Service from Michael at the Spring Valley location and Rita in Plano was fantastic. It's genuinely sad that employees like them will be losing their jobs. We shopped over Memorial Day weekend and found several great deals, though we also passed on a few items that didn't quite feel discounted enough yet. A quick check back just a few days later showed inventory is pretty thin. We're looking forward to enjoying our new furniture in our new home.

I have always loved Weirs and been a customer of those for all of my adult life (bought my first bedroom set from them at 18). Honestly, I have seen better sales while they were in full operation. It seems though the signs said discounts up to 30%, most of what I saw was only 10% off so it was hard to see the value in that. The service was good. It's sad to see good people losing their jobs. I did tell a few people who really demonstrated good service about the fact that the company I work for is hiring. There are still a lot of nice pieces left and several high end mattresses at a fair price, so if you are in the market it's probably worth the look!

Within TWO HOURS of placing the order, my friend casually mentioned she had already received the exact same tray. No big deal. I thought: canceling an order that hasn't even had time to leave the building will be simple. So on that same Saturday, I used the CB2 chat feature and asked to cancel it. The agent asked me to hold while they contacted the warehouse. I waited ten minutes. They came back and assured me the order was being canceled and that I would receive a confirmation email. I did not receive a cancelation email. Instead, I received an email saying my order was "being processed." This means that agent lied to me. I initiated another chat that same day to clarify. Again, I was told they were able to cancel it. I learned later that this agent lied to me too! On Sunday, I received an email that the item had shipped. I was freaking out and furious. At this point, I realized I had been lied to by multiple agents. I called customer service and explained that I had attempted to cancel within two hours and had been assured, more than once, that this purchase was canceled. I expressed that I shouldn't have to pay to ship this item back. To their credit, they emailed me a prepaid FedEx label. When the tray arrived, I took it straight to FedEx. That was a week ago. Today, I checked on my refund. The automated response kindly informed me that refunds "typically take 2-3 weeks after the item is received," and during busy times can take up to 6 weeks. You cannot convince me this isn't intentional. Retailers know many people don't follow through on returns. They also know plenty of customers don't obsessively check their credit card statements. The longer the delay, the better the odds someone shrugs and moves on. This doesn't feel like customer service. It feels like a strategy. And judging by the consistent negative reviews about their in-store and online experiences, this seems less like a fluke and more like a business model. I will absolutely never purchase from CB2 again.

I had called ahead and talked to someone about a particular couch I was interested in. The young man on the phone was super nice and helpful and professional. When we went into the store, everyone was wearing masks and they took temperature checks. While I didn't find anything that day, I ultimately came back for the dining table I had my eye on. Again, they were super friendly and helpful. I was able to make the purchase and set up a delivery for the next week (which I was so surprised since other stores seem to have so many delays due to Covid). The young woman helping me was very nice and helpful. They called and texted the day before delivery and I got a call 20 minutes prior to them arriving. Every single person I talked to on the phone was polite and personable (which I feel is a dying art these days). The delivery guys showed up on time and put everything together super fast. I definitely recommend them and I'll be buying more furniture from them soon.

So, in the event you have a catastrophic even, likely you will have to change because you will not be able to duplicate your choice. i had that issue, wayer damage, and to keep from starting all over, I wanted to only replace what was damaged to keep what i have and love. Chewy, Annabelle and Chris at the Mansfield Tx store were amazing, very helpful and tried to do what was within their job descriptions to help but, F&D policies, process and procedure are not consumer friendly, not consistent with what is stated, promoted on their website consistentl. To make a king story short, they found the "discontinued" flooring in three (3) different states, $450.00 for the flooring, and shipped BECAUSE THEY DON'T SHIP... charged $450 per store for over $1,200.00 for Shipping. Highway robbery and raping their customer. I ONLY did so to save time. However, I still need flooring for four (4) other rooms and F&D manager would rather loose money, approximately $2,000 or more in sales, than expense the freight. Hell, they didn't bother to send the product back to main warehouse to ship to a store. Want that money... bottom line, they lost money. The store manager wasnof no help, so he can keep working hard and if I were you, be careful and spend your money wisely... else where.
