The quality suited our needs and 2 stars is not for the dresses, but for what makes up much of the experience when excitedly setting out to shop for a nice dress with your teen daughter. We've been to this store twice to make purchases and both times we had to endure terrible customer service from one particular employee. A kind manager stepped in to resolve our situation. As the manager helped us, the employee went to the next register to ring someone else - and we could hear her being difficult with those customers, too!

Get an ugly sweater for our upcoming party. Not only did they have a plethora of sweaters, they came to play with a whole bunch of assorted holiday apparel. And was it expensive? No, not at all. There was a sale on the holiday apparel, as well as an extra 25% off if your rewards member. Pro tip: you do not have to be a credit card holder to be a rewards member. Now all you have to do is put your phone number in after you quickly register for free and you get the perks. Gone on the days when we used to have a store credit card for these things. Also, I felt like such an old lady at the checkout. Now, this location has self service checkout kiosks. And even though I thought I was smart enough to use one I kept on beeping because the security tag was still on my ugly sweater. Staff came over to help and they did not make me feel dumb about it at all. They also explained to me how to properly use the kiosk as I was completely doing it wrong. And for the holiday season, it wasn't too packed. The stores kept nice. There was so much stuff that I really kinda wanted to go back and shop for myself . Because the it's the holiday season and it's about giving and that's what I'll be doing for the next couple weeks. : P

I had a very frustrating experience with H&M regarding a return. I knew I had missed the return…read moredeadline by a couple of days because I had been sick and there was also a snowstorm, but I went to the store hoping they might be willing to make an exception or at least offer store credit. When I tried to explain the situation, the manager refused the return and didn't even take the time to listen to what I was saying. I then spent several days emailing customer service hoping they could help, only to be told that nothing could be done and that the decision was entirely up to the store manager. It was extremely disappointing to spend so much time trying to resolve the issue only to feel completely dismissed as a customer.
