Beware of shopping here!!!!! If you value your freedom and good name don't shop here. Indeed, a very large store. I had been coming to this store for the better part of 10 years now. I donated 10 of thousands of dollars worth of useless old junk, that I'm sure they've made countless dollars from. I use to be on a first name basis with a few of the ladies who worked there so this was my neighborhood thrift store. I been noticing happening more and more, people being accused of shop lifting, whom looking at I would have never imagined, and still can't. Once at an ARC off Wadsworth blvd, I witnessed a lady shopping with her dog, until one of the act employees approached her and accused her loudly of shopping lifting. The lady look appalled, but the employee never backed down. She denied it. Given she had only a couple item in her hand, and clearly wasn't concealing anything, I thought how in the f&@$. As if in way of an explanation to my thought, the employee looked her directly in the eyes and said, " last time you were here, you were stealing! Still looking applauded the lady asked, "what are you talking about" she went on to say this was her first time in store and that she never.... It was at this moment the lady seemed to have noticed the gathering crowd of onlookers, before she went ridged and you could see the tears in her eyes. The employee still badgering her said, I know it was you, youneed to leave, and walked away. The made her way to the door in a slow almost physically injured sort of way, then walked out of it. This wasn't the first time I'd witnessed something like this in either an ARC or Goodwill store, but this had to be the worst. Still to this day, that experience, of witnessing someone being shamed in that way publicly nonetheless, the hurt on her face has haunted me, and I had been grateful that had never happened to me, until it did. As I said I use to frequently shop here. I moved to the mountains maybe 4months ago, but when I came I town last week I made a stop at my favorite neighborhood thrift. As I also said this is a big store and I had been in there for about and hour and half. I had been shopping for not just myself but a few of the local people I gift with clothes or whatever I feel they can use at the time. So I had clothes divided into a couple different shopping bags, as was what I had been accustomed to doing, and it was my last stop, the locked cases. Someone was being helped so I patiently waited my term, and when the lady got to me, I had asked her to bring out silver necklace. It was nice of. They only had a picture of the case and she had to go back and get it. As I'm standing there, my friend walks back in here with me the whole time and he'd be in and out periodically asking me if I was ready to go because he was. Not a minute after he walked in the doors four police officers come up on his right side, grab him, put his hand behind his back, handcuff him, then turned on me and did the same. The experience was traumatic I will have to finish this another time. Thank you. read more

Take any useful item you no longer need to them. They hire over 300 developmentally disabled people, and are a wonderful bunch. I have shopped there for years and often donate items I no longer need when I go. Prices are excellent and there are discounted days for seniors, etc. Check out their website at arcthrift.com. Apparently getting a gift card here is a pretty rare occasion. Worker had to walk (quite slow I might add, hope they're not injured) to the office and get one, none are available on display, and they only have one version, no Christmas version. Plenty of parking and not a long wait in line for the cashier on a Saturday close to 6pm. read more

for being a thrift store this ARC really gouges. all their items are really expensive in comparison to all the other ARCS I've been to. Even senior day or 1/2 price Saturday doesn't really give you the savings you'd want. I don't recommend. read more

Maria and Nichol are the sweetest employees that really make the shopping experience at this store top notch. Nichol is upbeat, friendly, and seems to love her job. Maria is a supervisor that makes you feel like family by greeting me each visit. Checkout and returns are done timely and with care. Store is clean and organized. Obvious high employee morale makes this my favorite ARC store.​ read more

Warning! On 7/25/2025 I purchased a number of items. When I got home after removing the price sticker from one of them (a mug), I noticed a crack that was under the sticker. I returned to the store with the receipt, mug, and sticker. The store manager refused to accept the return as the sticker had been removed. I explained that I only noticed the flaw because it was covered by the sticker. She still refused the refund as that was the policy. I asked if their policy was to hide flaws with price stickers to make them ineligible for return. She stated that she could not help me. I called ARC corporate customer service. Left a message for Aspen at Extension 1165. I have not heard back. This has left such a bad taste in my mouth I'm not shopping here again. read more

Let me just say that this is my absolute favorite arc I've found so far! I'm an avid book thrifter and the book section, selection, and organization is so amazing. I always walk away with such great finds with the books in near mint condition most of the time! It is literal heaven for me! The prices on everything feel reasonable and it's half price on almost everything on Saturdays! So, if you really want to score... Saturdays are where it's at! I can't wait to go back! read more

One of the better ARC locations in the metro area. I have found some really great items there. It can get insanely busy on Saturday's with the 50% off 4 tag sales so be prepared but they are usually really good about having a lot of cashiers and keeping the line moving fairly quickly. Store is pretty organized and tidy. read more

The old lady at the register was explaining how she got into a verbal altercation with a customer to her supervisor all in front of me, why are you gossiping on the job about a customer in front of a customer? You would think someone that old or even the supervisor would know better. Today there was a total insane woman working there. A supervisor, she was completely disrespectful and displayed disgusting and unprofessional attitude and behavior towards me and other staff at the store. She seemed like she was already in a bad mood but we only asked for someone who could help us. We didn't do anything to warrant that behavior, and I understand that being a supervisor is a stressful position but you should never under any circumstances let the job get you to that level. Thank god there was a kind and professional warehouse gentleman there. Clearly holding the whole store Together single-handedly, he deserves a raise because he was able to defuse the whole bad experience with his kind soul alone. Walked up to the counter with a picture frame in my hand to purchase, the man scanning calls over the manager. The female manager with glasses, light purple hair, and tattoos on her arm was an absolute bitch. She peeled the price sticker off, and told me the price was not right, and it needed to be re-priced before she could sell it to me. Then she proceeded to tell me the actual price was quadruple what it was labeled, even though that's how I found the item. It's a thrift store. You get your inventory for free. Climb out of your own ass and be humble. Clock in, scan the items and go home. read more

Dont shop here. Dont even donate your stuff here because theyre greedy and will sell used things that they got for free at prices like theyre new. These paintings were originally $49.99 and thats what theyre selling them for. There was a painting behind the counter that was marked at $500, their justification? Its $1,200 retail value. This is not an antique store, this is not an estate sale, this is a thrift store, you cant put price tags on things based on their current market value. Anything with a remotely recognizable brand name, dont expect to see it at a reasonable price for a thrift store. read more

Arc is a great spot to thrift at! This was my first real time throttling, so I had a blast exploring around as I looked for a costume for a group gathering. The staff member I asked for help (Reagan) was incredible helpful and the store was fully stocked with a ton of good items--everything from books to clothing to bags to kitchen and home items. I could have spent more time there, no doubt. While I appreciated the inventory, the store itself wasn't very clean and the overall atmosphere was a tad gross--including the dressing rooms. One of the weirdest and disheartening visits to this ARC. Pull up for the "donation center," open the trunk of the car and hop out. Guy comes out and says "we don't take these things" and I am like huh? He points to a infant swing bed thing and something that hangs above it with little toys dangling down on string. We don't accept these types of items. You need to take them and put them in your car. I was just out here and you had to put them here. I said to him I don't have any kids and that sh!t isn't mine d!ckweed. F#ck this place, I won't ever donate here again. It would have been different if the guy didn't come at me accusing me of leaving stuff there. Went to a different donation center on Hampden where the donation center guy was really helpful. Will be going a little farther so I won't be accused of leaving stuff at a donation center. read more

I visited this arc store as I needed to complete some community service hours. Upon walking in I found a man (cursing and saying n word) at two women managers that had to fire him because he stole a TV. Those girls did a great job while I was there all damn day! I'm surprised at the quality of the stuff that I found at this store last weekend; I think a lot of people either aren't aware of its existence, or see a not-overcrowded strip mall and drive right on by, or only think of Goodwill. There are other places other than Goodwill that have quality stuff -- though there is nothing wrong with GW. I came here for something to organize my bathroom bottles and toiletries; I left with that, and 2 pairs of pants, and a super nice, buttery-soft dark-chocolate-colored light leather jacket - which cost me $13. I was stunned; you don't find stuff like that at the GW on either Leetsdale or the central Denver Broadway location. Not super "swarming" with people like that central Denver location either. I'm not sure why their prices have skyrocketed, but oftentimes people shop here to save money or out of necessity, so pricing something at new retail cost or even higher doesn't make a ton of sense. It's especially lame when these are donated items. We loved that we were supporting local, but it now makes more sense to us financially to shop at Goodwill who still has reasonable prices. read more

My boyfriend and I went to the Glendale location to look at books, when a worker with special needs started yelling at us. He was saying a lot of unintelligible stuff and saying that we "cant look at books." He then proceeded to yell "white!" at my boyfriend based on his skin color. which doesnt make any sense. then he came over to me, and SHOOED ME AWAY. then proceeded to yell at my boyfriend. i dont expect him to know any better and im not upset at the worker. im upset that other workers proceeded to stare and laugh at us while we were getting harassed. why wouldnt anyone say anything or help calm him down? thanks for exploiting special needs people and paying them as low as you can. f$ck this place!!! read more

Get a call back from delivery guys phone, different voice. This guy says there is no mattress, but I can buy a more expensive one sight unseen. I said no thanks to bait and switch, I'll take a full refund. They said I need to walk back over there another two miles both ways in 20 degrees to show physical receipt for refund. I'm disabled, it's 20 degrees and dropping. BUYER BEWARE! Just talked to credit card company me getting money back. Filed report with ftc for fraud and bait and switch tactics (illegal business practice). I even called back to give them another chance to either upgrade to expensive mattress for free or refund my money, and the manager who refused to say her first name, something Rodroguez, hung up on me. In reference to Iliff and Buckley: The prior store, Unique Thrift was amazing when ARC took over it turned into a debatable place. The prices went up almost three times, it smells badly and really dirty. Rude employees is just a given. Not to mention the people drinking and doing drugs outside. In all fairness to the later, that area has really gone downhill. Today I went to drop off clothing as I do twice a year. I have been driving my car for 2 years and YES even during "covid". The man will not take the box out of the back seat of the car unless I put on a mask. Really? Two windows are open already, it is okay for him to take the box out if I have a mask on but not if I don't? With my mask on it means that all my possible "covid" breath is not in the car when he opens the back door? Yet another perfect example of covid stupidity. It would be nice if the people who take in the donations could think of, just perhaps a thank you. I'll go up the block to Goodwill from now on. read more

However I was told that they won't accept donations till 12:00 even though there were people there and no reason they couldn't have taken my stuff. Moving can be a busy and stressful time and they waste my time when I make the trip there and then get turned away. This place is stupid and worthless. Employee Josh is superb! I shopped the ARC at 1515 S. Broadway recently, where there were a dad and adult son shopping as well. The son has some very strong mental issues that compelled him to yell often, "NO! nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh! NO!" Josh was in a shopping aisle at first, and gave the son a big, reassuring grin. When the father and son checked out, Josh was then their cashier--who again kept assuring with a big smile that didn't stop. What a kind gesture! What a kind man! Great job, Josh! read more

I enjoyed visiting this Arc location. I found the prices very reasonable and the merchandise appealed to me. It definitely was not the cleanest thrift store I've ever been in, nor was it the most organized. However, it was not horrible and there was no odor as some thrift stores have. This store Is fairly large with a great variety of items for sale. I didn't think the employees were overly friendly but I didn't have a bad experience either. I would definitely go back to this store again and again. read more

As odd as it sounds, I love the background music here. I can shop all day and night if I'm listening to Marvin Gaye. I go regularly for the books and they have a decent selection of what I'm looking for. Next stop, housewares. I haven't found any treasures so far, but it's well organized so they make it easy. My recommendation is to stick to the 50% off stuff (which is everything on Saturdays) and you'll do well. read more

An Allen Edmonds shoe that at the beginning of the year one could find at $7.99 is now very difficult to find one for less than $16.99. I love this store. However. during the Covid crises I would really love to see mandatory face masks to protect employees and customers. The pale request in the video I heard yesterday,,,,,basically stating they all staff are wearing them and we'd hope you do to isn't sufficient. Why not say pretty please and beg. A merchant can refuse entrance to those not wearing masks and protecting others. I'd love to see it be mandatory. Would you rather argue with a rude customer or watch an employee die? Priority should be to protect your employees, many of them at risk persons. read more

HOT DIGGETY DOG! When the Saver's in Lakewood closed, aka the Denver metro thrifter's Mecca, I thought maybe I was doomed to wander the aisles of the South Broadway Goodwill for the rest of eternity. What a sad time that was. UNTIL.... Until I stumbled upon this Arc. I'm never turning back. It's just how they say... when you know, you know. And I know I have found the one. The thrift store to rule them all and in the darkness bind them. I bought $20 of amazing hand thrown ceramics and found 19 really good coffee mugs for my best friend's wedding decor.
