What's visiting Dallas from New Jersey and on the way to Galleria Mall I bumped into this Target location.. there's a huge parking lot.. been shopping in target for the past 10+ years and always had a positive view for this business.. service could be better.. slightly pricier than Walmart and other stores . The whole shop is huge and much bigger than some of the target locations in New Jersey.. I was able to get something that I was looking for, but it took a long time to find it.. wish there was more help within the store to guide newcomers like me.. the clothing quality was OK.. I was looking for Dallas Mavericks jerseys, but they did not have it.. there was a Starbucks inside and was helpful. Good experience overall... 4 stars.. read more

Most targets are built, organized and staffed well. What impressed me most about this location as a visitor in TX was the product variety and availability that we don't have back home. I found Lesset evil chips, lemonade brand that was made with all natural ingredients. Next was the cashier who checked us out. He was so personable, funny and provided great customer service. read more

We went here after a kid's swimming contest because we wanted to have lunch but the wife forgot to bring a change of clothes. The area where the store is located seems a bit run down and rough. But inside, this Target is pretty much like all the rest, maybe a bit smaller. I did not see an optical store like the one on NW Hwy, but it is possible that I just missed it. The prices and selection are what you expect at a Target. There was a line to check out at the self service stations, but it moved relatively quickly. read more

1st time coming inside usually sent husband in. Store was clean, organized and customer service was friendly and helpful. It was a Sunday so not many customers. It was nice that they had sanitizer for customers. Very easy to locate things. Will come back here for sure. read more

Prior to Covid-19, this particular Target was nothing to write home about. Average. Today, this particular Target has, without a shred of doubt, stepped up its game. Each shopping cart is wiped down before placed for public accessibility. Every employee is masked. The newish beer/wine area is very nice. Decent selection. The fruits and veggies are apparently clean, fresh and well lit. Everything else in the store seems to be organized and fairly well stocked, aside from the usual short-handed items as per the trump pandemic. There is a very nice Starbucks and a CVS pharmacy inside, so bonus! They also do curbside delivery for online orders. read more

Probably the worst target I've ever gone to. They never have anything in stock. Shelves are always empty. And it's as if they like pissing the customers off since they like to rearrange the entire store every couple of months. Why tf do they do this? Do you know how fucking irritating it is trying to find something when ITS IN A NEW PLACE EVERY TIME? read more

This is an older target but the fruit is always fresh and the prices are great. The signage does seem to be missing on quite a few things no matter what day you shop here, I thought at first it was because maybe they just had a big sale that ended or they moved things around, but it is always like that. The clothing area is well kept and easy to shop. read more

Horrible store. I felt like I was in a nightmare version of Walmart, not in a target. Employees were all rude. There were boxes of food on the ground waiting to be put on the shelves. They had one checkout line open and let a line 20 carts long accumulate. When I asked if they could open another register the employee shrugged and walked away. read more

alena the cashier had an attitude from the start. There was absolutely no reason for the attitude when we were nothing but nice. I'm not a karen lol i work food service and i understand when someone's in a bad mood but that doesn't mean you take it out on a customer. Even when i'm in a bad mood I try as best as i can to not ruin someone else's day, it's not their fault I'm in a crappy mood. Target is usually my safe place and where everyone's always nice but not today :/ Alena, please be nicer next time you never know what someone is going through. read more

Hands down the quickest service I've ever had for drive up orders. I come here because I know they won't disappoint when I'm crunched for time. read more

This location is hidden I feel like it looks kinda rough on the outside but the inside its fabulous. Always clean, friendly team members and they always have a great variety of things. Love this location. Update:This is the only location I can find Toms in.Yes target sells Toms but not at all locations but this is one of them! read more

Every time I try to get the bag for the baby registry they're out.... finally one woman told me they stopped making them because they don't want to. Way to go target, letting your employees slack off because they don't feel like doing something. Not to mention 99% of the employees have an attitude. They don't like working here. Some have been over the top nice.... but most are in need of some sunshine or something. read more

Very shady Target. I expected more. I bought (what I thought was) a PlayStation gift card from Target. Why did I think that? Because it said PLAYSTATION across the card and was a gift card with a PLAYSTATION controller. It was a Target gift card. Only to be used at Target. I have no problem with Target gift cards, I've actually bought several for Christmas gifts this year. Now going forward I won't buy another one. (Like NO GIFT CARDS at all from Target!) Screw me once, shame on you. You won't screw me again. Merry Christmas! read more

The amount of time I have wasted in a Target is ridiculous it i love it here! They should insert a bar and I wouldn't leave, nor would a lot of moms.. read more

This location is good in a pinch, but it's small, and in the middle of all of the crazy construction on 635. They typically only have a couple of lanes open for checkout, but they seem to move quickly. If you have claustrophobia, this is probably not the right location for you. If you need to run in to get some Bounty or Tide, I guess. Just set the alarm on your car, park in a well lit area (preferably close to the door), and hurry. read more

Worst Target in the world . The workers are clueless at this location . First off they only have two registered open and it's a busy ass Sunday . My friend card got messed up and the cashier void the transaction so she ask for a receipt and they told her they couldn't do that so how y'all couldn't show that wasn't void so all the manager did was wrote her name down read more

A regular target, but they still manage to sneak in about 4 aisles of food and a frozen food section. It's just older, smaller, and a bit darker inside, but it still gets the job done. It's easier to run in and run out quickly, and you'll probably want to, if you went at night. We were doing a tour of stores last night looking for a particular item, and didn't manage to find it here either. HOWEVER, I did manage to pick up 5 packages of peeps and a plastic easter basket (for a co worker that LOVES peeps) for a whopping.....96 cents! Sweet titties batman, that's a good score. read more

I dont know what I can say about this Target except that we got what we needed at reasonable prices here. The only thing we couldnt find were cheap plain sports caps that didnt have any logos on it. We had to go to Walmart for that. It's a little older versioned Target in that it doesnt have a Starbucks, but it worked for me (since I wasnt craving coffee in the scorching heat). read more

Good store. Clean, nice selection, and the lines don't take forever. Just got in and out in under 5 minutes for a return the day after Christmas. Not bad! read more

I have had consistent customer service that is at least five stars! This is not the largest target store nor does it have quite a selection at some of the larger ones do, but I go to this one because I always get exceptional care from the floor staff and returns and checking out. Kudos to Sebiha and her team! read more

This is a great Target. Not a super center so you can run in and get what you need without waking for 10 miles. Store is very clean and well organized and always has clearance items. This store also just put in Starbucks. read more

Target - Target on Monfort - Department Stores Near Me - Dallas, Texas

Not my favorite target. Items are not placed where you think they would be. For ex: I went down the isles looking for bug spray/repellent and none to be found, an isle or two down on the side they had two options. Then I walked to bathroom cleaning supplies and found big repellent there. Very disorganized for me. Hard to find things and never staff around for help. I go here when it's a quick trip to grab a thing or two and don't feel like driving further away. Today definitely wasn't worth it, took me longer to find items. read more

All the employees I came in contact with at this location were super friendly, courteous, helpful, and all wearing smiles! Way to go and keep up the good work! read more

I live like 2 mins away from this location and I LOVE coming here!! Although they don't have a lot of different types of produce and meat, I am fine with that. What I am pleased about is the majority of employees here are very helpful and polite. They have a very cheerful spirit and always smiling every time I come in. A lady named Keren remembers me from the first time she checked me out and she always greets and asks me how I have been every time I come in since. Anyway I thought I should leave a great review here for them after all the great shopping experiences!! read more

This Target is just ok. They don't open as early as other stores, and don't have online pickup. They do have self checkout, which is a nice perk. I think they are renovating it, so they may make some changes soon. The selection is pretty good too. read more

Ok so we've been coming to this Target for years now since it's close to where we live and nothing special UNTIL tonight we had the absolute pleasure of being checked out by a woman named Telia. It was less than an hour till closing time and she was the happiest person ever! She made my mom's and I's night by having the most upbeat attitude and putting a smile on our faces. She was so amazing I had to come on here and write this review even though we've come here for years. Thank you Telia for being such a sweet woman!! read more

Advertises speck iPhone clearance but would not honor what they advertised on the internet

Shelby went above and beyond any target employee I have ever encountered. She was in the dressing room area and I found a romper that actually fit me (kinda) I actually needed a large. With it being on clearance, I couldn't order it online. She called all of the surrounding targets that said it was in stock to try to get it for me. So sweet. read more

Every time I go in this target and buy perishable products they are out of date. Yesterday I went in to buy Ripple (milk product) it expired in June 2018. There wasn't a few out of date, I counted 9 out of date. We mostly take the long drive to the Plano target instead of going to this one. I do have to say the employees are very nice at the Montfort location. read more

My least favorite Target. The traffic surrounding it is a mess because of all the construction. Also, it's not a super Target, so I never get everything on my list. Sometimes it's convenient, but overall I try and avoid. read more

Outdated. Rude customers everywhere. I'd rather drive farther out for a better all-around experience.

This place needs more sales associates and it's a go to if you need to grab a few items. I like the super targets better and I have been to several other targets that were more organized and neat. read more

Picked up a television that was gifted to me (bought online) and once I got home I realized the packaging was opened and it was cracked. Came back to the same target and was told that I needed the receipt. I explained that my elderly parents ordered it online and they were not able to send us the receipt. I asked if we could log in to their email and show it on the phone. We spoke to the manager and were told that we had to print the receipt, with no printer- we were told to drive to staples. After wasting money on gas and printing- we lug the tv back to target and are told that we only needed to show our phones. At this point, I'm pissed off because we carried this tv back and forth, printed a receipt etc. to find out that they didn't have the tv in stock. There is a complete lack of communication at this store and management showed no type of interest in helping my case. I am very disappointed and will not be going back. read more

Last week I tried to return a 15" HDMI cable that my boyfriend purchase. Unfortunately he misplaced the receipt. I was told by Guest Services that Target's policy was no receipt for anything from Electronics equals no return and I should go home and try to locate the receipt as she called over the next customer. I was surprised to hear this, I shop at Target all the time and never knew this was their policy on electronic items. I didn't argue with the cashier on my way home I stopped at another Target location and they gladly told me the value of the item and that I can exchange it for an item within that price range. This isn't the first time I had a bad experience at this location. Another time I asked a cashier (Jennifer) a question about my receipt and after she answered me I told her very kindly I didn't think that was correct and she rudely said back to me "Well if you know the answer why are you asking me?" and she walked away....Wow I was flabbergasted at her response and reported it to the manager on my way out of the store. At this point I've decided I will no longer frequent this location since customer service is not priority. read more
