I'm a sucker for TJ Maxx but this location was not my favorite. First, upon entering the store, there were no carts! I guess it was busier than I thought or they just don't have that many carts available. If I find a clothing item that I want to try on, it goes in the cart before going to the fitting room area. Luckily, I was able to finally find a cart later that someone had abandoned. I did find something to purchase, so it was so nice to have a cart to put it in. I made my way to the checkout line. I do like having one big line and then you are called forward to the next available cashier. The line on this day was really long and moving very slowly. My cashier was pleasant and I felt like I got a good deal on my items. read more

TJ Maxx - Waited almost 27 minutes on a Tuesday at 1:17. - Discount Store Near Me - Frisco, Texas

I was trying to exchange and told them this before handing return items. Their new policy doesn't do exchanges anymore. So they went ahead and process the return with receipt back to original payment (this was Christmas gift from my sister) I was looking forward to pay the remaining balance ($2-3) and get another toy for my daughter and things we needed. I didn't want to pay out of pocket, me and my daughter both left upset. I could ask my sister for the money but that wasn't the point. They could've been clear since I said exchanged and offer credit. They couldn't void the refund transaction either. My point is if cashier would've listened in the first place - this wouldn't have happened, or I would've stopped her and ask what we could do instead. read more

TJ always has good prices on home goods which is my go to when I visit. That's great and all but the employees I encountered here are so unfriendly. I worked here before as a teen so I know how draining it can be. However, I'm not asking for chic fil a service and being dismissive when I come here is off putting. read more

TJ Maxx - Cute wrapping paper - Discount Store Near Me - Frisco, Texas

I made a purchase that totaled $40.03 and used a gift card to pay for it. When the cashier, Afshi, went to confirm the purchase, the computer froze. The transaction went through on my end, but the cashier swore that the transaction was cancelled. I used a gift card loaded on my Apple Wallet, so when the transaction went through, I got the notification that my balance had changed. I was told that it did not go through and my balance is the same that my card started with. I showed her and the manager, Sima, that my phone showed how much was charged and that I needed to get my money back, whether that be on a gift card, but they would not refund my money. I was told we had to wait for the computer to unfreeze before I could receive a refund. Sima was EXTREMELY rude to me and did not handle the situation correctly. We waited for 40 minutes before we decided to leave and come back. I wrote my information down and the total from the purchase. I came back about an hour later to find that the computer was back up and running and was told that the transaction was cancelled, so I wasn't charged. Sima was incorrect and I had still been charged $40.03. I asked to see proof that the transaction was cancelled, but she laughed and would not let me see the screen that showed it (even though she had shown it to me an hour before). She only showed me a picture she took on her personal phone (and zoomed in on a part of the picture that wasn't relevant to the issue). I asked if she could send me the picture she took for proof of the cancelled transaction. She said no, she could not send that to me (even though she was able to show it to me). I then asked for the transaction number. She's said it was 1785. Sima was extremely rude in this situation and this ordeal took over an hour. I ended up RE-PURCHASING the two water bottles, which totaled $80.06 that I spent today at TJ Maxx. I would love to receive my $40.03 that was taken from me today. My gift card originally had $68.74 on it, but with $40.03 taken from me, it now shows that it only has $28.71 left on it. I have always loved TJ Maxx and spend a lot of money at the stores, but after today, I am disappointed in how TJ Maxx allowed their manager to treat me today. On the other hand, the other employees were extremely kind and I know that the computer freezing was not their fault. They did all that they could, but Sima needs to be reported for how she handled this situation. She definitely put a bad taste in my mouth about TJ Maxx and left me, a pregnant woman, stressed about something that could've been avoided. I have never complained to a manager or store about incidents. This was one that warrants contacting customer service. read more

I really like this TJ Maxx. They are always stocked with unique items that you won't find at other TJ Maxx stores throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I went to this store today looking for a black candle. I had previously purchased one at the TJ Maxx in Irving. They didn't have the same one that I had purchased in Irving but the did have some similar to that one. They already have a decent supply of falls items. They had sweaters, jackets, and scarves out. They also have kid Halloween costumes. I like this store because they have quality items for a cheaper price than you would spend at the mall. read more

I always love this location because they always have a wide variety of jewelry, today I went in walked straight to the jewelry counter and needed assistance to try on some jewelry. I waited 15 mins and did not have employee approach to me so I went to one of the dressing room employees to ask if they could call some one to the Jewelry counter but they assured me they could page someone but they didn't. I waited another 5 mins until I had to walk to the front of the store to ask for assistance again. They finally paged someone over the mic. Finally a women approached us as she was walking towards us giving us dirty stares and looking at us crazy, she then told us she could not work the register and couldn't help with the jewelry. I just left because the situation was ridiculous. read more

I called this location & asked if an item I purchased one week in their store was still in stock. I had 2 different people "helping" me, claiming to look for the item yet when I asked if they were certain the item was there, they admitted that they didn't check for the item I originally requested & said they'd check again. Then the original person (who was a cashier) got on the phone & I told her the 2nd person claimed to be double checking the item was in stock so I was holding for her. She said I couldn't hold, so I asked for her manager. A rude male got on the phone & told me that I couldn't hold for the 2nd person because she was with a truck. I told him I had no idea what he was talking about, and I asked why she would tell me she was checking for me if she was "with a truck"? He got irritated with me for asking, and said she's not available to help you. I asked for his name & he said his name was JASON. I asked him if he was the Store Manager, and he said he was with a very stern & smug tone. So I asked for his Managers name, and he said it was JORDAN, again with an abrasive tone. I understand stores get busy & that they're often understaffed, however my request wasn't during a peak time or on a peak day or holiday and it wasn't an unreasonable one either. Had either of the 2 employees listened to what I asked them to begin with, there wouldn't have been so much confusion & miscommunication between all of them. To top that off, the Manager mishandled the situation because he didn't have a proper understanding of what I was trying to explain nor the patience to hear me out. It's not difficult to understand why the 1st employee was rude- it's the same unprofessional behavior that her Manager displayed when speaking to a customer. If he's truly the store manager, that entire store needs proper training on customer service because they are clearly lacking it in their leadership. I spent over $600 in their store last week. I won't be shopping in any of their stores ever again. read more

Just left this store and from the time I walked in to the experience at the register, it was wonderful, polite and helpful. Please keep up the great customer service even if some people aren't very nice to you guys. All employees were working hard, yet they took the time out to greet you and chit chat. Worst customer service I've had at any retail store. I went in today to return a couple of things that I bought for Christmas gifts that just didn't work out, I had the receipt and the items. The employee starts the check out and one of the items is missing the tag, so she says she can return it because she can't tell what if is on the receipt. Then she tells me if I want a refund I have to go find the exact one in the store. Um, no, that's not happening. I have my screaming 1 year old and I have to pick up my son from school. Just return the $5 item and let's call it good. Well then she spends a good 10 min talking to her manager and finally comes back and says ok, I can give you $5.99 store credit. Ok, great! Let's do it and get out of here! I wish that was the end...then she says she has to find something in the store before she can do it. Ugh. I don't have time for this!! Just return the freaking item!! So I have to go look around the store for this dumb car appliance, no where to be found. Go back into line, behind 6 people and she finally gives me the store credit. I will stick to shopping at target. That was insane. read more

This is a typical TJ Maxx store. Not always the cleanest location but they do usually have some decent merchandise and hair products. They also have food items, bath towels, kitchen stuff and kids and men's clothing. They tend to have very few employees "helping" within the store but plenty of people to check you out. read more

This place was clean and the staff was friendly. It is close to where I live, so it is very convenient for me. I just needed to buy a couple of things so I really didn't have to ask the employees any questions. When I was checking out, i found an online coupon for 20%. The guy at the counter who i presume was the manger, tried to tell me that I had to be a member on their rewards program in order to use it. After me questioning it and essentially pressing for him to use it, he did. read more

Lady in customer service was so nice and friendly. She asked me if anything wrong with products when i returned my things. I just said no, and she returned everything easily and quickly. It is not as other stores make the returns process too slowly and difficult that make me don't like to shop there anymore. This store is perfect. However, they need to hire more employees to organize store to be more ordered so that it is easier for customers looking for their needs. I will come back again any way. read more

I really can't compare this location to other locations because this is the only one in the DFW area I've been to. But I come often and it's always a hit or miss. Good finds all on the same visit or absolutely nothing. I like the shoes, but they are always in a disarray.. the whole store is really. I like the location of it, it's near Ross, Target, even Old Navy, Rue 21..etc. So if you don't find something in any one of those stores, keep movin' along. read more

I can always find something when I go to this store. I saved so much money buying from tj max than regular department store. I bought sperrys from here and I'm not sure if they are real or not. I'm usually 8.5 but I had to get a 9 so maybe they are fake sperrys. read more

This is one of the only places we shop for clothes at. About once a month we go and look through all of the departments. It's fun to see what you can find. I've found great designer clothes for my daughter who's in college and great stuff for me to wear to work. They have a great selection of workout wear. It's hit or miss when you find things so going at different times of the month is a must. I've found great cookware and home goods too. It's just fun to go through and see what you can find with your friends. The staff is always nice and helpful and check out goes quick even if there is a line. I've never had a problem returning anything that didn't fit once I got it home. I got a great designer watch for a quarter of what it is on line. read more
