Meh, I saw this advertised recently on Instagram and figured I'd visit when I was in the area. It's definitely overpriced... they get huge boxes of Amazon returns for pennies on the dollar, and resell for 4X the price they bought it for. You ***might*** occasionally find something worthwhile but a majority of the time it's things like, dollar store items that they sell for $9 (or whatever the price is for the day). Honestly- it would be more beneficial for them if they had a tiered pricing system. Because $9 for a party banner (something I can get for $1.25 from dollar tree) is not worth it! They'd probably sell more & less things would end up in the landfill, going to waste, if they could implement a new pricing system. read more

When I lived in Maryland we had a similar place near our house so I was excited to check Black Fridays out. This location just does not have as many good stuff. The prices are cheap, but the items that they are selling are really cheap too so it's not always a good deal. Most of the things that they sell are clothes, and shoes, and an assortment of random items from target. The people working here are nice. But I will not be hurrying back here. Very disorganized, wasn't expecting perfection but there seems to be no effort to avoid damaged merch, open boxes, etc. Also, don't buy food. I bought some popcorn that had individual bags and they were expired. There is a lot to look at and prices are reasonable, but employees' poor customer service ruined it for me. They started obnoxiously yelling at 6:15 that the store was closing soon. Posted, they close at 7. Then, at 6:30ish, they abruptly turned off the lights. There are exposed blades in the bins, broken glass and more dangers. To turn off the lights without warning seems like ADA and safety violations. At 6:42, they abruptly started screaming that the store was closed. Unfortunately, I had found things I liked and couldn't just leave. But when I went to the register, I was ignored for several minutes while employees chatted to each other. They were the ones harassing people to leave early, yet didn't seem to be in a hurry to actually work. If they don't like their posted store hours, just change them. It was wild to be treated like an inconvenience the entire time I was in there. read more

Just to provide an update to my previous review this place has gotten even worse the last two years. They removed their food discount so now what was once a semi decent deal is now over priced for what is definitely expired food. Who's going to pay $9 for stale chips 6 months past their prime??? It's insane, everything else went up in price and supposedly it was to get better inventory yet their stock has gotten so much worse over the last year. TLDR: if you happen find a deal that the store thinks is too good, they will refuse to sell to you. My first time shopping here I was excited to find a high-value item in the bins. I took that item and several others to check out, and the cashier called the manager over who told me according to "policy" they couldn't sell me the high value item. I asked to see their policy, I was told no. I asked where the policy was written, and was told it wasn't. The only written "policies" visible in the store are the daily prices that say everything is a set price. I then asked for a phone number or contact info for a supervisor or someone more senior with whom I could file a complaint, and was told there was no senior employee or contact info available(an obvious lie, as the woman I spoke to certainly was not the owner of the company). The attraction of shopping at a place like this is the chance you will find an expensive item for cheap; and that is how the store is advertised. But employees sort through the packages to prevent these items from showing up on the floor to begin with, and if they fail to catch an item before putting it on the floor, they will invent a policy on the spot to prevent customers from benefitting. Came at 10 on a Friday and - even tho an employee was yelling not to open boxes - already boxes were open and empty and parts of the boxes were strewn around the bins. Not much was worth 16.99 and a lot of digging was required. Food stuff was 9.99 so we bought boxes of Starbucks and Caribou coffee. Also went on a Tuesday and product destruction was even worse. But we did get a few cases of snack chips for 5-ish bucks. Check out was fast. read more

I learned about this spot about 2 weeks ago and headed over with my kiddo last Friday. Its easy to find on South Abilene. The deal is, it's a bin store. So they resell returns and surplus items they've bought in bulk from big box stores/companies. Given that, I don't think you can really predict what they'll have in stock, so it's a bit of treasure hunting! They're closed on Thursdays to restock the store. The prices change depending on what day of the week it is. It is most expensive on Fridays at $16 per item, except for clothes were are $7 per item. The prices drop throughout the week as they prepare to restock again on Thursday. With people rummaging through bins constantly, it's hard to keep it organized, but I think they could do a bit more to keep it straightened up. On our shopping trip I got 3 hoodies, a pair of pants, cute Ugh like boots, knock off Vans, and skin care items and a great cable knit throw blanket for $120. It was a great deal. I do appreciate the discounts and I know the staff trys. Would benefit if had atleast 1 employee that could communicate in English easier to avoid language barrier. At peak times is a concern of yelling and frustrated customers which is very unpleasant. There is confusion on who is checking out and who is simply looking through the bins. The stress could easily be resolved by making aisle wide enough for 3 people, 1 looking at stuff on the right, 1 looking at stuff on the left, and allow room for 1 to walk pass. I don't see how it would meet fire code as aisle often blocked by people and their bags. Adding more checkout lanes during peak times could ease concerns of customers feeling others are cutting in line.​ read more

Great deals and would love for this company to accept feedback to turn my review from 3 stars to 5. I recommend adding more space between aisles. During peak times it is near impossible to walk down the aisles. Most families are respectful of the close proximity of trying to squeeze your bag and body past them. However, there is usually arguments about someone 'cutting' or bumping into someone else. I really think wider aisles would ease the tension during peak times. read more

This used to be my favorite place to shop! I just recently started to come on Fridays at open. I always buy a box of chips for the week. This week I was getting a ton of things including a heavy mattress. The chips I grabbed were open so I folded the box up to carry it to pay w the rest of my things. As I'm paying they open boxes as usual and there's a box inside a box. I was like what is that? The guy tells me that is a little pc. He says he has one and it's pretty cool. So I was like ok cool I'll buy it then. This dumb ass lady tells me I can't buy it. Well I found it why can't I? It's not like I knew it was there or I'd have pulled it out or said something had I gotten home and there was something in a box I bought but no this lady acts like I stole the damn thing. I come here regular I'm not going to steal anything it's cheap as is I'm not about to try and steal $15 item. So looks like I can't support this place anymore. Call me a thief after I asked to purchase something someone put in a chip box I happened to grab. My bad I didn't want to dump the whole box trying to walk around with it. Find a better way to sell this junk if you can't trust people that shop here. Or don't let people open shit. I don't know but ruining it for those who are honest read more
