Tell me why I waited over an hour for squishes? My daughter's birthday is Monday. Was 7th in line, got in and asked right away if that had anything. She said no dumplings and no Needoh but have some squishy items- not we have some up her at the counter. So half the line walks to back to look while I guess she others went to counter. The whole store is a mess. Things are everywhere. There's no price on half of the stuff we went in to get Easter stuff and there was no pricing on it. The manager was rude. The store needs total help. It's not worth any stars. It is so it literally has stuff everywhere without any prices. read more

I come in here with my kids sometimes and it has cool things you didn't even know you needed. It's basically like the high end version of dollar tree. The staff helps you with self check out when needed. They have a nice snack selection, school supplies, plushies, and interior decorating items. 5 Below stores are very hard to find but are worth to check out. read more

Went in and the worker was very rude after a person complained about the self service unit taking her money but it not showing that money was taken on the screen. When the customer complained that money was taken by the machine the attendant said she was lying. The attendant opened the machine and barely looked saying to the customer that she was in the wrong. Excuse me! If you've ever worked in retail or customer service The Customer is Always right regardless! The attendant would not give a refund for the money taken and stated the cameras were broken so they couldn't even review the footage. So she obviously was stealing from the customers that came in!! And she was the only worker!! Very very suspicious. She had dark hair and braces. DO NOT TRUST HER!! read more

I was excited to learn we had a Five Below store in my area but quickly got disappointed after seeing how messy the store was. The merchandise was just all over the place. The worst part was the T-shirts section where most if not all of them were just all crumpled up and none was folded. No exaggeration but it was looking like a train wreck. But other than that, we found some cool interesting stuff such as cool bumpy sandals, cute looking dog toys, and others. I'm so glad there is finally a location in the Bay Area!! Five Below has been my favorite place to go to during my trips to Orange County for a few yeas now and I usually also go to the one in Stockton but glad that one has opened a little closer to home. I like this location but I can't give if 4 or 5 stars because the store is still not completely stocked, it has taken them months to get home supplies such as pillows, rugs, blankets and such. Their electronics area also isn't completely full as of yet. I believe that this has to do with supply chain issues. The concept of the store is that they sell items for $5 or below but they also sell bigger and higher end items that many be anywhere from $8-$15 as well. They have a great cosmetics, personal care and beauty section complete with great body/face scrubs, make-up, nail polish, and mostly anything that you would find in a Target or Walmart. They have a nice selection of travel items tat usually range from $1-$5. I also love their perfume and cologne section, they are all dupes of some of the most popular name brand perfumes and colognes but they are $5!! You can pretty much get anything at this store and it can definitely be a one stop shop and the prices are great. I'm hoping that they will be completely stocked soon but I do recommend checking them out if you've never been to a Five Below as it's a great store and I will be back! read more

This is the spot I visit when I need to buy affordable incentives for my students. So far, I've bought slinkies, clay, pens, fidgets, and fidget spinners. Some of the items are discounted to $1.00 whereas they are selling the same products online for $7.99. Instead of spending a fortune buying toys online, I choose to come here. My students think I'm spending a fortune on them buying these high-quality toys but in reality, I'm not spending all that much. For now, I will keep this place a secret from my kids, so they will work hard in order to earn their prizes. read more

I love Five Below, I've been going to it for years living in the East Coast, and also there's one in Anaheim and Vacaville. But this location, they seem to have opened without being fully stocked, unless this is how it is. They have lots of candy, a small make-up and beauty selection, cute keychains, cute plush, socks, tie dye tops and bottom, some sporting goods, art supplies, and some toys. If you are looking for some Spider-Man stuff, you can find some. They have this $5 spider-man/venom electric car toy that flips when it hits the wall. My nephew and son loves it. Don't forget you'll need your own batteries, triple As and double As. The selection I listed might seem like a lot, but compared to a lot of the other Five below, it isn't at all. A typical Five Below is usually stocked with (and I mean Stocked!) a lot of different design t-shirts, a lot more selections of socks, tumblers, cards, lots electronics (which I didn't see a section for) , lots cellphone cases (didn't see this either), lots of school supplies and room decor such as hanging shelf, laundry basket, cute trash bins and more. See their website for everything. I'm hoping they will fully be stocked next time I come here. As I see that they have a huge area tied off with nothing yet. They only have a helper at the front and self-service registers. Free bags or you can pay .25 cents for a big sturdy one. This place is located near Old Navy. I called up to the concord location twice yesterday and no one answered and it was 9:47am. They opened at 9:30am. So I drove 30 minutes to concord from San Pablo. And when I I got there I felt like I was being watched as an African American woman once I walked in. Then I asked for help with a book I was looking for and the woman rushed me off who worked there and brushed me off like she couldn't help me at all but the few employees that were there kept circling me but wasn't asking me for assistance. Its like a super fancy Dollar General in here. On one hand you can throw $30 in a garbage can or you can come here with your kids and buy stupid random stuff. I like their art supplies. I bought a $5 yoga mat. I threw it away after two weeks because it started falling apart. Candy, we get candy. My daughter buys the little makeup application stuff. Its cheap so why not? I've bought make up that I actually like and doesn't burn my eyes out. They have cute shirts. Its a much more pleasant shopping experience here than a Dollar Store. Wow, I can't believe that Five Below is actually now in NorCal! Every time I head down to SoCal (I was just there last week), I make sure to pay a visit to one of their many branches, but now I won't have to go so far! I just happened to have lunch at the Veranda next door (speaking of SoCal, this place feels just like it), and on my way out, out of the corner of my eye... could it be?! Why, yes! I was absolutely shocked and elated to spot one of my favorite stores much closer to home. The best way to describe Five Below is that it is a higher end dollar store... a five dollar store, if you will, hence the name! A myriad of household items, electronics, toys, workout equipment, etc. lines the shelves, and they are mostly of higher quality than what you'd find at your local garden variety MacFrugal's, Pic 'N' Save, Big Lots, or Dollar Tree. Every time I drop by, I tell myself that I'm only going to window shop, but alas, I always fail miserably, as it is darn near mission impossible to leave empty handed. At this new location, things are no different. Every which way I turn, there is always something cute and/or cool to attract my attention. My only minor gripe is that this location doesn't seem as well stocked as its SoCal counterparts, with some shelves being slightly bare, so perhaps there are supply chain issues? Overall, there are still more than enough items to suit the majority of customers' needs. Service is friendly and helpful, and all checkouts are done manually by the customer. Overall I'd go back here in a heartbeat! If you're strapped for cash and need good quality items I'd recommend you shop here! You'll still be paying a pretty penny but not as much as many places with certain items ! The younger lady working the counter was VERY sweet and accommodating to our needs. The cash register I went to was card only and I have only cash on me . Darn. She got up and had to use her crutches to get over there. Did it no problem no second thought. I thought wow. What a hard working young woman. Even though she has something wrong with her lower area ( leg or foot ) she still GOT UP AND LIMPED OVER THERE TO HELP! Horrible!! This five below is never stocked and incredibly unorganized and messy.. everything all over the floors and the shelves are mostly bare every time I go. Who's ever running this five below needs to clean this place up. I'm just super disappointed this place was once my favorite place to go when it opened now it's just nasty and not well stocked. This place is hit or miss with the selection. This location is one of the smaller ones I have seen. On a good day you can find good seasonal items and well stocked toys for the kids and art supplies. The tech area is probably the best as it's full of car chargers, led items, headphones galore and as many phone cases you could possibly need. Just be careful because some of the items are 5 BEYOND meaning it's over $5. Still all reasonably priced. The latest bargains I ran into were colorful puzzles and 240 doggy bags for $5! Not bad! Minus one star for the not so friendly staff and the fact that they aren't consistent with their items so you can't always assume their inventory is full. read more

This has got to be the most chaotic, disorganized and overall worst, Five Below I've ever been to. There are items all I've the floor in most areas, large carts with stock that has not yet been put out. It's clear that they are unstaffed, but to feel so overwhelmed and overstimulated upon entering the store is something their Management should address ASAP. read more

Employees were extremely impolite and disrespectful. A woman got extremely hostile and passive aggressive when my friend spilled his juice. He offered to clean it up multiple times and she apathetically rejected each time. I understand that the spill was inconvenient, but that is not an excuse for her poor behavior. My friend was nearly in tears from her harshness, and he felt so guilty. Although you might not think this is a huge concern, the impact of her immaturity and lack of composure can have a huge impact on others. it was not necessary for her to act like that and especially such a harmless mistake. read more

Five below is not so good in my opinion because, I got an electronic from there because it was cheap gone back to the store because it was not working, and it was very light for an electronic, so I went back to the store, and I got a new one because I traded it in and the second one was not working either and it was made cheaply it felt lie there was nothing in the device. read more
