Prices were missing from items and shelves. About 1/2 of the things we looked at had neither a price on the item or on the shelf. We found a couple of the things we came in for, and went to pay, and there was one checkout line! By the time we got online there were 5 people waiting. Suddenly we noticed that the last person on line was called over to a cashier that just opened! WTH? They should have called the next person on line. When I said something to that cashier, the original cashier said "don't worry you're next" (with more than a little attitude!). I told her that didn't the way to do things. She again made a comment. Clearly this store is heading for the trash before it even gets started. Their prices do not warrant coming back even if their customer service had been decent. They got two stars because they had a couple things we came in for, and the items actually had prices on them. One and done.

Why not check out a mall when you have never been to one and see all the changes and what to offer. There's plenty of parking space in the front and back of the mall and was not hard to find, and a lot of empty ones. The lines need to be repainted as it's desperately needed. Stepping inside was no joke, a dead mall. Most or not many of the stores are closed even with big brand names such as FYE, The Bon Ton, Old Navy, and Kay Jewelers to name a few. I don't see in the future of new stores making their debut to open, if so, maybe some entertainment places. I'd say within a couple or more years it will be fully dead. No issues with the bathrooms and housing keeping in the main hallway, just a sad place to be with many closed stores.

Now having been a VERY regular and long time Marshall's shopper I can assure you the on site manager I dealt with was demeaning and discourteous for reasons passing understanding. To be perfectly frank, I believe the purchase was outside the 30 day refund policy. For that reason alone, I was willing to take a lesser amount as a store credit. That said, the shift manager, I encountered, wouldn't engage at any level. She stated that returns at this high of an amount ($49.99), wouldn't normally be considered full stop. Having worked retail for over 30 years and engaged with this store for the last 5-8 yrs I can assure you, she had no reason to react in the manner I experienced. After reading your online reviews, it's obvious this policy and perhaps even your inventory system has changed. If so, I would encourage work arounds that address the lack of transparency and most assuredly revisiting the training opportunity of customer relations within this location. I will attempt to return elsewhere as I believe the return to be dated well beyond the 30 day window. Perhaps another location would prefer the repeat business. Please note, while you may feel justified regurgitating policy with little or no effort toward civility, and acting as if your customer has wronged you, will only serve to decrease your market share and eventually challenge your performance.
