Most variety stores are pack with things that you couldn't possibly imagine but in Solo they are there. Each isle is crammed with surprises ,from the floor to the ceiling , but what makes SOLO so special is the staff. There is the owner who is a Pakistani gentleman who will give you his right arm to make you happy. I have seen him give patrons things , when they don't have enough money,and say to them when you get the rest of the money come and give it to me. The rest of the crew is fantastic also .At the cash register there are a number of women I suppose it's his Wife, Daughters , and other family members . Who patiently deal with the on slot of crazy patrons. It was just the other day while standing on the back of the line and watching the madness as it played out. On any given day there is at least four lines and people know this , but still persist on making a line were there is no open register to serve them ,and then have the nerve to get mad at the people on the register for not taking them next. Let's not forget the people who cut the line's. That's right there are people who walk right up to the front of the line and put their parcels on the counter and expect to be served. Amazing what these poor people have to Indore every day but they still do it with a pleasant smile on their face. I salute the owner of solo his staff ; for having and keeping a countless variety of merchandise for his patrons .For keeping the quality of his merchandise at such a high level and the prices "SOLO".

My optician was Howie, who told me that his resume includes over two decades of experience working for LensCrafters and Davis Vision, so I valued his opinion on each frame that I tried on. I purchased the one that he said looks best on me. The out of pocket costs were considerably less than what I would have paid at LensCrafters or Davis Vision, where I have been going for over 15 years. Both retail chains have gotten way too expensive even though I have premium vision insurance. My out-of-pocket costs for a luxury brand pair of glasses with progressive lenses are at least $300 now at LensCrafters or Davis Vision. At Costco Vision, I paid about $150. The only negative is that Costco Vision does not have an anti-fog option.
