The store itself is nicely laid out and easy to navigate. The cashier was very friendly and even helped me get a box to carry the wine, which was appreciated. Overall, a good Trader Joe's experience and a convenient stop if you're picking up groceries and alcohol in one trip.

And it's pretty big with a great selection of food to choose from like every Trader Joe's. Has the same ambiance as every location from having beautiful murals to match the setting of the location, to having amazing outstanding service, to being a bigger location than most other Trader Joe's. This is a good location to visit and buy groceries at. The only criticism with Trader Joe's and its the same as every other location I have been to in my life. Is that the produce may spoil quickly due to too much plastic packaging, of course the baked pastries spoiling quickly as they're all frozen for shipping which traps condensation, and then of course the wait times could be hectic as it always gets busy at Trader Joe's.

This Asian grocery store features a wide range of Korean specialties, including banchan, snacks,…read moreprepared entrees, various types of kimchi, and bags of rice in different sizes. Like any full-service market, they also have a fish department, along with fresh-cut and prepackaged vegetables, and a selection of meats. As with any grocery store, I strongly recommend checking expiration dates before purchasing. In their fish department, be sure to examine the clarity of the fish's eyes to ensure freshness. The overhead sprinklers in the produce section can sometimes oversaturate the vegetables, so it is worth inspecting those carefully as well. The employees are not particularly chatty, but if you need assistance navigating the store, they are helpful and will point you in the right direction. The aisles are generally well organized and well stocked during the weekdays. On weekends, however, the store is more crowded, and there have been times when specific items I was looking for were either limited or unavailable. The ambiance is okay, and the parking is easy, as it is in a strip mall, and there are plenty of parking spaces. There is a small eating area available if you would like to eat a prepared entree after purchasing it. A sign indicates they are happy to heat your said entree if needed, but I didn't see anyone available to assist. Given the number of excellent eateries surrounding the supermarket, we chose not to purchase and heat any entrees there. This grocery store is conveniently located for those who prefer not to travel all the way to Edison's Asian markets, particularly HMart. It's worth noting that prices here tend to be a dollar or two higher than at HMart. However, when you factor in savings on gas and travel time, it can often be more practical to shop locally.

There has been a slow downward spiral in several areas over the last 6-12 months. The biggest…read moreissue has been the Meat Department. For the last month, the Custom Counter has been closed. What we have been left with is a crapshoot of beef and pork to select from since at least May 14, 2025. The butchers have gone from friendly and approachable with an interest in the customers to the "just doing what I'm told" approach. The stuff in the showcase can best be described as "mystery meat", not what is on the label. Likewise the pricing has no balance with what is being seen on the Boards. Likewise, the Produce has begun to hit the skids. Over the last several months, starting in February, the quality has definitely gone down hill. Fruits that could be guaranteed to last at least two to three weeks barely make it through the week. Many of the vegetables are barely ripe. Example, the most recent delivery of Iceberg lettuce feels more like it should be used as weights in a pilates class. Those items that are ripe have definitely been sitting on a pallet for some time in storage. In the Prepared Foods sections, this past week, someone made the decision to use old rooster parts for the fried chicken, branding it as "Perdue Giant Parts." It almost looks like the stuff that didn't sell from the Meat Department was shuffled down to be used for the prepared stuff. The more I watch this, the more I get a sense that Saker ShopRites have become infested with accountants that are more interested in short-term gain instead of long-term generations of customers who can trust the store to provide consistency in terms of the food and service. Generations of customers are far safer to develop income than a one-time purchaser. But I guess when the only interest is hearing the cash register ring, then who cares about quality or value? Are you listening, Rich?

Exceptional Pharmacy:…read more It's rare these days to find a Pharmacy that truly feels community-centered, but that's exactly what you get here. Unlike the big chain pharmacies that often feel rushed, impersonal, and overly reliant on kiosks, this Shop Rite Pharmacy stands out for all the right reasons. From the moment you walk in, it feels less transactional and far more personal. The team takes the time to listen, never rushes you, and genuinely cares--often greeting customers by name. That level of attentiveness is something you just don't see much anymore. What really sets this Pharmacy apart is the accessibility of the Pharmacists themselves. They're approachable, patient, and willing to take the time to clearly explain medications and answer questions without making you feel like you're holding up a line. The staff--Ginny, Trisha, Brittany, and Eve--operate seamlessly together, creating a smooth and welcoming experience every time. It's clear that strong leadership is at the core of it all. Raj Patel, the General Manager, has been here for 20 years, and his experience and steady guidance show in every aspect of the operation. On a scale of 1 to 10, this team is easily an 11. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a Pharmacy that truly puts people first. Harry Robinson CEO, Technology Solutions Partners

It's a good store, and gets a lot of traffic regularly- therefore sometimes it doesn't seem to be in the by condition- but I've been shopping here for years and any issues I have happened to have were just honest mistakes. For the most part the employees here are nice and are pretty easy to talk to/deal with. I enjoy walking in and seeing all of the flowers right at the front, as well- it gives it a good atmosphere to first walk into. Shopping carts could be collected a little better, however.
