This Dollar General Store is like all the other Dollar General Stores with a lot of merchandise packed into a small store. It has all the things that you would think a general department store would have. It kinda reminded me of the old Kresgie's and Newberry stores that used to be in Maplewood, Missouri, on Manchester when I was a child. The store looked a little disorganized, a little junky but had lots of merchandise that was much less expensive that if you were to go to other stores that have similar merchandise.
Although I have been to different dollar stores in general, this was my first trip to this dollar store; it was similar to the Dollar General in Shelby where I go when I'm at home there.
The staff seemed preoccupied with other stuff because when I went in, there was an older couple standing at the cash register waiting to pay and leave while no one was at the cash registers. I have no idea where they were. When I was ready to leave, I stood there at the cash register waiting because no one was at the cash registers. HHHmmm. I could have shop lifted and been gone really quickly, but they also have security cameras there so that it would not be possible to get away with that. But still, I was wondering where they were and what were they doing? Maybe one of the employees should be assigned to the cash register at the front of the store all the time since there were customers who wanted to pay and leave.
