The staff is bare bones & can be very busy at times with set design folks from the entertainment industry. They don't have the capacity to respond to inquiries via social media, so an in person visit is necessary (and lots of fun!). Be patient. Just do your digging and take photos of what you are interested in with your phone. The shop operates in a brocante style (like if you've ever watched Dick & Angel shop for architectural salvage in France on "Escape to the Chateau"). You show your photos to the shop owner Carolyn at the main checkout and she comes up with a price for your selections. I know it seems weird, but when you see the shop you will understand that there is no way in h*ll they could possibly put individual prices on everything. This is not Facebook marketplace and the pricing for some items will reflect this shop's proximity to NYC. The owner's passion and commitment to recycling and repurposing just about everything from a wide variety and time periods is admirable. I was able to find a perfect match for my 1890's porch door thanks to their collection of treasures. Payment is cash or Venmo.

Unfortunately her husband passed away after a long illness over a year ago. Terri during this time did not allow her personal life to interfere with her professional life. Have visited this shop every year since I've been going to Ocean Grove, several years now. Terri is always pleasant and helpful. I have purchased several lovely items over the years. My nautical lace curtains adorn my dining room window & have received many compliments over the years. High quality. They have held up quite well. We will be down in June for Bridgefest. We always enjoy ourselves while We r shopping. The store is always clean people are very friendly and so much cool stuff to buy. Today had to be the greatest experience. There was a phenomenal employee Kristi. I don't know if she's a manager, if she's not she should be. Kristi went above and beyond customer service. I had bought a wreath that faded shortly after I bought it. I brought it back to return. I had taken the tag off it and brought the wrong receipt. At first they would not be able to credit me. Then I said I would take it home no worries Kristi gave me a bag for it while I was continuing to shop. As I went on shopping Kristi chased after me found one on the shelf and refunded my money it was only $15 but the quality of customer care out of her was amazing. Very refreshing.
