She took the time to look up my Nordstrom rewards and apply them to my purchase. All departments are fully stocked and waiting for bargain shoppers like me. I find Nordstrom Rack prices exceptional for high end merchandise. Their in house brands are comparable and also provide good value. Having to travel so far just to get to one is tough--we seriously need more locations opened up across the island to make regular trips easier. The Cons: Salad bar sanitation concern: While by the salad bar, we watched an employee texting on her phone with food-service gloves on, and then she immediately went straight back to prepping food using those exact same gloves without changing them. Cell phones carry so many germs, so seeing that happen at a self-serve/food station was really unappetizing. We brought it up to staff right away, so hopefully management addressed it and retrained on basic food safety protocols. It's still one of the best grocery stores around, but basic glove hygiene and kitchen standards definitely need closer attention at the prepared food stations!
