This company installed kitchen in my house…read more At the beginning Abe (Kitchen and Bath Creation by PHD owner) was very nice to me and my wife. But I was taken back quite a bit on how Abe started to treat us right in the middle of the project. From been jolly and friendly he become rude and cranky. Most time he responded that he just having a bad day. I understand people do have bad days but when you are in the service industry you have to be upbeat all the time. I had to deal with numerous rude and demanding customers myself, but no matter how belligerent they were ,how inconvenient and timely their request was, I had to remain happy, polite and be engaged with them. What I can't understand is if you were having so much of a bad days that you had to be rude and cranky with us, how is it you immediately went to another my friend's house afterwards and your attitude immediately changed to your jolly and friendly self. This gives me reason to believe that for some ungodly reason to developed a resentment to us. I am so befuddled that I have to ask why. If you feel that we are being too picky in bringing every little flaw to your attention. Well you are right. When a person spends their life savings, nearly $37000.00, on a home improvement, they expect nothing less than perfection. Numerous times in your sales pitch you stressed the fact that you will make your crew redo tasks over and over until it is done right and I held you to it. We put our full trust in you. We gave you our pass codes and allowed you and the crew to come and go at will. We trusted you so much that without hesitation we paid you in full the first week in 2 payments, which is highly frowned upon when listening to the experts on dealing with contractors. You gave us your word that you would pay us $1000.00 for every customer we got for you whether they contracted you or not. Well to date we got you 3 or 4 customers but only 2 hired you for the job. But we never seen a check for $2000.00. In the sales pitch Abe bragged that Kitchen and Bath Creation by PHD don't have handymen that do everything. They have a demolition crew. A carpenter, an electrician and floor guys. Well it turned out that Mike and Eugene did everything. Ok, they did have an electrician. Still, I asked him several times if an electrician has a license and Abe refused to give me any proof. Abe promised to have our bathroom renovated before our anniversary and that never happened. Abe promised us a full course, white glove dinner in our new kitchen, catered by D'Angelos (the local Italian Market), and that never happened. We never asked for any of these things. Abe brought it to our attention. Also, between us and the customers we got for him, Abe made a lot of money in a 5 month period. All we want is that he would honor his word as a man and make sure he stands behind your work and the products he installed and are hoping he stay true. Unfortunately, most of his sale pitch turns out be not true. At this point I just hope that this company can finally finish our kitchen so we can move on with our live and forget about this nightmare.

I am still ecstatic about the result -- I mean like I still smile every time I walk into the kitchen and open the fridge door!! Fast forward to Thanksgiving 2022... 4 year old grandson decides to throw something and dented the kick panel under the refrigerator. I was really something rather minor... but my OCD was kicking in big time, so I gave Rissa a call and she sorted it out... and I mean WAY over and above sorted it out. I have rarely ever been as happy with a vendor / provider -- while I had expected the worst, it was very much the opposite -- they have not yet invented words to describe how much I think this firm has some of the best "after sale support" [and we're talking a LOT of years past the actual sale!!]. While I doubt I'll be replacing a kitchen again anytime soon... if anyone ever asks me for a recommendation, there will be zero hesitation on this recommendation.

We worked with Kuche + Cucina for a kitchen remodel in Manhattan and also worked with another…read morerenovation group for the rest of the apartment. We really enjoyed working with Carmi to establish the design and that process was very painless and flexible. We were set to start on renovations in early 2020 however with COVID, we had to delay our renovations due to the building's policy. Kuche+Cucina was super understanding and held our cabinets for us until we were ready and felt comfortable with proceeding with renovations given the circumstances. However, the main reason that this is a 3 star review is that we definitely had some issues working with the renovation coordinator. Though I think we were all in unfamiliar waters with the pandemic I definitely felt like there were quite a few times when the ball was dropped on their side. For example we weren't told in advance that our contractor would need to move certain outlets in order for the cabinets to be installed even though we had asked explicitly beforehand if there was anything that needed to be done in advance. This caused delays in the whole process and required the other renovation company to schedule last minute changes around them which luckily they had no issue with. There were also multiple times that we were asked for information in an urgent manner that we had already provided prior which made the process quite stressful. In addition it seemed like coordination between Kuche+Cucina and the actual workers was a bit messy and just confusing in general. We would be asked one thing by the workers and be told by Kuche+Cucina to just not worry about it. But then later it would come up as a last minute problem and Kuche+Cucina seemed just as confused as we were and said that this was an issue with the contractors rather than take responsibility for their poor communication with their contractors. I expected a profession kitchen renovation company to be more organized especially for a relatively straightforward cabinet installation. Some requests were also totally ignored. For example, we requested that a soap dispenser hole be made in the countertop we ordered and received confirmation from the group but no hole was ever made. It's not really a huge deal to us but it's definitely just one example of many small communication issues that we had with Kuche+Cucina and the communication between them and their contractors. Meanwhile the other renovation company that we worked with for the rest of the apartment work was super communicative and easy to work with even when we hit unexpected road bumps. Since all this occurred during an unprecedented pandemic I would take our experience with a grain of salt but we probably wouldn't choose to work with Kuche+Cucina in the future.

We have a 1950's ranch in Riverside, which was in desperate need of updating. It took us 10 years to find someone who was up to the task but it was well worth the wait. The owner, Darko, and his team first remodeled our three bathrooms, which are now beautiful. Because we were so happy with our bathrooms, we had them redo our basement (which is not only lovely with a new laundry room but no longer gets wet when it rains) and then our kitchen, which is stunning. This space was transformed from a dysfunctional and unattractive old room to a beautiful contemporary space with a beam from a 150 year old barn that visually separates the kitchen from the dining room. It's really great! We also had them side our house with hardy shale, which will never need painting, and they added details to the exterior by using antique bricks. Because we loved the antique brick on the exterior, Darko suggested that we use it on the fireplace wall in our living room. It's beautiful! They are currently converting our two garage into a cottage with a state of the art kitchen and bathroom, small living room, and bedroom that has lots of windows and closet space. Its amazing! The very high quality of his work at affordable prices makes BOGY construction stand out from competitors in town. Darko has exacting standards and uses the highest quality materials in all of his projects. He and his team are also very respectful when working in the home. He works closely with an engineer and architect to make sure the new construction maximizes existing space and is structurally sound. It is his attention to detail, high quality of craftsmanship, reasonable prices, and collaborative work ethic that keeps us and his many other clients in town coming back time and time again for other projects. In short, I HIGHLY recommend BOGY construction for both small and large jobs in your home. Though we often wished that jobs would go a little faster, we also know that it takes time, thought, and great care to produce a beautiful living space with interesting details that will set your home apart from others. With years of experience in home construction, you will be getting someone who will help you work out creative and beautiful solutions to your home. We could not be happier with the quality of the work and friendly service from BOGY Construction.

Usually, it's the other way around. To go deeper: my fiancée and I were in a VERY difficult position, having been taken advantage of (to put it nicely) by an unscrupulous general contractor. We made it known that we had budgetary limitations and a specific timeframe required for completion of the project- and The Kitchen Wizards were truly there for us when it felt like nobody else was. Our house was built in 1850. Other contractors hemmed and hawed about working on a home of that age and were full of excuses. Milosz and Lukasz, they made it happen! It turns out, The Kitchen Wizards can do a lot more than just kitchens! Our project involved work on a bathroom, a finished attic, a new laundry room, new flooring, plumbing & electrical, paint, carpentry, and placing an all-new kitchen inside the old kitchen's footprint. Whether you simply want a good price on kitchen cabinets and a new countertop, or you need work on a larger project - I highly recommend Milosz, Lukasz and the team at Kitchen Wizards. They're a family-run business that does things the right way. Receipts for all materials were provided, work was performed on-time (actually faster), and the quality is top notch. I wish we'd worked with the Kitchen Wizards from the beginning. It's so difficult to find a good, let alone *great* home improvement contractor. Believe me when I say: "just give Kitchen Wizards a call and they can handle it all." Everything came together beautifully. We cannot wait to build a life together in our newly renovated home. Thank you to Milosz, Lukasz and the rest of the team that made our dream come true!
