Normally a reliable store with the old management but since he has left gone down hill they never have help at the register and while not only myself but several other people were pulling up to go into the store just now there is signs on the doors saying closed but yet all the lights are on and it looks like people are in there. Some of these people trying to go into the store are older and having trouble walking to get all the way to what looks like an open store and the doors locked. At least turn the lights off - felt so bad for some of the people that had to walk all the way back to their cars read more

We couldn't find what we were looking for...these stores aren't really the stores that I normally shop in but this was our Fourth and Final Dollar Tree and two out of four of them looked like this. Maybe these locations are under staffed but hey they still get tons of business regardless if I saw many code violations. Now I know Why I never stop by these stores simply because of the amount of unworked merchandise that should be out for sale but it's all packed up still in boxes. It doesn't make sense to have items just out like this in the isles and in boxes where customers' are trying to look for items and having to move boxes; and L carts out of their way of looking for what they may need. If you know the merchandise can not be worked Why not leave it in the back room? Guess that makes too much sense. Just letting it protrude the aisles makes much more common sense. read more

The store is constantly out of items. Boxes on dollies clog aisles awaiting shelving making shopping difficult. Checkout is always a long wait. Men's room door doesn't lock. Ridiculous. Used to be tolerable, now it's a wreck. Needs management and leadership. read more

One of my favorite dollar stores in Dallas by far! This is a TRUE dollar store where everything really IS A DOLLAR! It's great for wrapping paper, party supplies and gift bags that are normally $3-4 in a regular store. The greeting card selection is huge, with a vast selection of real Hallmark cards. Seasonal items do not disappoint and they seem to be putting them out 12 hours a day. The regular items on shelves such as ziplocks, paper plates and sundries is always filled to the brim. The sunglasses selection is fantastic and you can find a great pair of sunnies for only $1. The associates are always friendly and courteous no matter how long the line to check out is. I'm at this store at least once a week! read more

I found a lot of good items however the store was messy. The store manager was nice and told me prices on an item that didn't have a price on it. The worst was Anita, the cashier. She's a black lady and she was so rude !! She lacks customer service skills and needs to lighten up her bad attitude. She was talking about me to her friend who was standing near the checkout line chatting away with her. I'm wondering why the store manager would allow her friend to just stand there and chat the whole time while Anita was on the clock. The dollar store in Frisco is much better and has great customer service. read more

I've been running around and have been to multiple dollar tree locations all over the area. I have to say, this location always leaves me disappointed. The store itself is rather spread out and spacious, however, I feel like I doesn't stock as much as the other smaller locations. there's always items that I've seen at other locations that I can't find at this one. either they're always out, or they never had it to begin with. I went the other day just to grab a quick balloon for a friends birthday. they have a nice wall display with all the options, but when I asked for one, they told me that they were out of helium. like....seriously?! and from the looks of the balloons that were pre-inflated, they had been out for WEEKS because the Mylar balloons were starting to lose air..and those balloons last forever. there's only 1 or 2 workers in the store usually and they're nice...but not helpful since the store never has what I want. so ...meh. read more

I was in the Dollar Tree location on Midway Road near Trinity Mills March 31, 2021 and would like to recognize the amazing customer service given me by a young man who was working as the cashier. Unfortunately, I do not know his name but here is my story. I was in a fairly long line, waiting to pay for my items, and immediately was struck with how friendly, polite and helpful the cashier was to the person who was paying at that moment. Remarkably, this same attentiveness was given to each and every customer who was ahead of me in the line. The politeness was not scripted but was more of a genuine interest of the cashier in making sure everyone in that line had a positive experience in his store. When it was my turn to check out, the cashier not only extended me the same personal non scripted attention but took it a step further. I had purchased a large number of glass items which I had placed in an empty box before paying. I asked the cashier if he had any paper I could use to wrap each piece so as not to break any of the items. Not only did he supply me with the requested paper, he, without me asking, would help me wrap each of the pieces after he finished checking out the next customer in line. The cashier continued to help me, between taking care of his customers, until every piece had been securely wrapped. I write this well deserved review because this degree of old fashion customer service is so infrequently seen these days. I do hope whoever is in charge of overseeing employees in this particular location, recognizes this cashier's wonderful demeanor and unusually good customer service. This Dollar Tree is close to my job. It's ok. The store is already stocked with Thanksgiving and some Christmas items. This store is well stocked but it doesn't have the supply that you will find in Dollar Tree stores in Frisco or other cities north of far north Dallas. I go to this store because it is close to work, but if I'm looking for a specialty item, then I will go to one of the Dollar Trees in Plano or Frisco. read more

I found a lot of things I needed and things I wanted! It has a little bit of everything and it was clean and organized. I felt at ease and loved watching all the people scurrying around looking for treasures like I was. I had to start from scratch helping set up a new apartment for a friend. So easy to put necessities in each room. First aide kits, tools box essentials (even a cute little tool box), kitchen, living room, dining room, bedroom, bathroom, cleaning, decorating, office supplies, picture frames, gardens, groceries, spices, shower, laundry, night lights, toys, arts & crafts, flashlights, pet supplies, car supplies, electronics, inspirational wall art, refrigerator magnets, bag clips, light bulbs, make-up, hair accessories, air fresheners, and even security devices to set-up an alarm for entry points! The staff was friendly and personable. I'm glad it is so close to my friends place! read more

I went to this Dollar Tree 2661 Midway Rd Ste 201, Carrollton, TX 75006 on 11/21/18 to get some foil pans for Thanksgiving. Everything was going good until I got to the register. First, the credit card machine was having issues. I was listening to a video on my phone and while trying to adjust the machine to take my card I put my iPhone down. While trying to get the machine to read my card, I became distracted. The video was still playing as I got in my car to leave the store. As I was driving in the parking my video stopped playing. I went to get my phone to see what happened and realized I didn't have it. I immediately went back in the store less than two minutes later, asked the cashier if she'd seen it and she looked around all nervous and said no. The lady that was behind me was still there getting checked out and she shook her head no. So being frantic I left the store and turned on the locator and reported the phone as lost. Saturday, I went back to the store to ask to see the cameras. I let the manager Rick know that my phone was lost there. He went to office to claim that he was going to look at the video. Of course he didn't let me see the video. When I was about to leave the store one of the cashiers described my phone to me and told me that the cashier that I'd described had it and left it in the office. Suddenly, knowing that a phone had been turned in Rick comes back out holding it with the back of it facing towards me. When I turned the phone around my screen had been smashed. The cashier tried to stop my phone from going off by sashing it. If she had good intentions, the message displaying on the phone said lost call ... but she didn't. Rick wanted to say that my phone was already broke and that I was lying on the cashier. He did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation besides call me a liar. read more
