This showroom has some of the most unique pieces in the Design district…read more I am sourcing products for several projects coming up and found some beautiful contenders here. The staff is extremely friendly and checked on me multiple times during my visit. They have a wide variety of furniture from living room, bedroom, outdoor to high end cabinetry. Truly some unique and show stopping vignettes set up throughout the showroom. If you are looking for unique one of a kind pieces, be sure to check them out!

Fantastic furniture retailer of some of the best names in designer furniture and lighting. The…read moreservice is impeccable and the inventory is varied and well-chosen. Their warehouse sale is phenomenal and working with Jud and everyone at Scott and Cooner is a true pleasure. They provide excellent customer service that is attentive and very respectful of the customer. Dallas should be proud to have such an establishment. There is no need to travel to Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany and other countries to browse the kinds of furniture that are rather difficult to find in the United States.

Uncommon Market and Lighting - Tiny flags made out of fabric almost like appetizer size flags, but very detailed. Yeah that gold is a heavy metal about 3 inches long.

I stumbled across Uncommon Market after reading an online recommendation, and I'm really glad I…read moredid! This place is super cool; I was hooked from the moment I walked in the door. It's a giant warehouse packed full of high-quality, unique antiques, building materials, knick knacks, and almost every kind of home decor you can imagine. The owners have spent the last 40+ years collecting almost everything imaginable from across Europe (and some from the US). They have everything from antique tables and chairs to carnival tent decorations. They have a ton of beautiful 19th century armoires, even a massive shelving unit from behind the counter of an 1880s grocery store. You could spend hours wandering around in here just taking it all in. Of note, some of the items are obviously refurbished (they look freshly painted or just too clean to be 100+ years old), but they have a lot of older items as well. As you move to the back of the warehouse, you'll see their massive outdoors section, with vases, tiles, massive doors, etc. They also have an entire section of old luggage, a room filled with random knobs, hinges, and other hardware, and a library filled floor-to-ceiling with old books. The pricing on most items was very fair considering most of the items are genuine antiques. For example, many table sets (including 6 chairs) came in around $1500 or so, with tables for $600-$700 by themselves. There is something here for all price ranges, from a few dollars to tens of thousands, whether it be a 1930s movie projector or some art deco tiles. Overall I thought the pricing was great for what you get. Even if you aren't in the market to buy anything, I highly recommend spending an afternoon just wandering about Uncommon Market.

As everyone reading this knows, it's fantastic that all the shops we once frequented before the…read morepandemic are once again open for business. In case you aren't aware of uncommon market, they are a purveyor of everything old and unusual from Europe. They definitely have something you can use to decorate your home, cabin or use in an art/crafts project. Gifts, yes. I've bought several here. Go, check it out!
