The first server that started my Auntie's order was very kind, now the second server that was about to start my order didn't go well and made me ready to leave. She didn't talk kindly and asked a weird question, however the first server greatly took over and started taking my order she made it much better. I selected oxtail, black-eyed peas, cabbage, rice and gravy, and cornbread. The black-eyed peas and cabbage tasted just like mine taste when I make it was delicious, the rice and gravey was delicious too. The oxtail was yummy and seasoned well, it could be more tender though. The cornbread was too crumbled so I couldn't eat it. I also got some butter cookies with pecans, they were too hard I couldn't eat those either. Upon checking out the cashier was so kind and included our beverage option included in our order. There was a box of Halls with a label that said Get One Free! This is a nice clean store and I definitely plan to go again to try more of the good looking food like pork chops, turkey necks, mac and cheese and greens. This is a semi clean store located off the feeder of Beltway 8 East side. After you pass a Walmart…read moreand an EZ Tag store you will come upon a shopping center and it will be on your right side. Parking is shared with other businesses and can be dodgy at times but it suffices for the easy in and out crowd. The personnel here even though they "profiled" me seem moderately casual and did not really show any ill fated work attitudes. These places are the best places to look if you are stopping in for simple things like light bulbs, tuppleware, candles, some candies (stay away from the chocolates), balloons, birthday/holiday/Hallmark type greeting cards etc. Pretty much once you've stepped into one of these stores, like a Chinese buffet, you've been to them all with the exception with a few minute articles.

Recently came during the holiday season to pick up a few items that I needed to finish my cooking- all at a discounted price. The aisles still had plenty of Christmas decorations to choose from despite it being Christmas eve-- and the aisles weren't trashed. Maybe they were but the employees had done a great job making sure the items were displayed neatly and available for purchase. Of course, typical dollar store that only has one land open for check out. If there is a line, I normally walk around and get my steps in while the line dwindles down a little. Nine times out of ten that works out in my favor to have a less wait time in line--and I find something else to buy too!

They used to have chocolate ensure ( the canned one which is like 10$ in Walmart ) which was only 3.99 in there plus frozen chicken wings which is like 8.99 in Walmart but was like 3.99 in there which is inconsistent and dissappoing and the line around 5 or 6 o clock it's expected but expect one cashier and a long ass line and to stand there for at least 15-20 minutes , at least the poor lady is working.

Her quote sounded too good to be true, but I went and met with her and seen some of the other dresses that she had made. They were beautiful so and her prices were very reasonable. So, I decided to give it a shot. I must admit it sounded wayyy too good to be true. She also told us that she could make my fiancé's suit. At that very 1st visit she took our measurements. We left not knowing exactly we were going to get, even kind of nervous. But hopeful at the same time. She was very quick, and we went in for our 1st fitting. My fiancé's jacket and vest looked great, and fit him just about perfectly at the 1st fitting. I must admit I wasn't happy with my dress at all... here's where I went into freak out mode. Yani pretty much told me to trust the process. Since I had never had a custom dress made... i did not trust the process at all. When I came back for the next fitting, I can tell you that all my stress was for nothing. The dress was almost perfect. I was like... YES! This is so much better. By my last fitting the dress was perfect. Absolutely perfect! This past weekend was our wedding. I got so many complements on my dress. It fit perfectly. You can tell it was made just for me. I am very short and it didn't drag the ground at all. At the end of the night, I didn't even want to take it off. I want to wear it again. I'm said that it was just for that occasion. Someone give me some ideas on how and when I can wear this beautiful dress again. LOL

I found Above the Curve Design on Google. It was close and the hours were perfect! I met with the owner expecting her to say she wouldn't be able to help me, especially with prom season coming up. Oh but God sent me an angel, who had my dress ready that WEDNESDAY!!!!! Yes ma'am and her prices are affordable! The owner is amazing & so nice. My dress fit perfect & looked even better than before!!!! 10 out if 10!!!!
