I don't expect too much from Dollar Tree, but I was appalled at the overall cleanliness and upkeep of this store. There were boxes everywhere, dirt and clutter all over the floors. Compared to the other dollar trees in the area, I think this one is pretty good! It usually is pretty well stocked. I tried going to another dollar tree to find a specific item. I couldn't not find it at that location, so I went to this dollar tree next, and they had what I was looking for! Never had any problems with the staff here. In fact, they have helped me find things that I was looking for before without me even seeking them out to ask for help. Anytime I come here and get something I feel a bit accomplished getting an item for a fraction of the price I would have spent buying it elsewhere. read more

Went to grab some items for decorating gingerbread house. We were in need of candy and they had a nice assortment of holiday and regular items that would work. Even at $1.25, it's still cheaper than most other stores for candy. Since the items were not going to be consumed, I didn't need to worry about looking at expiration dates. It's a Dollar Tree, so you have to set realistic expectations. That said, living in Aurora, there are some really bad Dollar Trees around but this one is usually well stocked and has current items. I've rarely experienced a long wait at the cashier line, either, which is pretty unusual. This is, in my opinion, the most reliable Dollar Tree in the neighborhood. read more

It's a dollar store, therefore I do not set the standards bar too high. I like it for the craft supplies and some of the cleaning products. I don't dare ask for help, the employees will think you're asking for the universe. All the employees appear to be miserable and look as though they are being slowly tortured. I go in for the cheap supplies, not for a social experience. Check out sucks, plan to wait 20 minutes. Oh, if a customer needs a Balloon or thirty, no other cashier comes up, you will wait and you will like it!! Ugh, this is one janky Dollar Tree! I mean, you really can't expect cleanliness and pristine aisles and displays when you go to Dollar Tree but take some pride in your store, DT! I love Dollar Tree for cards, cleaner and gift wrap and found myself here on a Sunday morning right after they opened (really this is a sketch strip mall, especially now since the Safeway has left and I wouldn't come here at night). The entire store was in disarray, staff nowhere to be found and it was just dingy. When I finally was up to check out, I had to listen to a staff members diatribe on her gallbladder. I love dollar tree but hate going into this location because of one employee in particular. I go every Sunday morning to pick up newspapers and the cashier that works Sunday morning seems to find a problem with something that I do every single time. The first time she scolded me for standing towards the end of the register (she was blowing up balloons so I stood there because I didn't think she'd be able to see me if I stood down the lane), the next time she started to get on me about where the basket goes even though I had just picked it up to take back to the front, the third time she yelled at me that we're only allowed 3 newspapers even though I was picking some discarded ones from another customer up and trying to put them back - I was trying to help. This last time she got mad at me because I left my items in the basket on the belt instead of taking them out (I would have happily removed them for her if she had asked without yelling at me, if that's what she would prefer, since lots of times at other locations I'm told by the cashiers to just leave it in the basket). I told her she was disrespectful to me every week. She turned off her light and left even though there was a line of people, forcing another employee to come take over. I feel bad that she's so miserable to have such a bad attitude but it's getting to the point where I'll drive out of my way to go somewhere else than to get the negative energy from her, every single time I come in, no matter what I do, over minor things...like she's just looking for an opportunity to be nasty and find a problem. read more

Literally the rudest people work here! Like they never have good days. Every time I come back it's the same attitude from everyone.

This Dollar Tree used to be great - well stocked, clean, friendly. Sadly it is now a pit. What happened? Did the manager change? Please save our Dollar Tree! Bring the former manager back or hire someone who will do the job correctly. Employees are still friendly and try to be helpful but it's hard for them to find anything in those mile high stacks of unpacked boxes everywhere too. There's no room to push a cart down most isles. This is by far the WORST dollar tree I have ever stepped foot in. I went in this place months ago and the whole store was in shambles. Today I thought I would give it another shot. That was a mistake. The whole store is in complete disarray. There are boxes in front of basically every single isle. Making shopping nearly impossible because half of the store is covered in clutter. This is not a clean Dollar Tree by any means. If you want a good dollar store go to the Dollar Tree on Gartrell. 100 % better. read more

OMG, this place is a mess! Product everywhere in the aisles...carts with un-opened product on large dolly's all over the place. More product on the floor than on the selves...yuck! And it has been this way for months. I've shopped here since they opened. I won't go back after yesterday. The folks working there are great but overwhelmed at the mess. So sad. read more

This location is very dirty. There are items all over the floors and nothing is ever stocked. To me it just looks like the staff is lazy and doesn't feel like cleaning up. If you're looking for adventure while you shop this is the place!! You will be able to jump over rows and rows of boxes, balance on your tip toes while reaching for the product you want that's being blocked by boxes & the best part trying to get down an isle without stepping on products and yes more boxes. It would be ok if the employees were a little nice about it but they are so defensive like how dare you expect to go to a store to shop without an obstacle course. Nope never going there again!! I can't even give this a star. I was shocked to see boxes everywhere and in the middle of the aisles, unable to even get through, items all over the floor and previously hanging items all over shelves, can't get to what you want because there are piles of things on top of everything. It looks like a Hoarders house only it's a store. I was finally able to pull an item off of a wall and pay for it and get out but I will never go back. This is an accident waiting to happen. The boxes could fall on a child or anyone could slip in the mess and a lawsuit would be probable. It's hard to believe a store could do business in this manner. Please clean up your mess. read more
