Came to have a few pieces of tile cut for a small project I was doing and they were very helpful! Easy and affordable for what I was looking for and while we were there you could see they had a huge selection of tile. Buddy the shop chihuahua was also a hit and super sweet. read more

This guy has by appointment only on his door. Called asked for an appointment so I could browse inventory for a tile color scheme. He just said "Not interest, I dont want to waste my time!" Said good bye and hung up. His website says for any and all but if you aren't a contractor he doesn't bother with the homeowner trying to finish a home project. Lousy customer service and conversation. His business needs a new owner with a better customer appreciation in mind. Maybe this review will stop the next customer from having to deal with someone who isn't interested in your small projects or customer satisfaction. I will never recommend this place to anyone. If I could have rated 1/2 a star I would have but it isn't an option. Mike R. read more

The gentleman who runs the place is very abrasive and a bit suspicious. Tried several times to strong-arm me into buying the wrong product even though he originally said he could fulfill the order as requested. He spammed calls to my phone in the middle of a work meeting and wanted to charge twice as much, claimed there were supply issues and I had to make a decision instantly. My husband and I weren't willing to do that and he abruptly hung up. Was able to ship the same thing from another Texas business for half as much within a week. read more

Great selection of tile and they'll even find someone to install for you - just let them know what your budget is and Mike will steer you in the right direction read more

I have used Dollar Tile in Buda TX on two occasions for remodeling projects. I purchased floor tile and kitchen backsplash tile. On both occasions I found exactly what I wanted. Mike was very helpful and friendly. read more

Very misleading prices. Also, double check your invoice for mathematics; not sure where they get their numbers, but we got ripped off

Used dollar tile for my bathroom remodel. Tile prices were comparable to HD and install was cheaper. Corey was great. Personally handled the entire transaction start to finish and was very responsive. Kept me informed about every step of the process. Helped me find a new accent tile when the one I wanted was 3 weeks out for delivery. Arranged for instant installation...order placed on Saturday. Work started monday. Mallory, the installer, came out on Sunday to go over the job with me since I couldn't be home during the job. She did an awesome job. It turned out better than I hoped for. No hassle, no drama, beautiful results. Cold Spg in Meadows at Buda read more

Had a great experience with Dollar Tile. Outside the door our kids were a bit put-off(used to the corporate look :) ), but hey - if you want a Home Depot experience, go to Home Depot! This is a small business with a great selection. It is McDonald's vs. Magnolia Cafe. Picked out a great tile from the amazing selection and hooked up with their partner installer Texas Flooring Installers to do our expanded outdoor patio (see pics). Did beautiful bull nose for the edges and couldn't be happier! read more

Dollar Tile - Flooring Near Me - Buda, Texas

I have found the quality of service very disappointing and off putting. I do not understand why there is such a poor consideration of the customers which completely turns me off from ever wanting to work with them in the future. Very poor communication skills and they love to argue with their customers about every possible thing. It is very disorganized on top of the rude employees. read more

I cannot speak to the quality of the tile, but I will tell you that the manager we dealt with is an exceptional human being. We had an awful experience with UHaul and came to Dollar Tile in the hopes that he had a truck we could rent for the day. He treated us with compassion, generosity, and respect. He listened to our concerns and made it clear he cared that we were satisfied when we left. Purely based on this experience, I would feel extremely comfortable doing business with them in the future. read more

Not really sure why these guys catch such a bad rep. I certainly can see how they may come off a little "different". They make sure you know they have great, high quality selection and they sure do. My original tile order was delayed because it was discontinued, but they ordered a better, commercial grade replacement at no extra charge. I am extremely satisfied with my order and the service. It was pretty painless, other than swiping my credit card. They have some very high quality product and also some great, great selection. Its a definite stop for anyone making a tile run! read more

We've been to Dollar Tile many times and have always been pleased with their great selection, quality, and excellent customer service. Everyone there has been helpful and friendly every time. Their selection is amazing and their knowledge of everything they sell is on point. They go out of their way to help match materials and make sure you get what you want and that the end result is beautiful. We've purchased tile and back splash from them as well as grout and other items needed for installation. The last time we went, my husband fell in love with some tile that would have been too pricey for us, but they cut us a deal and we picked up the tile yesterday. An added bonus is Buddy the wonder dog. read more

Where do I start?? Let's just say that Mike from Dollar tile will go above and beyond for his customers. We had an issued with our floor and as soon as I called Mike, he got on the phone with the vendor to find a fast solution for my delicate situation. We explained that my mom had just passed and we were in the middle of floor installation but couldn't continue because the contractor found a defect on the floor and now everything was put on pause. Families would start arriving soon and I needed our house back to some normally. He tried his best to workout a solution with the vendor so we could get our floors finish, so I could just concentrate on the passing of my mom. Unfortunately, the vendor would not work with Mike and made things harder for everyone. Mike has been in contact with us through the whole process. After one month today, the vendor eventually agreed with the original request from Mike. Mike was sweet enough to have the floor delivery to our house at no additional cost, so I wouldn't stress anymore. I would do business with Mike again, though I would never purchase that vendor's products ever again. Thank you Mike and may God continue to bless you and your business. read more

Stay away from this place! We recently visited Dollar Tile to see if we could find a few sample tiles to take home and see how they would look as our new backsplash. The whole time we were there the lady was on a personal phone call on her cell and didn't seem to care much about anything. That didn't really bother me much at the time. We ended up picking three different tiles to take home. Two of these samples were defective/broken but we didn't care since we knew they were samples and would later return them. After making the decision that none of these were going to work, I took a ride back out to Dollar Tile (about 30min away). When I arrive there were two gentleman there, one who was washing his car. I brought the three tiles in with my receipt and the one gentleman (the owner) proceeded to tell me that we only had 10 days to return the tile and it was past the 10 days. I kindly apologized told him the lady who helped us knew we were buying them as samples which would be returned and she never said we only had 10 days. In a very degrading tone and raised voice he told me that she always tells the customers they have 10 days to return the tile. He then backtracked by telling me they don't have to tell us there's a 10 day return policy because its in fine print on the receipt (as if everyone reads the fine print). He continued his preaching by telling me they have a 500 page policy book and she can't He said the return policy is He was right though, it was there. The owner decided he would take back two tiles but the one was discontinued so he couldn't take it back. He then asked about the one tile that had a missing piece. I explained to him it was missing when we purchased it. He was acceptable to this and was going to take it back. However, he needed my wife's credit card (which I did not have with me) to run the return. A few days later my wife drove out there to return the tiles with her credit card. The owner told her he could only take back one of the tiles as the other two were broken. She explained to him the they were in this condition when we bought them and that it was her understanding the one tile could not be returned because it was discontinued. He then told her (in his degrading voice) that wasn't the reason and he wouldn't take them back because I had the missing piece in my pocket! He LIED right to her face and she knew it. It's one thing to say we have a 10 day return policy and apologize for not being able to take the return. It's another to degrade your customers and then LIE right to their face. There's more I could go into about this place but I'm sure others will share their stories as well. The point is, STAY AWAY FROM DOLLAR TILE!!! read more

Great shop with great people. Dollar Tile is always eager to help us accomplish our mission and their prices are great. They even let us dig through old and lone tiles for art projects. read more

DON'T GO HERE!! ... RIP OFF! ... these people like to argue with their customers! instead of getting the problem resolved! It's not much cheaper than home depot or Lowe's... and on top of that they want to charge you to get it delivered to their store! How do we know the item ain't already in their store? I would give this place a zero star if it was an option! So if you want to get ripped off and catch a case with these people (sarcasm) Don't think twice and get your tile at Dollar tile! read more

Mike could not have been nicer! Not only was he super helpful on our first visit, but he was also on our second and third visits. Our contractor VASTLY over estimated how much tile we needed for the job (estimated we needed 450 sq ft, when we only needed 80 sq ft). When we realized it, we immediately went back and spoke to Mike. He was so gracious and understanding, allowing us to return the tile we didn't need. We will definitely be giving ALL of our tile business to Dollar Tile from now on! #shoplocal read more

Holy Cow. Not just No, but No way. Walked in and was told just a minute. Another customer walked in and he was waited on. We were told to go take a look in the warehouse and left to look. Wow! Is all I can say regarding the attitude of the employee working at this place. Went in today to purchase some back splash for our kitchen and the person working there was absolutely unwilling to assist with picking out tile. Said he didn't mess with orders like that and we should go to Lowe's or Home Depot. Sarcastically said have a good day as we were leaving. Followed us out of the store as if trying to instigate a confrontation. Wow...is all I can say. Someone was having a bad day and should have stayed home. read more

Best deal in town. Great customer service. Wouldn't go anywhere else if your on a budget for remodel.

I've purchased tile here for several projects. Mike, the quick-working owner wants to make sure you find what you're looking for. He is very motivated to get the deal and make things happen, a trait that is often is short supply. read more

This place is awesome! We purchased tile for our kitchen here a while back and were very happy with what we got and the service. We get lots of compliments on our tile floor. Their selection is top notch too! read more

BEWARE!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! If you want to throw your money away and give it to incompetent, racists, argumentative people by all means, go here! Absolutely worst service. They were unprofessional and incredibly rude. They tried to charge us DOUBLE the price. They were the ones at fault and never apologized. NEVER APOLOGIZED FOR THEIR MISTAKE AND CONTINUED TO BE RUDE EVEN AFTER THE FACT!!! They were blaming us for THEIR mistake. If I could rate you shit bags zero stars, I would. Both the man and the woman were absolutely terrible. Here for uhaul rental and they were absolutely rude. Not to mention the racial comments made throughout the transaction! Seriously terrible people. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. read more

These guys are awesome. I needed some simple, black and white hexagon tiles. I found only a limited supply at Lowes and Home Depot and struggled for weeks on how to make this border around my bathroom with a field of white and black hex tile in the middle. I finally remembered seeing Dollar Tile on the freeway and stopped by. They were great. They knew exactly what I was talking about, exactly what I wanted and they were half the price of the big name stores. They even threw in several dirty and broken sheets for free. I went back for more a few weeks later, and same deal. Awesome guys! read more

Went I to Dollar Tile to rent a UHAUL. Truck was clean and worked well. Service was fast and friendly. When I returned, the tire had a blowout (not sure when that happened since the truck has dual tires in the back) the owner waived any fee for the damaged tire. I had to wait around a bit and started talking with Jorge and Mike and looked at the tile. Realized I am doing a home renovation and needed my son's bathroom re- tiled. Picked out great tile and got a great price. The installers are coming by tonight to give me an estimate for installation. Will update afterward on that service. All in all, a great experience. Both truck rental and tile purchase. read more

DO NOT BUT FROM DOLLAR TILE !!!... RUN !!!... I WASTED $8,000 !!! INCOMPETENT NOT REPUTABLE HORRIBLE TILE WORK !!! Had to TEAR OUT Dollar Tile/Jorge's work OVERPRICED... Home Depot was Cheaper, Better Work and Reliable !!! JORGE, the tile installer, did not supervise his workers and they installed tile with NO preparation work of any kind. The result was that tile surface had numerous HIGH and LOW spots, uneven grout lines ... Horrible ! JORGE was called back to review BAD JOB, JORGE ADMITTED job was BAD and agreed "make right" and repair. Well, after about a week of discussion with DOLLAR TILE / JORGE they refused to do anything, yelled at me and tried to blame it on me... WOW, Clearly Delusional, Con Man... take the money and run ! After spending waaaaay too long overthinking different flooring options, shopping big box stores and getting zero answers I finally took a friend's advice and went to Dollar Tile. There was zero pressure to push my budget, they explained EVERYTHING about the materials I was looking at and their prices were hands down the best I could get anywhere. I can not wait to see how my flooring looks installed and if I need any other flooring or tile work I won't go any where else. Tiled my entire house and used Dollar Tile the whole way. Corey was a big help throughout, very knowledgeable. I even had to return about 10 boxes (less than 1% of entire order) due to a manufactured defect in the tile. Dollar Tile exchanged all defective tile boxes, no questions asked! Also, I have a friend working in flooring and they could not even come close to matching the price Dollar Tile quoted. My friend quoted at around $4.50/sqft, Dollar Tile priced me at $1.85/sqft!!! I definitely recommend to anyone looking for tile! read more

Was most helpful in locating and gathering discontinued tile. Great quality tile and great service!

Customer BEWARE! The only reason this business gets one star is because Jorge the sales rep was trying to be helpful and answering all of our questions. The tile we chose was in stock and we also purchased all of the things needed for installation through them. The moment I signed my receipt, the smile from the guy at the desk disappeared and the tone of his voice changed as he declared there were no returns or exchanges accepted, I gave him a puzzled look and he told me to glance at receipt that it was clearly stated. When I got home and our installer inspected the product, the accent tiles had glue between each piece and the small pieces were not aligned (the one they showed us was perfect). The 12X24 tile even though it was in the original packaging had a lot of tile with chipped corners, and some were so warped they could not be used. I just want to advise to go to a reputable establishment where if you accidentally purchase an extra box of tile or the product is defective, they will do the right thing and accept the return or exchange. read more

Prices were lot cheaper at of Dollar Tile and quality of product was much better than big box stores. Lifetime customer!
