A cursory walk-through of the former Kohls says they're going to bet the ranch on furniture and lots of it. That loveseat in canary yellow leather would look great next to that oh so on-trend velveteen potted palm. Put it on layaway. The mobs inside are never wrong. Four stars.

This place is absolutely huge - occupying the former Sam's Club location and filling it with more sad sack area rugs and disposable furniture than you can possible absorb in one overwhelming visit. At Home is literally a vast downscale showroom servicing all of your future re-gifting needs. As you stroll the concrete floor navigating the endless maze of 12-foot steel shelving one stark truth emerges, nothing here is of particularly high quality right down to Huey Lewis' Greatest Hits serenading your every step. Although the affirmational "Farmers Harvest Love" throw pillow might add some much needed kitsch to my attic. Nothing here really screams you got a deal and that's the disappointment. Never has so much space been dedicated to so little of so little quality. Two stars for Huey Lewis' Greatest Hits. A CD that I will be re-gifting shortly.

As we signed on the dotted line to purchase a dining room table and 4 chairs we were told it could be an extra 6-8 weeks. I had just spent hours picking it out so we decided to move ahead. We placed the order on 3/8/2026 and still don't have our order. I have had to reach out multiple times to get status updates and customer service is terrible. I typically have to follow-up multiple times to get a response. I often purchase high end furniture from Europe and I would never order from Bo Concept again. At this point, I am told I should have it at 28 weeks from my order date - 7 months!!! No accommodations, no apologies, not even prompt responses. I am very disappointed.

This is certainly a well kept up store and seemed to have more employees present on the floor. There are vast amounts of home goods and decor mixed in with the arts and crafts. For the hell of it I looked for a pair of my ideal scissors, no luck... buts that's not why I came so no marks off. I was even thinking about rounding up to 4 stars as I approached the checkout, but then I saw all the religious propaganda at the front of the store. I did know of their strong Christian leaning, and in general I don't have an issue with that. But when they are selling this stuff and making a profit on it, I suddenly don't feel like I'm in a craft store anymore. Had there been equal time devoted to other religions I might have had a different reaction. I'd still come back as long as I didn't burst into flames upon entering.

I tried the design services once and found them underwhelming. With that said, the online ordering is where they completely fumble the ball. I ordered a sample 20 days ago, 14 business days, and it's still stuck several states away. I called to report the delay and got nowhere. I had to provide the same info to both an AI agent and a human rep. The person put my on a long hold with loud music just to come back and inform me of the tracking history I could look up myself. I asked for a better resolution and even offered to reorder, but the human said the new order would take just as long. I wish they had just had this sample in the store to begin with, though I was willing to order because I thought that process would be more efficient. The rep was maddeningly repetitive and unapologetic. At the very least, she shouldn't have kept me on hold so long just to look up information that I didn't need or ask for. I told her at the outset that the shipment was delayed. I didn't need to hear that it was stuck in West Virginia. I told her I'd be leaving a bad review, and she seemed fine with that, so here we are.

It is comfortably alive, which is more than can be said for much of modern retail. The Barnes and Noble alone is reason enough to show up. It is a proper bookstore where you can wander, browse, and briefly pretend the internet isn't actively murdering print media. I also enjoy the little AMC theater, which is perfectly fine as long as you are seeing a movie that does not demand the thunder and spectacle of IMAX. Sometimes a modest screen, a bag of popcorn and a plush recliner are more than enough. The place is rarely crowded, which makes errands feel less like combat and more like a calm agreement between shoppers and time itself. That said, I am hoping something interesting eventually replaces the recently shuttered Bahama Breeze. The space feels like it wants to be fed a new idea. Time will tell whether that happens.
