I popped in to purchase a birthday bag, card and some candy. I noticed that most things here were still being sold for $1.25 and the that there were not too many higher priced items like other stores. There were so many newer products and harder to find items that are often sought out. The cashiers and stockers were friendly. The freezer and fridge section was HUGE. I've never seen that at any other Dollar Tree. It was also a weekend , midday, and it was not busy or trashed. I'll be back for sure.

We wandered all around the store, and ended up with Christmas ornaments (Darth Vader and Baby Yoda), bath bombs, some stocking stuffers, Zatarain's chips, a giant bag of Hot Tamales (oops. I love them), and some other items. The store is large, bright, and clean. It's self-checkout, and you can bring a bag or buy a reusable tote. I think they're $.25 each. The associate who was working was cheerful, friendly, and helpful. There were manned checkouts in Philly, but tbh I don't remember if this store is entirely self-checkout. There's also sports equipment, athletic clothing (very small selection): thermoses, kettle bells, and barbells, as well as some yoga and Pilates stuff. Lots of phone cases and accessories. Perfect place to shop for stocking stuffers or presents. The food section is mostly snacks, but there's a decent selection of chocolate in the candy section.

I accidentally scanned one item twice and was trying to remove it when she immediately questioned me sharply. She also spoke rudely when explaining the quantity limit to my friend. I was polite throughout the interaction, so the way we were treated was upsetting. What made it more uncomfortable was that the employee continued commenting on what we were doing instead of simply allowing us to finish checking out. I normally enjoy shopping at Five Below, but this interaction really ruined what had otherwise been a pleasant shopping trip. I hope management looks into how customers are treated at self-checkout.

They have a ton of fragrances and decorations for the home, body care products, ergonomic products, and of course my favorite section, the international foods. They had both a travel size and a full size jar of lavender honey, which is something I've been looking for for years, so I had to get it. I also found this cute little teeny tiny travel-size bottle of Tajin (Because no cucumber slice, mango slice, or pineapple chunk is complete without it!), and some international snack foods that I have been struggling to find back on the East Coast. I left for the few other things as well but these are my favorites! The staff were really patient as we made our final selections and headed towards the register. They could have rushed us out, but instead they just started cleaning up and as soon as we noticed, we immediately made our way to check out. The cashier was very friendly and kind, which was the capstone on an already fantastic shopping experience. Not quite ready for the pumpkin spice everything so I moved on. There were quite a few baking pans, hostess gifts and charcuterie boards that caught my eye. Also they have a wide selection of food and snacks.I did noticed that the shelves were filled. Usually like to buy fur baby a snack too but ended up with something target instead. The major score was the soft football blanket I can't wait to snuggle up in. The line was quick and the cashier was friendly; which I tend to take notice. For that I give an extra star!
