I wanted to give my husband, who is retuning form a long army stint back home a surprise, so after some deliberation I and his friends decided to redo our bathroom, and the pool room. Shipping for the tiles and fittings were my responsibility, and his friends would do the fitting and other dirty work :-) So I visited Dollar tile along with my twins, who are 2year old, and I was very apprehensive if I would be able to shop for anything, considering the kids usually keep me fully occupied and do their best to derail my shopping plans. As soon I stepped in, one of sales rep of the shop immediately came forward and offered to look after my twins while I browsed through the shop, which made me feel so relieved and light, as I could shop around without having to worry about how my kids were doing. However as I wasn't very sure of what exactly would work for both rooms, I requested for help, and immediately another sales rep came forth and asked me my requirements, and helped me go through the right kind of tiles. It was a wonderful experience, as they even suggested what color combination might look best. As In the end I was unsure between 3 tiles, they offered me trial pieces, which I could take home and check. That was really useful, as after trying I realized the tile I originally was inclined too, didn't go too well with my other décor, finally I got relay beautiful ties, that go in with my décor and look super stylish too. I placed my order with dollar Tile, and the tiles have been all set and the rooms are fresh and ready for my husband. I love the new look and m keeping my fingers crossed. This is my second time using Dollar Tile and I like them more than ever. The first time was to tile a master bathroom. I found lovely, high quality tile at a value price. It was easy and a pleasure working with Mike and I had a very positive experience. Most recently, I needed to tile 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, 3 closets and a hallway. I had to order extra tile because the tile-laying job was more complicated than expected. (I used my own installer.) Mike and Jorge could not have been nicer or more helpful, even in a pinch. Mike was totally on the ball, extremely helpful, responsive to phone calls, got my tile to me quickly and came through -- making my job far less difficult than it otherwise could have been. Also, their new showroom is sensibly laid out, easy to navigate, and I was able to find high-quality, in-stock, beautiful tile at a great price. How difficult can tile selection be, well quite if you ask me. I have been dawdling over my reflooring since last 6 months as nothing was catching my fancy, and everything was either too over the top or too simple. Just off chance i was surfing web and came across Dollar Tile. Their collection amazed me, and helped me make up my mind. I finally ordered 600 sq ft worth tiles online. Great job I assured myself, until I realized the folly of my ways as I hadn't checked the quality, I had no idea of how the actual tile would look at my home. So I held my breath for the delivery to come and see what I had got myself into. To my relief the stuff was delivered in pristine condition, and to my delight it had amazing quality and looked great in my home. So inspite of being a droll and ordering online on sudden impulse I managed to make a winning. So I am a fan of these guys. they saved my face !! :) read more

I have been researching tile stores on different websites, trying to see who had the best reviews. Just about every other website had something good to say about Dollar Tile until I stumbled across this review. Sorry you had such a bad experience. Needing the best deal around I had no other option then to visit Dollar Tile myself. I was a little hesitant after reading this review. I walked in not knowing what to expect. The people there were very friendly and they had a great sense of humor. I wasn't sure what tile to pick since I am on a budget. I didn't have a choice but to re tile my floor due to water damage. Of course I browsed through the more expensive tile (even knowing I couldn't afford it) but the staff was very patient and extremely knowledgeable. I am a florist and I run my own store. I wanted to redo my decor, to something more soothing, but within some budget guidelines, as I am running a fairly new establishment. I was looking for something to go with my flower theme. I came across Dollar Tile while looking at Internet for cheap deals for Tiles. And then I discovered that it is located within driving distance. So i visited the shop, and had lot of fun selecting some really beautiful tiles, which are easy to maintain, and also look perfect with my flowers. Very happy with the shop and the staff, even though i was on a budget they treated me very affably, and took time to explain me how the different tiles required different maintenance. I was blown away with the selection this store had. I did some painting to my walls just for the fun of it because I thought that my house needed a new feel and out of curiosity I stopped at dollar tile thinking "maybe I'll give the floor a new and improved look as well" still wondering around I have never had as good service as I had here they repeatedly checked on me made sure I wasn't lost in any shape or form. Just when I thought I was done one of their sales reps came and asked what kind of project I was doing I told her that I had fresh paint on the wall wasn't planning on buying anything just looking for ideas. We are planning to remodel our bathroom, and hence were surfing few through stores in our area, to find some ideas and the stuff we would require. Been to a few stores and got some amazing ideas, however we weren't so sure of getting everything done in our budget, as are expecting our baby and are high on saving right now. When we browsed through Dollar Tile, we found great ideas right in our budget. They even helped us save some !! We are beginning the work on our bathroom, in a week's time, and the Dollar tile staff has also assured us that they will help in getting the right fittings done. Looking forward to my new bathroom. Great place to shop for flooring! Mike was very helpful. I went in here alone with several thousands of dollars worth of tile to buy. My expectations were low and I was very intimidated by the volume of tile I needed for our new home. My experience was outstanding. Their staff was so helpful and their prices are SO COMPETITIVE!!! I did a lot of shopping around and their prices are considerably less than other home improvement stores and the quality and selection is ten times better. I went back two weekends in a row and loaded up. Very impressed. If you are looking for marble... go here. For our new garden we purchased sand, pebble tiles, and stepping stone from Dollar tile. Everything was delivered in perfect condition to our doorsteps, the sand was pristine as promised, and it didn't have any garbage or dirt. We could use it directly for our garden. Kids had a hell of time playing in it. The stepping stone was exactly the shade we had chosen, and the pebble tiles looked great. We had ordered the river pebble tiles, and their natural pebbles make our Garden look closer to nature. Great job by the Dollar tile staff. I used Dollar Tile twice for two of my biggest remodel projects. We remodeled our entire kitchen in 2012 and I purchased the floor and backsplash tile from Dollar Tile. Went back last month to purchase travertine for floors/wall/shower for a master bathroom. Both times I bought from them I was pleased with the tile and the price. It isn't a fancy showroom but they have a ton of selection and can order just about everything. Mike went out of his way to even track down the tile I used in 2012 and had a sample shipped in to make sure it was the same one, but in turn I ended up going with travertine. If I have another project in the years to come, I'll definitely be back. read more

I visited their website, and I visited their online E-bay store to see what they had available. I fell in love with the Marazzi Imperial Rust Black Tan Ceramic - we called the store we had a few questions, they stayed on the phone with us for 20 minutes, helping me and my husband, making sure we were ordering the correct item and helping us with how much we needed to buy. They were patient with us on the phone - after the phone call we ordered right away. We received the order promptly - had it installed and we could not be happier. "If you are looking to save money on your floors then I would recommend Dollar Tile . My husband and I just bought our home a year ago. The house is a fixer up and in desperate need of new floors. As newlyweds we are on a tight budget so we had to really do some shopping, the folks at Dollartile .com really took the time to help us find a floor that really worked for our needs and our budget. So I didn't buy any tiles from the tile shop, instead i purchased few buckets of sand for making a sandbox in our garden for my grand daughter. The staff at dollar tile was very gracious, they assisted me wonderfully, even though I was there to just purchase sand, they let me browse through the shop in peace, even answered my inquisitive question. I got to learn a wealth of stuff about tiles from the. It was a pleasant time spent for me. I was looking for some natural stone tiles, for my garden waterfall. All blacks looked too artificial and boring. On Ebay I came across, Dollar Tile. They had this great looking river pebble tile from Esmer. These looked quite natural and very pleasant and bright. As the store was within driving distance from my hoe I decided to pick up the tiles form there myself. The sales rep was very helpful and processed my order real quick. Even gave me few ideas about how to get the best fixing for the Tiles. I have my eye set on few other pieces form the store for my future Tile projects. read more

I was looking for some bright floor backsplash, for my kid's room. After going to a couple of store I had almost given up as the colors were all quite muted and regular. I chanced upon Dollar Tile while driving by my sisters place, as she lives in Austin. The exteriors looked invited to I decided to peek in. A walk through and I discovered some amazing colors. They have lots of varied shades and unique colors. I decided on a lemon yellow shade that goes perfect with the mood of the room. Great buy for me. We have been buying flooring from Mike at Dollar Tile for a little over a year. We are custom home builders in Amarillo, TX. My husband and I have daughters in Austin and San Marcos so we travel I-35 pretty frequently visiting our daughters. We just stopped in to take a look and purchased some tile to use in a home we were building. We have bought tile 8 - 10 times in the last year or so and have had nothing but great luck. Dollar Tile is very clean and spacious store. I had been to the shop along with my 5 year old daughter, as we are planning to do some major work in our house and I was looking through few Tile shops. The most other tile stores I had been to were congested or little unkempt, Dollar Tile was refreshing place. The display is well done, and I could easily visualize the tiles across their white display. My daughter had lot of fun running across the floor, the staff were very friendly and never tried to hold her back. I am surely going to place my Tile orders with them. read more

I was searching for just the right glass tiles for my bathroom renovation. After browsing through local tile shop I decided to give Internet a try. Got cross Dollar Tile. And they had had the perfect Tiles that I was looking for, and the prices were to die for. I immediately ordered from their website.
