Ferguson's imperious customer service in the showroom hasn't improved but the solution is simple, order online and completely bypass the trolls at the bridge. Understandably, for a complex remodel that may not be possible or practical but for one or two items where you're completely certain of the brand and/or specs the e-commerce route is the road to enlightenment. I don't say this casually because as a rule I prefer supporting brick and mortar locations but you can't put a price on mental health. No tolls or trolls. Five easy stars. read more

These guys have an amazing product range but they cannot get their orders shipped to you in time to save their lives. It is unbelievable what we have gone through with Ferguson. Instead of thinking out of the box and helping us get the products, they keep saying, we don't work for UPS, if we could drive the product we would but we are not truck drives. We worked with Tracy DiMascio, showroom consultant, for an addition and remodel for our beach cottage in OBX. Although there is a local Ferguson's on OBX I felt the need for some hand holding locally as we worked on this long distance project. I had several appointments with Tracy to consider Bathroom faucets, shower pieces, lighting, accessories etc. With so very many options her knowledge of their various product lines was invaluable. She was able to assist creating an order list with all required parts like diverters etc!! Who knew! She was able to help order thru the Build site and we had it all shipped to our contractor in OBX. Now that the project is mostly complete I reached out to Tracy again since I over ordered towel racks and she assisted with that return. Of all the items we ordered only one Kohler faucet was a dud and Tracy is helping to navigate with this vendor to replace. I couldn't have done it without her patience, expertise and attention to detail. I will recommend her highly to anyone needing help with a project and definitely call upon Tracy again when the need arises!! Mikayla is incredible and we love our bathrooms! Our contractor highly recommended Ferguson as he has had many customers very satisfied over the years. I visited with the need to renovate two bathrooms. Mikayla listened extremely well to our needs and was very patient as we made decisions, presenting multiple additional options if we were still pondering. We have a very small powder room and finding a sink that wasn't wider than 14 inches seemed impossible but again Mikayla helped immensely. My husband and I just left this store. Horrendous customer service! I called earlier this week to inquire about a particular piece & the woman returning my call was not helpful. So instead, we decided to drive there in hopes that they would help us out; instead we were extremely disappointed. The pendants are almost $900 each and we were willing to buy 3 today, but because they couldn't answer our questions & wouldn't give us the time of day, we left. All I wanted To know was if they had something comparable in person that we could see in size and style. Guess that was too difficult of an ask. I'll never go back. Don't waste your time going here! Absolutely horrible customer service and it looks like other reviews are consistent with mine! I honestly felt like they judged me from the second I entered the show room. It's almost as if the employees see a person walking in they put a headset on to pretend they are busy so they don't have to interact. I've never seen anything like it! I was literally the ONLY person in the entire show room for over an hour this afternoon, during a major thunderstorm with hail coming down and tornado warnings (so I couldn't walk out to my car easily). During that time, not one person ever asked me if I needed help while I was there. I finally asked a random employee walking around where the Kohler products were (since it wasn't clearly labeled) and he acted like he was annoyed, then pointed to an area far away rather than taking me to the specific area. I also asked about appliances and he said speak to Tom (I had no clue who that person was). This employee also told me just to look at Build.com as a way to figure out what "I want". After roaming around for a while, trying to figure out things on my own, I finally had to seek out "Tom" for questions regarding appliances. I kindly asked a random woman, of course with a head set on pretending not to see me, that I'd like to speak to Tom for spec sheets for appliances. She rolled her eyes, sent a message to Tom on her computer and told me to "stand by that vanity so Tom can find me in the showroom". Tom finally found me in the show room and his desk was literally on the other side of the wall from this woman. Tom was extremely impersonal and as I was walked around with him asking questions about appliances, I literally saw the other employees rolling their eyes at me in a back room office space. I worked with Ferguson at their Ringoes location and they were great! But the employees at this location we awful! read more

Sent here by our Interior Designer to check things out for our complete kitchen re-do. Arriving up the escalator we were greeted with almost hostility that we didn't have an appointment. The woman at the desk very reluctantly allowed us to walk through the showroom but assured us no one would be available to help us. There is a lot to look at here so we did wander around for a little while. We of course went elsewhere with our money. I spoke to a former employee from here and they said that the Ringoes NJ location is friendlier, but that appointments with their "designers" are always preferred. We have our own independent designer and there are other stores that carry high-end appliances and fixtures without being snobby or rude. We will not be back. read more

We visited Ferguson Lawrenceville showroom for appliance selection for our kitchen remodel and we were pleasantly surprised with the high end range of products they have and Thomas who was the the appliance specialist was amazing - he quickly grasped our needs, and product preferences and explained every detail and he was very knowledgeable. Recently redid our kitchen and bathroom with Ferguson hardware. We did have some issues over about a year while the projects progressed. Firstly, my error, I realized I wanted a different shower diverter after we had already purchased the hardware. They quickly shipped a replacement and took the original back without question. Then a part galled when the plumber was installing. They rapidly ordered a duplicate item and swapped out the necessary parts. Then when the bathroom sinks were installed, it transpired the drains were for sinks with overflows whereas the ones we bought from them did not have overflows. The replacements were on our doorstep the next day. Excellent hardware and very good service. read more

We had a huge project going on and did not find Ferguson to be the place to go. I only wish we knew this before spending so much time and money there. The invoicing was horrible and we had a very hard time tracking purchases and returns. They were not accommodating and very unprofessional when trying to get detailed invoices. The good news is we are done doing business with them. I do not recommend them as you can find the products somewhere else as we cannot complain about the products they sell. I ordered the wrong tub from a chain store and then called Ferguson in a panic to see if they could get me a new tub ASAP. The sales rep (Joanne) was super helpful, found me a tub that fit my needs and had it and the parts to me first thing the next day (parts arrived at 7:30am and tub at 10:30am). She saved me!!!!! A friend suggested I write a review when I was telling her how awful it was here. My husband and I took the time to drive out, ready to purchase, knowing what we wanted, and they wouldn't help us. The front girl said there are two consultants who are busy with clients by appointment but those consultants were walking around the showroom without customers. We said, "Are you appointment only? Because we can make one" and she said "No, we take walk-ins all the time." Ok. Then we were ok with just placing an order through the front girl and it just wouldn't happen. We've done tons of business with Ferguson at the Lawrenceville location. It is poorly run and the consultants do not know the products. BUT, they have everything you need for a renovation. The selections are plentiful and the showroom is excellent. The shipping and ordering is pretty good, we've spent tens of thousands of dollars and never had an issue with something not showing up on time. read more

When we redid our upstairs bathroom our designer sent us to Ferguson in the Princeton area to pick out the fixtures, hardware, etc. The show room is absolutely gorgeous! And the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It can be really overwhelming to choose all of the parts that make up a bathroom--but being able to touch, feel, and see so many options was super helpful. The products they have on display are beautiful and the end result was a beautiful bathroom in my home. I recommend them to anyone looking to remodel. read more

I was shopping in the Mercer Mall and I happened to walk into the Ferguson Showroom. I couldn't help but be impressed with the showroom and the way it was laid out and all the choices there were for fixtures. I especially liked the white tubs when you first enter and how they are displayed. The showroom was very clean and bright and the receptionist was very friendly. I purchased Moen faucets for my kitchen and bathroom and I just love the quality of them. read more

We purchased a shower door that cost $1,100.00 We found out after it was installed that this was not going to work for us. This was after we had other issues with the tub. I wrote to the company headquarters in search of help and they sent me a women who would never get back to me unless I contacted the headquarters again. I had to do this 3 times. The first time I wrote to them was back in the beginning of January 2013 and I just received an email 2 weeks ago regarding the tub but they are not addressing the tub problem. I have emailed the headquarters only to be ignored. They are not responding to my email. I guess they figure this would be the way for them to get rid of me. Horrible! Never again. read more

This place is terrible. My husband and I made a huge purchase from them when we were renovating our kitchen. Well they never shipped the $700 sink we ordered and would not refund us the money for weeks. My plumber ended up being able to find THE EXACT SAME sink for $250 at another store. I had to go round and round with their manager several times before they refunded my card. I've never been treated so poorly by a sales staff ever. And their stuff is marked up higher. I would go look at their showroom, find out what you like, and go get it somewhere else cheaper. You do not want to be dealing with these people if something goes wrong. read more

I met with Michael I. from the Lawrenceville store to help me renovate my bathroom, which was the original from the 1960's. I had a picture of a bathroom I had seen in a tile store that I really liked. Michael helped me pick the wall-to-wall cabinets, sink, faucets, shower, toilet and everything else that goes into creating a modern bathroom. Everything was delivered to my home promptly, as promised, in perfect condition..........top quality products at the right price. I needed to change the shower head to a smaller one at the last minute. Michael said "no problem" and I received the new one in 2 days, and he had the one I couldn't use picked up from my home. My contractor just finished and my new bathroom is gorgeous.......better than I ever imagined it would look. My contractor had no issues constructing my bathroom. Everything fit perfectly and all wood finishes were included. My contractor and I are very happy! read more

My husband and I just completed a renovation of our apartment in NYC and could not have been happier with our experience with Ferguson. My in-laws live in NJ so when we started our project we went to the showroom to look around. We ended up working with Erica and she made the process incredibly easy and efficient. You need an appointment which is understandable given the level of attention you are provided. Erica helped us navigate our original selections, never pushing us outside of our budget and always providing valuable insight regarding the products. She has an amazing knowledge of the inventory both on the floor and available through their extensive catalog. As our project evolved, she made it very easy to modify our orders via email and phone communication. There were several items that we ended up needing to exchange due to changes in the scope of the project and the ferguson team made it very simple. We received all deliveries promptly and our contractor was never left waiting for supplies. We did have one item arrive damaged and when discovered, the store took swift action to replace the item, coordinating the return and new delivery with our team (over a holiday non-the-less). While you could probably find minor savings ordering through several online dealers, we found that having a dedicated person to interface with was priceless and any savings would have been lost by the time returns and exchanges were accounted for.
