This is place that you have to check frequently. 9 out of 10 times when I go in, I don't buy anything. But, boy, when that 1 out of 10 times hits, it's because I've found something really amazing at a fraction of the cost at the main store. For example, I paid thousands of dollars to the main store for furniture from the Tate Collection, and I found two more pieces to add to it at the outlet for around $200. This is high-quality, mid-century-modern furniture designed by this really awesome guy named Blake Tovin. The outlet's furniture might have minor wear and tear from being in a showroom or being returned by a customer. The sales staff ALWAYS points out any nicks or dings to me before I buy a piece. You can't return things to the outlet, so it's a demonstration of integrity that they want you to see what might be flawed, so that you aren't duped. Sometimes, however, there are absolutely no flaws, and you're buying something in perfect condition. I have been lucky in that regard. A bookshelf I bought had one scratch from where a sticker was stuck to it and had been scraped off. That scratch, still, would not have been discernible to me or someone walking by. I added on the Terra Natural Board to my couch order because it was in stock and could be delivered at the same time as my couch, without an extra delivery fee. On the day of my couch delivery (that was delayed a month from my initial expected delivery), I was sent an email that my delivery was incomplete, the side board wouldn't be delivered, and I needed to call to find out what was going on. I called customer service and was told that my side board was damaged at the warehouse, but they had another one in stock and could deliver it in a couple of days. So, I rearranged my schedule to be available for a second delivery. At the time of my second scheduled delivery, I received an email saying "Your delivery is incomplete" and I had to call..again..to find out what was going on. This time, they said the side board did not arrive to the warehouse in time for my delivery (how was a delivery scheduled for an item that was not there? Fix your system). The delivery was rescheduled for a week later, and for a third time, I rearranged my busy schedule to be available for the delivery. Can you guess what happened this time? If you guessed that I received an email at the very time my delivery was scheduled telling me to call customer service to find out why my item couldn't be delivered..AGAIN.. you'd be correct. This time they told me that the item arrived damaged, and it was now out of stock and wouldn't be available until the end of July (original delivery date was the beginning of May). Much to my surprise, a couple of weeks later, I received an email saying a customer service representative had been watching my order, and it was now in stock and ready to be delivered. So, for a 4th time, I rearranged my schedule to be available during the 2 hour delivery window. On the day of the 4th scheduled delivery, at the scheduled delivery time, I received a phone call informing me that the item arrived damaged to the warehouse and they were unable to deliver it, and, just in case being blown off four times is not enough, it is now out of stock until August. I have so many issues with the way Crate and Barrel has handled all of this. #1. Why do you make customers call and wait on hold for your mistakes when an item is not going to be delivered? Time is our most valuable resource, and people have already carved out time for deliveries. All 3 of these phone calls took at least 45 minutes of my time for me to explain the situation, and wind up with any sort of resolution. The least you could do in these situations would be to call the customer yourself instead of making them wait on hold. #2. On all FOUR occasions, I was not informed that my item would not be delivered until the exact time of my scheduled delivery. If the items truly arrived damaged, you would have known that long before my scheduled delivery time. I'm a busy woman with a busy life and my time is valuable. I have now set aside 8 hours of my life to be available for deliveries with nothing to show for it. #3. When I have asked the customer service agents how I will be reimbursed for my time and this repeated inconvenience, they tell me that it is their policy to wait until the item is delivered before offering reimbursement. IF I receive my order in August, which I'm not holding my breath for, Crate and Barrel will have had a few thousand dollars of my money for over three months that I could have used elsewhere to either actually get the item I ordered to complete my home, or invest. I did not intend to give Crate and Barrel a free loan with my money. I am so disappointed with Crate and Barrel. This is the kind of thing I would expect from Walmart, not from a high end furniture store. Do better, Crate and Barrel. The only reason I gave 1 star is because I couldn't give 0. read more

I'm a big fan of Crate & Barrel and had something completely different pictured in my head prior to going to the outlet store. It is set back in a tiny plaza and the store itself is small. I was expecting it to be like s typical huge outlet center. Oh, well. I have visited here 3-4 times and have only made a purchase on two occasions. Decent deals but nothing I would rave about to others. I suppose it is one of those stores where it is a complete hit or a complete miss. As someone who has spent a significant amount of time in Crate and Barrel in the recent past, I was excited to check out the outlet store. As mentioned in other reviews, the outlet was a little smaller than I expected. Who am I kidding; it was a LOT smaller than I expected. Walking in I did not know what to expect considering the outlet was smaller than the most of the full price stores I've visited. I was pleasantly surprised by the inventory they carried. They tend to carry the more basic necessities such as cookware, place settings, eating utensil, glasses, etc. While I did not see many seasonal items, most of what I did see did not match the current season. That said they did have several very nice patio umbrellas. Considering I found what I was looking for (picture frames) and along with a few things I wasn't looking for (some very nice red wine glasses) I will definitely return in the future to check out their inventory. read more

I am a big fan of Crate and Barrel and had no idea there were outlet stores! Eric R. and I were heading to the mattress outlet when I saw the Crate and Barrel outlet and we immediately turned into the parking lot. There are lots of seasonal items (like ornaments and menorahs) but also furniture, flatware, serveware, fabric, linens, decor... We walked through the whole store, ending up in the middle where furniture was displayed. We saw several sturdy wooden tables with a leaf but for some reason one was marked really low, so we asked an associate why it was cheaper than the others. He explained that the furniture is often a floor model from a store, which is given an outlet price. For each week it sits in the outlet, it is marked down further, until it reaches a final sale price (no returns or exchanges). The final sale price is 70% off (this was marked at 75% off though). The table really "spoke" to us, but we don't live in Dallas so we had to call some family members to make sure we could get the right vehicle to pick it up and a place to store it. After that, we purchased the table for the super low price (and it is still for sale at full price on crateandbarrel.com), signed a waiver that said if we do not pick it up within 7 days, they charge a $25 restocking fee but will refund us, and then went to swap cars with someone. We came back around to the loading dock where 2 gentlemen helped load the table (we had to take the legs off). I am still amazed at how affordable this beautiful table is (can be used as a dining room table for 6 or with leaf 8, or a helluva desk! I bet if patient enough, one could find some amazing deals by waiting for markdowns here. Great service too. read more

I love Crate and Barrel, so I figured I would check out the outlet when I was in the area. The space is smaller than the typical retail stores. Like most outlets, if you are willing to hunt and gather, you will leave happy. If you are looking for this season's latest items, you will probably not find them. They have a decent selection of basics like wine glasses, and serving platters. I saw a couple of Thanksgiving themed items, as well as fabric. They also had some random furniture pieces like a hutch and a buffet. I am not sure how deep the discount was on those, but they may be exactly what someone is looking for. read more

One foot in the door, and I broke into a smile-- platters, bakeware, glassware, and random kitchen gadgets you don't actually need (and pillows and furniture, but that stuff is boring. Ho-hum :P), what's not to love about this store?? As an outlet, their prices are definitely marked down compared to the non-outlet Crate & Barrel. I left as a happy kiddo with 4 plates, 2 cute spice/mason jars, a sieve shaker thingy-ma-jigger, and a bamboo tray for a little less than $40. ^o^ Whee! Service was friendly and they all seemed to love what they do, always a plus! Cheese boards, Dutch ovens, fancy paper plates, cupcake stands... So much to see, and I want them all! There seemed to be a lot of leftover stuff from Halloween, Christmas, and Independence Day, but it was fun to browse and guess it's never too early to stock up ;) If you're into Williams & Sonoma, you might want to check this place out. Hello! If you'd like to shop at a store with great merchandise and meet some really nice, professional employees, then you need to go to this Crate & Barrel outlet. I believe it's a compliment when they know you by your first name when you go in, I do go there a lot because I enjoy talking with the employees and discussing merchandise and buying whatever I must have. They also will take the extra step for customers; As an example, I had lost a gift certificate that I earned for purchases and when I found out about the loss, The certificates had already expired to my dismay. The last time that I went here last week, I mentioned my problem & my stupidity for losing them and the next thing I know my issue had been corrected because they believed me and they wanted to show good fortune; this is the way I look at it. I've been going there long enough to know Mary and Charlie the most but everyone that works there has always been awesome. Now Mary and Charlie may fuss at me for directly mentioning their names, but I only do this to show that they know their customers well and that customers like me really appreciate them and as I continue to go back more and more. We were expecting a store much bigger than this but it was ok. Like any true outlet it is really hot or miss when it comes to finding what you want. I wish some of the made for outlet items were moved out to make more room for furniture. It's definitely a tight squeeze in this place. Prices are pretty good on furniture if you can find something that is not already sold. We found a beautiful chaise but it was already sold. Some pieces are damaged but they will mention it on the tag. The salesperson said it was visual inspection and not a thorough inspection so keep that in mind when buying things. Check everything as it is final sale! Helpful and very polite employees as this store. If I were closer I would check it out more often. The longer the item is at the outlet, the bigger the savings and Mark downs happen once a week. All in all I think if you are in the area it is a good place to stop in. You just might get lucky and find your dream furniture at a deep discount! read more

We had a great experience at this location. They have a variety of the Crate & Barrel brand products including furniture, kitchen tools, table tops, patio sets, and wall decor. I noticed that the dish ware and class seemed to be about the same price as the main store. We were able to get a dining table that is currently on display at the main store for over 70% off retail. There were some Wustoff knives marked down, about 10 different table tops if you are more so the DIY type. Their patio furniture was from this season and was 70-90% off. Of course some of the sets were missing a chair, but if you wanted to complete the set you could buy the missing piece online since it is from this season. Even paying full price on the missing piece, you are still saving a great deal. The staff was very helpful, they let you hold the item there for 7 days after purchase. The staff loading the furniture was prompt and helpful. They mark down every Saturday I believe so it is worth going on the weekend. read more

This outlet location is great. There are some good deals to be had on furniture, and although you can web search alot of clearance and outlet items on the crate and barrel site, it's great to see some of the products in person. Also often times there are chairs, couches, and sectionals here that never get sold. Most of the times we have the stigma that designer brand outlets are seconds that were damaged or have inconsistencies in the pattern or upholstery. Many of these products were samples, floor samples, or simply discontinued items that never left warehouse storage. They get new things during the week so its good to check weekly or to call in if you are looking for something specific. We ended up buying 2 couches here that was saw last week, they were able to give us plenty of information over the phone. read more

The C&B Outlet store is pretty awesome. You can pick up discounted furniture, rugs, fabrics, a utensils for entertaining. One time, I scored some high pile shag carpet samples for $1 each (my puppies were super grateful for them in their sleeping areas). I just discovered the super discounted back room the last time I visited. I found a huge retro decorative pendant light that would have been perfect in my fantasy home for $19. A mustard colored side table was on sale for $25 and they had an assortment of rugs on sale for $99. The only thing that would make this place perfect is if their employees paid more attention to all their customers and not just the ones toting a Chanel or Louis Vutton bag. Basically, the staff there is completely inattentive and was not helpful whatsoever. Aside from that, it's an awesome place to shop and find some neat, trendy housewares. read more
