Lots of DTs have dupes of higher priced beauty items and they're a buck and a quarter, so YES I will give them a try. Surprisingly, this DT was organized really well and I was able to find some great items. The store was clean and there weren't too many boxes strewn about. My issue was the line, chile the line!!!! There was ONE person working for a good portion of my time in line, so it took a while to get out. I try to pack my patience because of the great deals. Hopefully that improves.

The checkout person in the lane we chose was a young man who was not very pleasant or talkative, and he forgot to deduct for the two store coupons I had given him. TELL ME WHY IN 2026, THE JERK MARINADE EXPIRED IN 2024. Luckily I had not prepared the meal further and following day took my item back to customer service. The customer service cashier Kate, was able to not only refund me the money, but gave me additional Giant gas points and a store credit to use for later. My nephew's birthday is coming up and he wants Pokémon cards. I didn't know anything about Pokémon…read more(until I went to this store). I am so glad that I stopped at Chesapeake Sports Cards! The guy managing the store was very helpful! There were different items for sale and I didn't know what I needed. He explained the differences between all of the items and he helped me get what I needed for my nephew. I also learned that pre-COVID the store would host Pokémon games in one of the rooms. I think that's awesome that the store hosted games where the community could get together. I hope they resume once the COVID era ends. (Do adults play Pokémon? After talking to him, I think it would be fun to learn.) Since this was my first time in a sport card shop, I was even able to get a small pack of baseball cards for my friend who collects them. The store was bright and cheery and had a happy atmosphere. I had a great customer service experience and would definitely go there again and recommend it to anyone.
