This is located next to Chipotle , drive thru Starbucks, Lowes at Princeton, NJ. My goto place to get vegetables, snacks, frozen foods, beer and flowers. The people are always very helpful and friendly and the store is clean and organized. The price is also reasonable.

    Good ingredients...

The last time I was at one of these was a few years ago in Marlton maybe...not as big as Whole Foods but some unique things, and the crowds to show it . As soon as I walked in there were people up my butt, similar to ShopRite. The prices are a bit more reasonable than Whole Foods also.

My fiancé and I decided to take a trip to this Trader Joe's to pick up some wine for a party. The only other location that sells liquor is in Westfield. The location and setup are nice. The layout was pretty much the same as other stores I've been to. They had a good selection of wines. Plenty of spaces in the parking lot.

This was my first time at this location and my is it much bigger than the one in my neighborhood. This location also has alcohol!

If you are like me I shop at Trader Joe's 1-2x/week. When I go abroad to visit friends I oftentimes buy gifts from TJs (and they request certain items from TJs). I come to this Princeton location once in few months from Philly specifically to get some of the liquor items. As far as I know this location is the only one around here that sells liquor. You know how TJs come out with their seasonal items, they do that with their liquor also. Now is the season to get their Boozy liquor truffles, so I got multiple packages to give it out to people. Aside from the liquor section this place usually have newly released items pretty fast (I think a lot of the new items are released from California first). I think this store can use a little expanding (even though it is a good size). Every time I go here it is pretty packed with customers, and I see many people buying boxes and boxes of wine!

This is one of the nicest Trader Joe's anywhere. It is very large for a Trader Joe's and well stocked with 12 checkout lanes. The crew members are very pleasant and helpful. Parking is easy, but access from US1 can be tricky.

Story time: my mom came to this Trader Joe's after a very stressful and drama-filled last day of school (she is a teacher), she got some flowers and groceries and when she got to the register, the employee (possibly the manager) asked her how her day was, took the flowers from her basket and handed it to my mom telling her thank you and how much she is appreciated as a teacher! Also, she didn't charge her for it. This is the most convenient and friendliest staff grocery store I ever found! Every time you ask for assistance, employees will go their way out to help you! Employees at registers are outstanding, always smile and make you feel welcome! Whoever is the manager of Princeton Trader Joe's is MVP! He or she deserves a bonus as well as the rest of the crew! Good job guys. Keep up the good work! Loveeeeeeeeee this location. Thank you for reading this and I hope you find this helpful.

Beautiful, fresh flowers at great prices.

What's not to love about the Princeton Trader Joe's!! 1. The store always looks super clean and fresh. 2. The staff is always so friendly. 3. The store is always well manned with ample employees. 4. Every visit, at least one employee (sometimes two) will ask if I need help. 5. For a relatively small space, they pack in a lot of items in a very organized fashion. 6. Many of their snacks are comparable to other food store prices, but with healthier ingredients. 7. Practically no other food store sells beer and wine in New Jersey. 8. The free food sample and coffee sample of the day is a nice perk 9. Fresh flowers placed at the entrance a stroke of genius, setting the stage for your happy journey through the aisles of Trader Joes. (Avoid on weekends as it gets crowded)

    I love trader joes!

Very impressed with my first visit to D'Angelo's! I was in town for the Princeton graduation…read morefestivities, and we stopped here for lunch following the ceremonies. D'Angelo Italian Market is located a few blocks away from the Princeton campus. It is a corner store with some street parking around, along with a parking garage right across the street. I have been told parking is strictly enforced by the city around here, so make sure to pay for street parking when you go. The inside is that of an Italian deli and market, but more. There is seating inside, and also some outdoor tables. There is not table service, but you order at the counter and then can enjoy your meal. We had a part of 7, and were able to push a few tables together inside to eat. They have a ton of deli options, but also have baked goods, breads, and pizza slices that you can buy from the counter. Additionally, there is a large menu of other food items that are made to order. There are also cooler drinks to choose from. The staff were all so friendly. It appears they know their frequent customers, and they greet them as they come in. Though I was a new customer, I felt welcomed and thought all of my questions were answered in a kind manner. We ordered several items, with one being the Eggplant Rollatini for an appetizer. This was so good, as I love eggplant in Italian dishes. It was filled with cheese, but still crispy and delicious even in all the sauce. We ordered more rolls than what is on the menu since we had several people. Additionally, we sampled several of the pizza slices - Margherita Pizza, Parmigiana Pizza, Vodka Sauce Pizza. I enjoyed each of them. The crust is thin and crispy, as you would expect from a place like this. They were all good, but the classic Margherita was probably my favorite. For my sandwich, I got the Turkey Supreme Hero. It was really good and had a ton of meat on it. I love a good turkey sandwich, and this was exactly that. After seeing what the sandwiches on the rolls looked like, I probably would have gotten that instead of the Hero. Nonetheless, it was still very good. Our table got some other items, like the Princeton Tiger Hero, Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries, and a Pepperoni Roll. No one had anything they did not enjoy. Did not get the chance to try either the desserts or any of the all day breakfast items. The next time I visit, I would definitely want to try some of those menu items! Like I said, I very much enjoyed my first visit to D'Angelo's. Everything was delightful, the staff were very friendly, and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the shop. I hope to visit again next time I am in the area. Would highly recommend stopping here!

Seafood shack in the middle of Princeton, NJ?…read more Nassau Street Produce and Seafood produces good seafood entrees with great value. They also sell uncooked seafood here and a limited selection of fresh produce as well but my visits focus on the box lunches and entrees. At the prices quoted, the entrees are well worth it. The salmon platter has been my favorite so far with a great grilled flavor accompanied with standard fries. The salmon filet, whether stand-alone platter or between a bun, has perfectly cooked grilled lines, with a moist bite that speaks to the expertise of the griller knowing exactly when to take the filet off the heat. For box lunches, the fish and chips platter is a mammoth sized filet that would be best eaten quickly to savor any crunch that is left over from steaming in the cardboard box. It would be hard to say your hunger would not be satisfied with this meal. The fried clams was really on the small side without the belly and was mostly breading to be honest. They were however perfectly crunchy and not greasy. If there is one knock on the food it would have to be the fries, which could be the worse fries I've ever had. Definitely up charge for the onion rings which are supposedly homemade and far superior. They shutdown operations rather early in the evening so this isn't a evening meal destination. I often find myself taking my food to a nearby Princeton park table/bench to enjoy on a nice sunny day/early evening. Call ahead if you are in a hurry and your meal will be waiting for you before you arrive.

I used to…read morelive in Princeton and now live about 30 minutes away, but I'm fortunate enough to work nearby and have continued to stop in. The seafood has always been reliably fresh, and for that, I give credit. However, the level of customer service has seriously declined. It's disappointing because in today's world--where good service is increasingly rare--it should be easy to stand out by simply treating people with basic respect. Unfortunately, the staff, many of whom I recognize from past visits, have become noticeably rude and unprofessional. There's no excuse for this kind of behavior. I'd rather take my business elsewhere--there are other seafood markets in places like Clinton and Flemington that value their customers. Sometimes businesses reach a point where it's time to reassess: either improve the team or consider moving on. Quality 4 out of five customer service negative.
