I really enjoy that there are still department stores like this. In a world where everything seems to be going online or to target/walmart for everything this place is a lighthouse for us guys who don't always fit in traditional sizes. The men's section includes a well stocked big and tall section with matching styles from the "typical size" section. Worst experience at kohl's. We spent more time on line WAITING cuz some woman was still shopping while paying-not the cashiers fault BUT she did call for back up and NOBODY came for 20 minutes, then we finally get up there to pay when the backup decided to show up and she wouldn't take off the $10 coupon...WHY? I've never had a problem with coupons from kohl's before so what is the problem today? She was not friendly about it either and we spent over $300...with all stores filing bankruptcy these days, you should value repeat customers-unreal! read more

This new Kohl's is HUGE compared to other Kohl's I have visited! It is a new addition to the Tanger Outlet complex and located right next to the BJ's. The store is spacious and the selections are very large. So you can't find anything at the outlets stores visit this Kohl's right next door. Tip: Enter parking lot from Grand Blvd. or Commack Road. The BJ's parking lot is connected internally to the Kohl's parking lot. read more

Beware of buying anything of value!! No customer support if problem. I am so disappointed in Kohl's customer service. They have ignored common sense and the facts of my circumstance and chose an uncompromising adherence to policy rather than customer service. I bought the same rug in three different sizes valued at almost $700. Each rug shed insane. I would have to empty the vacuum at least 12 times each day trying to control the shedding. Even so the fuzz spread all over our home and created a mess. After a few days of we realized they were defective and would not stop shedding. However, when I returned the rugs a $195 was deducted from their price paid. They stated it was the $195 in Kohl's cash earned from rugs purchase that had been spent on Christmas gifts. That was the actual reason we decided to replace our carpets at this time. I was told that I would have to buy the exact same rugs to get their full value back. I wanted to buy different carpets since common sense would reveal another carpet of this type would have same issue. Remember, all three exhibited the same shedding issue. I thought only fair that I get to pick different carpets for the full value paid. However, they would only return my money short $195 and suggested I call Kohl's customer support. This began a frustrating exchange with customer service. Many times their response only a cut & paste of policy rather than a real response to my emailed questions. After a bunch of emails. There final response "As much as we want to do a price adjustment to a different item that you want to order for replacement of the damaged items you received, we strictly follow our policy and procedure. " So there you have it, I have $195 less to spend on rugs. Kohl's does not stand by their products or behind their customers. I feel the opposite of a MVC or Most Valued Customer as my Kohl's card states. However, as they lost a customer I won't be needing it any longer. read more

I placed an order online and chose "Store Pickup". I never got the email telling me the order was ready, so I headed in about 10 hours later figuring it would be ready. The order was there and bagged. I waited on what I like to call "The Forever Line", and was happily greeted by the young lady at the counter. She was very personable and friendly. She quickly scanned the items and put them back into the bags and I was on my way. I had purchased 4 small kitchen appliances which all had rebates on them. When I got home, I started filling out my rebate form and cutting out the UPC codes from the boxes. Well, one of the appliances already had the UPC code missing. The box also looked like it wasn't right. Apparently, someone had bought it, claimed a rebate, and returned it to the store. So I had to travel all the way back to the store the next day to exchange it for another one. Mind you, they gave me this obviously opened one with a missing UPC code when there was literally a tower of perfect new ones on the selling floor. The rep at the return counter couldn't believe they gave me the one they did and even referred to it as "the worst condition one we had". The store itself is your typical Kohl's. Great deals if you buy online and know how to take advantage of their coupons and deals. For instance, I scored those 4 appliances... a Belgian Waffle Maker, A 10-Speed Blender, A 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker, and an Electric Griddle.... All for under $5 total after discounts, coupons, and rebates!!! :-) I just didn't appreciate their apparent attempt to pawn off a less-than-perfect item to me. read more

It's a big store. Conveniently located next to the Tanger outlet stores in Deer Park which means I can now shop all in one spot. Awesome! It was a little messy in the evening on Labor Day at Kohls but I bet it was crazy busy during the day. They let me keep the hangers, yay! read more

Being that it's Christmas time I understand it gets busy, but I had to write a review for the attitude I was given. I just recently started shopping at kohl's. However, I waited on the line that I guess was an amazon return line. There was about 10 people on the line and I was in the middle. Of course one woman is working the counter and eventually 15/20 minutes later finally gets back up since the line keeps growing. Now the two women being helped; one is having an issue with a return and the other woman decided she wanted to buy the whole damn store that day (I'm talking like her entire Christmas list; 4 blankets just to start.) I had one picture frame that I found to the section of the left of the line and figured I'd hop right on that line. I finally get to the counter and the sales associate had said to me "you really waited on this line just to purchase that?" LMAO!! Excuse me? It's one item. You really have the nerve to tell a customer that? Is there not a cash register there? Did you not just see what was being purchased next to you? I guess she couldn't handle the stress of a long line and the attitude from the women behind me because they were getting annoyed that the line was taking forever. She's a skinny older woman with blonde hair and bangs. Hope she's not a manager!!! read more

Allison was awesome! I had some Kohl's cash that I had to spend, and needed some school supplies. I had gone to the other Kohls in the area and they neither had what what I was looking for, nor where they friendly. But I called this store, they had what I was looking for AND Allison was friendly enough to show me where everything was and check me out. Not that I plan on going back to Kohls again, but if I WERE to go back, this is where I would go. read more

I buy all my kids' school clothes here. They ALWAYS have sales and you can't beat the kohls cash you get often when making purchases. The employees always keep the shelves/displays neatly organized. I tried the other kohls location nearby and it was horrible. Barely any clothes and everything was in disarray. This commack location also has a great variety of trendy toddler/baby clothes, housewares, jewelry and makeup! Won't go to any other kohls but this one! read more

I love this Kohl's, out of all of the ones I've been too this one always seems neat and the staff is friendly. My only problem is that, its located right next to the outlet so getting in may be a hassle at times. read more
