Rudest employees I have ever encountered. I've had more than one bad experience here, multiple in fact which is why I'm writing this. I am not an idiot, I googled what time Dollar tree closes and because I usually come here. I know that they close at 9 PM. I got here at 8:50 and as soon as I walk in, I have an employee yelling at me you have three minutes. I didn't know 8:50 + 3 minutes = 9 o'clock, but I'm the idiot right? The moment I start turning into the isles all three employees are just looking at me upset as if I bothered their day lol. They are standing at the registers laughing and watching me, it is 8:55.... They close at 9pm though. I have had my son get pushed out of an aisle just because three grown woman were stealing aluminum pans. The employees didn't even flinch. Lady just walked to the door, it's 8:56pm and they have been closed, doors locked since 8:51. I'm probably being anal with a couple of minutes, but you guys get paid to be here until closing time not when you decide to close because you guys don't wanna help customers anymore. The human race is just becoming a disappointment. Horrible customer service. My toddlers are more polite. read more

Need a few quick cheap things while you're driving by on Bailey Road? Here's a place to go within walking distance of BART. There are several Dollar Trees in the area, and they all have mostly the same merchandise. Household, office supplies, pet goods, and grub. And nothing costs more than $1. I put it down to two stars, though, because it's a small store, and that translates into not having some of the items that the other Dollar Trees have. It feels cramped; that doesn't bother me, but you can come down with claustrophobia here. Then I have to realize that this is Bay Point, aka West Picksburg, and the less merchandise they display, the less chance of, um, "shrinkage". It works if you need it, but you can do better at other Dollar Trees. read more

This place is in a super busy parking lot. You're lucky to find good parking. This store is small but sometimes you find really good deals. I personally come here for birthday cards and birthday bags. You can't really beat a dollar. I would recommend trying stopping by here to see if they have what you need versus other store where you spend way more money. read more

I didn't know they let TRASH work here. I was walking pass the store, not aware of what time it was. "The other stores are open and bustling, so this one should be too." I thought. I reach to open the door and this tall black lady that works there aggressively thrusts the door open (KNOWING I'm right there), almost slamming it into me. This woman gives me an ugly look, stands there and says "SIR-AUDOH." I say "what?", and she says again, CERADOUGH! BYE!!". Apparently, that means "closed", but I wouldn't know because: 1. I don't speak Spanish 2. She pronounced it horribly 3. She speaks English just fine, so why didn't she just tell me that it English? I was born and raised in Cal and have fair skin. I get straight A's in English. I have no accent. Why discriminate? Anyway, I picked up all of that quickly and instead of making a big deal about it, I said "I don't speak Spanish" in a polite tone. She replied with, "THEN YA BETTA LEARN IT. NOW GET LOST!...BYE!!" What the hell what that all about? And yes, she was shouting 2 feet next to me. This "dollar store" has a few treasures (eg. Overstock items from other stores which normally retail for more but are now a buck!) this place is much better and has much nicer staff than the dollar tree on railroad ave. I had bought a mop the other day but forgot to take it with me. Yes, that means I left an item I paid for in the store. I come back a week later to buy it again, but I first mention what happened to the cashier to see if he can help me do a receipt lookup or something (btw, the cashier might be a new or future manager shortly from what I overheard). At any rate, he just gives me the mop and says he believes me and we don't have to do anything else. Super easy transaction. Super great customer service. And there's some "treasures" to be found. Well what more can you expect from a Dollar Tree store?! Can't get any cheaper than this, right? Wrong.. Sometime I would prefer to go to the 99¢ store in Concord. A penny doesn't make a difference but the 99¢ store has a lot more variety! The customer service isn't the best. They look unhappy and miserable. I like to go back and forth from here & Safeway. Sometimes even though it is a dollar it's more worth it to get at Safeway. Their stock for the most part is great for whatever I need: party supplies, little trinkets for goodie bags, etc. read more

The worst dollar tree I have been to, and unfortunately it's in my neighborhood. This place is filthy. My wife made a special order from corporate to be delivered to the bailey road store. Corporate sent us an email saying it was delivered. We went there to pick it up and the manager, with out looking, said no she has not recieved a special bulk order, and she just walked away. My wife insisted she look at the email on her phone. She went into her office and we waited for 20 minutes. Turns out she doesn't pay attention to her requisitions. "Oh I found it," she said, "turns out I opened it and stocked the shelves with it." Well okay, consider this, the reason why my wife special ordered this item in bulk is because they stopped carrying it. Blah, blah, blah, this store has a history of crapitude. I like to come here to get disposable cleaning stuff for the house. But not everything in dollar stores are always the best deal, so know your shopping list and make wise decisions to save you a buck or two so you can spend it on what really matters...a fabulous lunch or dinner at a great restaurant. Anyways...the employees here are always helpful. They've looked for stuff for me when they were busy and even helped me load a few things to my car when I bought a lot of stuff for my then business. The most disgusting store I have ever been to. The floors are filthy, buy a vacuum for gods sake. Mice running around the store like they own the place. Whoever the manager is of this store needs to be fired! I will never step foot in there ever again and I urge you not to either. It is extremely dirty, but the biggest perve I have is the stock in the aisles. You can't see what's on the shelves due to huge boxes blocking everything. The store is small enough as it is, so the inventory makes it worse. This is the closest to me, but I drive to the one on Railroad or the one in at Delta Fair. read more

This dollar store deserves at least 3 stars. Yeah it's dimly lit, messy, and has long lines, but the staff is nice, the inventory changes seasonally, and you can get cards for 25 cents. read more
