She needed some baking tools so we went in. Lots of fall items and they even have Christmas on sale already. Crazy! Their Sanrio items are varied and plentiful. I want everything! An associate stopped stocking and walked us to the baking section. He was friendly and helpful. The main brand of baking tools were on sale so that was awesome. She bought some icing tips, decorations for cupcakes and cakes and some glitter balls. Good prices. The cashier was also friendly. She checked that the items were part of the sale before ringing them up. We will be back to look at the Christmas items. read more

This is a huge store - well stocked, nice staff. We've had great service in the custom framing department. The store is set up so that you end up walking all over because some products "could" be in more than one area. I think this is a Hobby Lobby thing though, not in the control of the local store. I don't mind if I have time to browse. read more

I do not get many chances to visit stores like this but when I do, I stop at Hobby Lobby on Parker and Main! Plenty of parking, very clean and brightly lit store as you can see on my photo. I probably recommend switching over to LED. Came to look for few items for coming spring and finding few more to add to other needs. Hello to fellow patrons of this particular store. My wife and I go shopping here as they have many items that they offer at reasonable prices. Last week we needed to return at item and we were shocked as soon as we walked into the store and was met by the manager. He greeted us with saying "What do you want"? Not very friendly at all. Thats not how you greet a customer. Then he left us without saying what he's doing. After 15 minutes of waiting an hispanic lady approached us. She indicated that this item (sewing machine) was not refundable and there was a sign indicating no refund. Then we were accused of taking the sewing pouch. When we brought the box back yes it was opened but it was obvious that the machine was never taken out and could it be possible that was a manufactor error? I will give her credit for making an exception. This old manager needs to improve on how he greets and treats cutomers. Perhaps he should retire. In this hard economy all businesses should be accountable on how they treat ALL customers. Needless to say, as a former manager for over 20 years this complaint will be forwarded to corporate. If any of you have had a similar bad experience at the Parker location specifically with this manager dont hesitate to complain but more importantly send your complaints to corporate as well. read more

Love their products! But one worker was being treated poorly by management. They were yelling at this teenage boy to sweep and when he said he was already doing this they kept giving him attitude. Like so many other people before me, the staff is not friendly. It's very not unusual to come across one or more curmudgeons. Today I had the pleasure of coming across 3. Yay! Ordinarily Hobby Lobby is a 3 star experience. However today is different, and I'll explain shortly, first I want to give a shoutout. I would be giving it 1 star, but the cashier, Victoria, was very pleasant and helpful. I hope she plans to stick around. Maybe she can educate kindness in a store that is supposed to embody kindness. Besides that, the reason for my poor review is this new fangled idea that hobby shops should no longer be hobby shops. I found out just yesterday that Hobby Lobby's plan is to decrease craft supply and replace it with seasonal and home goods. Michael's and Joann's has already been doing this, but with names like Michael's and Joann's, they can afford it. I won't be shopping there, and haven't for a long time, but at least they don't shout HOBBY supply as Hobby Lobby does. I am sorely disappointed in this move and I don't believe I will be shopping with Hobby Lobby too much in the future, especially if it gets as bad as Michael's has. read more

I respect and appreciate the morals that Hobby Lobby lives by, however it is clear the management staff at the Parker location did not get that training. The manager I dealt with today (I will not say her name but hopefully upper management knows who she is) has no business being a manager, at Hobby Lobby, or in retail period. Even if the store is "right" there is a way to go about things, the clerk was doing a great job at that, and the manager walked right up, pushed her aside and took over just to show her power. Treating people properly should come natural, so she made a point to go the exact opposite way. We have gotten all of our framing done here and my wife buys everything for her school here, but we will never step foot in here again. Thankfully there is a Michael's in Parker as well. read more

The staff was less then friendly as I asked to exchange something I realized was broken after getting to my car. I came right back into the store and asked the lady that rang me up if I could get a different one. She then turned around to another cashier to whisper something about my request to exchange the broken decor , which led the other cashier to look over at me. I waited patiently as the new cashier then spoke to another employee , whom then huffed and puffed over To who I assume was a manager , older women . I then asked if there was a problem as they all continued to whisper and glare at me. The older women finally came over and asked to see where the product was broken and said "yea sure you can get a new one" Super unprofessional and rude to be whispering and staring at me! This Hobby Lobby has a pretty good selection of yarns for needlecrafts. Hobby Lobby is my go-to place for my painting supplies. They have a great selection of acrylic professional paint, which I appreciate. I took my wedding photo to Aaron Brother's Framing inside of this Hobby Lobby, and they did a gorgeous job of framing it with a really pretty mat that makes it look a little more contemporary. Over the past year, I've visited a hand full of times. 2017 always had a line backed up for only one cashier checking out patrons. It didn't matter what time of day I went, it was a deterrent to shop for fear of the 20-30 minute wait and sometimes longer. HOWEVER, I'm writing to thank Shelley in the matting and frame department of the Parker, CO store. She had my frame done early (2 days), helped me gift wrap and helped me get it into my car. Tons of picture frames, seasonal decor, scrapbooking stuff, and the random stuff you need every so often (wedding stuff, fake flowers, etc...). It is closed on Sundays - boooooo! The worst hobby lobby ever in terms of Customer Service. As a retail manager, I'd never let my staff get away with the way the staff treats their customers at this store. I've never once had a positive interaction with a single employee at this store. The older lady with the short hair always just stands at the front of the store and glares at people as the line gets longer and longer without calling for backup cashiers -- its absurd. She even went as far as saying to a customer who had walked up with another cashiers register "no, she's closed." And insisted she get back in the long line even though there were 3 employees just standing around up front and only one register open. I'll never understand why the only register they keep open on the regular is the "customer service" counter and then make people with returns or exchanges wait in the same line as the customers trying to check products out. I don't know why keep coming here as I am consistently disappointed with the lack of appropriate customer service. Hobby lobby -- do better! read more

I always thought this place was for people older then 50 with way too much time on their hands. Apparently, I have way too much time on my hands. As soon as I walked through the automatic sliding doors I was immediately slapped in the face with beautiful dark wooden furniture marked half off the original value. After blood started circulating back to my cheek, it was then that I realized I wasn't staying in CO. And if I was, I would have walked out a semi ecstatic girl. Instead I walked out empty handed and thankful I did. Not going to lie, this store has a way of getting the creative juices flowing (if you will) as I'm an artist and can't help it. Need an amazing mirror for your bedroom? I do! Need a blank 30x40 canvas with paint? I definitely do. Yarn? 50% off. And of course, they offer the tackiest items in the world. How about a glittery shoe lamp? Not your thing? Well, how does a tin robot fighting another robot picture frame strike you? Tasteless pictures? Scentless candles? I could go on and on but I won't. I will drive all the way to this one just so I don't have to go through the mess of the rest. I actually bought my bathroom furniture from this store and it was a lower price than ANYWHERE else I had seen the same thing! Worst experience at a retail Store I have ever had. It is very clear that no one there knows their inventory. Not only that but there are a lot of employees that make it known they don't want to be there. I was buying candleholders that were clearly marked 50%, when the girl at the register rang me up she didn't give me the discount. I let her know tbr candle holder was 50% off and she started arguing with me telling me they were home decor so not 50% off. She got another woman involved and I tried to tell them that I had just bought the exact same candle holders at the location in Castlerock and they were 50% off. I also knew for a fact that they were candleholders because they are the definition of a candle holder. The 2 girls at the register argued with me until somebody looked it up online, it turned out that I was right and unfortunately the staff didn't apologize. I had asked the girl who was checking me out to not run my card because I knew they were 50% off but while the other one was arguing with me she ran my card. It was a bad experience all around and I would not recommend this location for your hobby lobby needs. read more

I love this location! They have free art classes for kids once a month and they are awesome! As a homeschooler, these classes are worth so much more to me and my son! Not only do I get an hour and a half of Me Time, but my son gets to interact with other kids his age, learn from other adults who are keenly aware of artistic studies, and bring home amazing works of art! Kudos to you for bringing art into the lives of children and just being awesome! This store is always pretty well stocked as well. While I heavily disagree with Hobby Lobby's morals and political affiliations, they are unfortunately a much more affordable option than Michael's and Joann. Generally, I find this store to be well-stocked and easy to navigate, but the employees really do not know the store very well. Several times I've asked if they know v where a product is, only for them to stare at me blankly and tell me they don't know what i'm talking about. And while this is absolutely not the fault of the employees, the store has no system for curbside or digital shopping (which often tells you exactly where in the store a certain product is) so I'm often wandering around aimlessly. The store in general is very antiquated and behind the times (the employees need to punch every item and discount in manually because I guess in the eyes of Hobby Lobby, barcodes are witchcraft or something) Additionally, regardless of how busy they are, the managers just stand around the front and bark orders at their employees like some kind of feudal lords. Generally, the cashiers are very sweet and I think it would be easier to talk to them if they didn't act like their managers were holding them at gunpoint or something. The whole store just feels very off and maybe a little toxic behind scenes. But hey, at least that weekly flyer keeps me coming back for cheap crafting supplies and candles. read more

Hobby Lobby really does have the best prices pretty much hands down unless you can get things at wholesale and even then sometimes it's cheaper if you wait for the 50% off sales. This particular store is always very clean which is nice and the framing center really does a great job and at a very reasonable price. I also love the garden section. You can get all those neat fences and signs and birdhouses that cost a bunch in a decorator store but you can pick up at Hobby Lobby for about $20 bucks (or less.) I also really like that you don't have to print out their internet coupons! Just show it to them on your smart phone.... everyone should do this because A) It's Earth Day so we should be saving trees B) My printer is always out of ink C) Even if I print it out I WILL forget to bring it with me... read more

Hobby Lobby, it's decent enough for my immediate need of art supplies. I have to shop online for most of my art supplies, The Denver area is really lacking when it comes to art supply stores. They seem to be more focused on home crafting market, than art supplies. It's not a bad thing though, I just need more art supplies. There selection in art supplies does beat most other area stores except for Meininger. Prices tend to be fair, people are helpful - but not entirely knowledgeable on use of there art supplies. Store seems a bit disorganized at times. Pro: Good selection, especially if you like crafting Con: Like items are not always grouped together, lots of searching for stuff. read more

Stores like Hobby Lobby and Michael's are great if you know exactly what you are looking for. My son and I have been working on his Cub Scout Pinewood Derby car for the past week or so. We've had to make a few trips to Hobby Lobby to pickup various things such as paint, sand paper, decals, etc. What I've learned through all of this is that you really need to research what it is you may need before going into Hobby Lobby. The times I've asked for help from store personnel it was all I could do to keep my head from exploding. While they work there I have yet to find anyone that knows anything about anything they sell there. At one point I was simply asking for some advice on model paint and was told I should go to a hobby store. Really!?! A hobby store, I'm at HOBBY LOBBY! This was followed up by the worker offering my a phone book. Anyway, all of my trips there were very frustrating. They do however have a great selection of fake flowers and potpourri if that's your thing. One more thing... If by chance you need to return something just regift it or stick it in a storage box. I think they make returns so painful that you won't bother with it. And, it worked... Now, my goal is to find a hobby store in Parker. One that doesn't smell like Cinnamon would be great. read more

The slowest service of any Hobby Lobby I have visited. While standing in line for 10 minutes 3 people set their items down and walked out. The manger seems to know quite a few customers which is great, but every time the customers would ask "how are you?" He would make a "dreading" sound as if he was completely over worked. I would hate to see how he responds during peak hours. I don't recommend going here unless you want your entire afternoon devoted to waiting in line. read more

Make sure you keep your receipt if you think you may be needing to return anything because if you don't and they are having a sale on it when you go back, you're screwed for getting all your money back. The lines at this store are always long; I don't think I've ever seen more then two checkers working at any given time. The framing department is good, other then that finding help anywhere else throughout the store is like finding a needle in a haystack. Since most of the store is on sale most of the time, if you want to purchase something that isn't on sale wait until next week and you'll probably get it 50% off! read more

Today at HL, I had a positive, friendly customer service experience. I believe the man who checked me out was named Lowell. He was attentive, wanted to make sure I found what I needed, had the correct discounts, and had concern in his eyes. I realize working retail is tough, but this guy I seemed to genuinely try in his role. I don't usually go to HL bc of the prehistoric stance they've taken towards womens' health care, but Michaels didn't have what I needed, and Lowell's impression left me with what's truly important about where you shop where you do. read more
