They have great apps, cheeses, desserts, dips etc if you're having a party it will save you so much money. Self checkout is annoying but that's technology for you. However, I'm really frustrated with the return policy when it comes to trying new products. If you buy something because you want to "try" it out and end up not liking it--or realize you bought the wrong one--you can't return it if you've opened the package. But how are you supposed to know whether you like a product or if it's the right one without actually trying it? I understand not being able to return certain used items, but it would be nice if there were a better solution for things that have only been opened to test them. There are already so many loose items throughout the stores and on clearance, so I feel like returned products could simply be marked down and resold when appropriate. It's just really frustrating, especially when art supplies can be expensive and sometimes you don't know if a particular product will work for you until you actually use it. That being said, I have nothing bad to say about the employees! Every employee I've interacted with has been so nice, helpful, and friendly. Overall, I love shopping at Michael's--I just wish the return policy were a little more customer-friendly when it comes to products you need to try before knowing if they're right for you.

Shaun mentioned the problem and she just had the most snippy responses and dry unpleasant attitude.
