We sent a deposit for our order in early February 2024. They told us the lights would be ready in 6-12 weeks. 24 weeks later they finally said that our lights were ready and shipping would be 7-10 days. We sent the remainder of the balance to them in early September and we were told that the lights shipped on September 19th and would take 3-4 weeks!! After we complained that they told us it would be 7-10 days they said they would rush ship it in 2-3 weeks. 5 weeks later we finally received our shipment and only 4 of the 21 lights that were ordered were in the shipment. They told us that the truck wasn't big enough for all of the shipping crates! That is absolutely ridiculous as we receive kitchens for 16 apartments in 1 truck. We still don't have any information on when the remaining 17 lights will be delivered. On top of all of this the price was astronomical. We expected exemplary service for the prices we were charged. We ordered a chandelier for our new house while it was under construction. The company was aware of this when the order was placed and paid in full. Now that it is time to install we find incomplete directions (the diagram does not look like the frame we received), missing pieces, and a defective design. We called and spoke to the technician who advised our installer to "go to the hardware store" that they were "sure we could find some pieces that would work"! I am appalled. Plus I am sad, because I loved the fixure. I could not be more disappointed in the horrible customer service and quite frankly, defective item we received. Moreover they do not stand behind their work, are refusing to accept it as a return, citing time elapsed from date of purchase, which is disingenuous to say the least, since they knew it was a house under construction. They have even threatened lawyers! BEWARE, product not as advertised, incomplete instructions, horrible customer service and will not stand behind their products. I found the glass murano chandelier from a picture on Houzz and pretty much obsessed over it. I was able to locate it on Etsy to purchase. Alan Mizrahi Lighting Design is as good as it gets. They communicated promptly each time I messaged them. The initial delivery was delayed but once the day came, they were on the phone with the shipping company multiple times to nail down the time they would arrive so I wouldn't miss the delivery. They also worked with me on the pricing. We did have a professional install the chandelier because the install instructions were a little unclear to us as inexperienced people and wanted to make sure it was completely secure. I am so happy with the chandelier and have already had a friend of a friend want to purchase one as her own. read more

We ordered four lights from Alan Mizrahi. I was concerned initially that many of the lights appear to be knock offs or imitations of other designers. We ordered these lights because we liked the ability to customize the size and the colors, which you cannot do if you ordered from the original designer. While the quality is really nice, the ordering process and the delivery issues are really problematic. I ordered finish samples originally for each piece that we wanted so that I could make sure the metal finishes coordinated well together. Once I placed each order, someone emailed me for 2 of the 4 lights asking me to confirm my color choice with a photo of the finish. The photos they sent me were completely different than the finish samples that I received and in one case was a completely different color than what I had selected online. I had to send them a photo of the finishes that they sent me to explain that they were sending me the wrong thing. All of my items took much longer than the advertised lead time. I received zero information about transit-- no estimated delivery date, no tracking numbers and no carrier information, just a note saying they had shipped. I asked repeatedly for information about when my item would arrive and how I could track it and was told that they weren't able to give me that information. My last light shipped several weeks ago and I have no idea where it is or if it is lost or held up in customs somewhere. We have not moved into our home yet and live out of state so it is a huge inconvenience for us to have no idea when to expect these lights. When a signature is required, you would think that sending tracking information would be the minimum a company could do when you are spending thousands on lighting. read more

Ordered a dual bespoke spiral crystal light with LED strip for lighting. Approx 2.5m long. Also 3 copper kitchen island pendants. The lights were delivered to the UK on time but delivered to billing address. They however paid to have redelivered to correct delivery address. Purchased The Boule de Crystal Chandelier & matching wall sconces for our Living Room & Foyer, and purchased the Odeon chandelier for our Dining Room. I was gonna buy these chandeliers at Restoration Hardware but RH didn't have the Odeon in the Burnished Brass finish. Fortunately, we found Alan Mizrahi Lighting on the internet. Not only do they carry the same exact chandeliers as Restoration Hardware, they even carry the same chandeliers in colors that RH doesn't have. So....we took the plunge and purchased these items from them. Their prices are also better than RH and they have FREE Delivery too! It's really a no brainer! I was hoping that when these chandeliers arrived, that they would be & look exactly like the RH chandeliers and much to my delight, they are! Unfortunately, the Odeon crate got damaged during delivery. We were not able to open the box until we were ready to install them at our new house which was a few months later. Also, once they were installed, I did not remove the foam covers for the crystals since there are still a lot of construction being done at our new house. So, it took a few months before we were actually able to unveil the new chandeliers. Much to my disappointment, 36 of the Odeon crystals were damaged. I immediately contacted Mizrahi and sent them photos of all the damaged crystals. They immediately sent me replacement crystals and not only that, they even sent me a few extra pieces! I am very pleased with Alan Mizrahi Ligting Design! Not only do they carry beautiful lighting fixtures but most of all, they provide EXCELLENT customer service! They are quick to respond to e-mails, they are all EXTREMELY FRIENDLY and they provide STELLAR customer service when resolving issues. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company! After falling in love with a gorgeous chandelier that was entirely out of my price range, I could think of nothing else and searched until I found Alan Mizrahi. I was understandably hesitant at first, given the intricacy of the design and the mixed reviews. A sales associate contacted me immediately; I sent photos of my dream lighting with ideal measurements and they returned the same day with an estimated cost (literally 1/10 of the price of the original). If you are looking to do this, I would suggest being extremely specific. Tell them exactly what you want before production starts (down to the type of bulbs, wires, canopy plate, finish, absolutely everything), and ask for design photos before you put down an initial payment before production begins. Once the light is complete, ask for photos from all angles. If there is anything to be fixed, discuss this immediately and again ask for photos once they complete the changes to make sure you're happy before final payment and shipping. I ordered my awesome chandelier when I wanted that "Restoration Hardware" look without the Restoration Hardware price. It's gorgeous. In the beginning, when I was trying to figure out which one would look the best in my dining room, I sent photos over to the Alan Mizrahi team and they helped me by sending over photos of 3 chandeliers that they believed fir my budget and my design aesthetic. After the chandelier was received, we realized we were missing a component that would help us hang the chandelier. Our electrician provided it and spoke to the Alan Mizrahi team about what he had to do. The team reimbursed me the money immediately. From start to finish, they ran as a class act.
