[This is probably my primary stock-up here]. Red Baron pizza singles here? A buck -- significantly cheaper than at above mentioned chains. If you need non-serious levels of cleaning supplies, they have those here as well. A few knock-off brands of energy drinks. Vitamins and supplements galore, and it's a *great* place to hit for Thanksgiving or Christmas season holiday candy. The clientele in this store largely reflects the price point, I am sure this outlet comes as a boon to lower-waged working folk. Cashiers are friendly and usually helpful if you have a query. You can't find everything here, but you would be surprised at what you can find. It also crushes other store chains with "Dollar" in their name like "Family Dollar" and "Dollar General" (both of which do not limit prices to a dollar and are sometimes on the level of Walgreen's or 7-11 price points). Unless you are very focused, grab a green basket even if you are there for "just 1 or 2 things"; you may end up grabbing a dozen or more items if something catches your eye as "a good buy for a buck".

Monaco Parkway and I hope to never go back. They had one worker in the entire store who was very sweet but completely overwhelmed trying to check out people and answer everyone's questions. He was a true hero and needs help at night. The store itself is extremely dirty, not put together and just not a pleasurable experience. I feel like the dollar trees really need to step it up and hire enough staff to keep the store stocked and clean.

Yesterday at approximately 2:15 PM, my husband and I entered the TJ Maxx store, as we routinely do…read moreon weekends. Upon entering, a security guard also entered and gave us a prolonged and unusual look. At the time, we did not think much of it and continued shopping. Shortly after, my husband went to the coffee section while I remained in the women's clothing area. I moved between the women's section, the juniors section, and then the designer area. Throughout this entire time, the security guard followed me closely, remaining only a few feet behind me. Each time I moved to a different section, he moved immediately after me and maintained the same close distance. At one point, I heard the security guard make a phone call, which appeared to be regarding me. His proximity and behavior made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I contacted my husband and informed him that I was being followed and profiled by the security guard. He came to join me immediately, yet the security guard continued to follow me even after my husband arrived. I then spoke with a manager to report the situation. What was particularly concerning is that many other shoppers in the store were dressed similarly to me, sweats and jackets, which was appropriate given that it was snowing. The only clear difference between myself and those shoppers was that I was the only visibly brown person in the area. The security guard's behavior made me feel criminalized and unwelcome, as though I was being treated as suspicious solely based on my appearance. This experience was deeply distressing. No customer should be made to feel intimidated, surveilled, or forced to leave a store based on race or ethnicity. This incident reflects a serious concern regarding discriminatory treatment of shoppers, particularly people of color

Daiso also has a selection of Japanese food and drink items as well. The products seem to be much better quality than other places similar to this. There is a poster in most aisles that show what prices are since most labels are in Japanese. While items are about a dollar more than you will spend at other similar type stores, Daiso was less stressful to shop in and the checkout process is much easier, as they have a self-checkout as well. Daiso is very clean and well kept with many workers available and happy to assist you if needed. Fun place to go and experience. Go see what it's all about.

The shelves were kind of bare but they just opened up about 10 days ago. I was so happy to find they have the Smile Harvest Roasted Sesame Biscuits here that I would always bring a lot of them in my suitcase on my travels to Japan and now they won't get crushed-they are so delicious! Looking forward to coming back when they restock to see what other surprises I will find. Very clean and convenient but kind of funny it is right next to a Dollar Tree because Daiso is usually called the 100 Yen Store!
