The store is very large and easy to find everything Customer service was great in helping me find a shirt that I was looking for on the app I was in and out with less than 10 minutes. Mom and I were visiting from El Paso for a doctors appointment and we decided to come to buy some snacks and to shop around to waste some time before my CT scan I had scheduled. When it comes to the grocery's exit on, they have a great selection of all kinds of snacks. We were also surprised to see such a good selection of fruits and baked goods! We bought fruits, baked goods, yogurts, and other snacks to have at the hotel during our stay! We also went to the toy section to check our their stock of wrestling figures and pokemon cards but sadly this time around no luck in that department! I usually love Target stores, especially Super Target. But yesterday's experience was the worst of the decades shopping at Target. The system was flaw with a grocery item. I bought one poblano pepper. Just one. It weighs 0.24 pound. It clearly says $1.49 per pound on the shelf. I took a photo to show how fresh they were compared with Kroger. Here is a million-dollar question. How much is one poblano pepper of 0.24 lb at $1.49 a pound? The attendant at self-serve rang up $1.49 each. I couldn't understand why there was no weighing required. I was staring at the screen for a couple of minutes to think a best course of action. But I need a poblano pepper for my fajita dinner. Then, I thought how much it costing me to ask for a refund. I'll just be an honest consumer to voice my concern. So, I went to customer service desk. Two helpful ladies apologized and wanted to give me $1.00 back. I told them I really don't care about the money. You can't defraud your customers when system is flaw. Unfortunately, they can't even refund $1.00 because it also rang up as $1.49 each. I was about to walk out at that moment. I spent 15 minutes over a poblano pepper, which I could have bought for 25 cents in Chinatown. I really appreciate these customer service agents went extra mile to save my sanity. Anytime I'm visiting the boyfriend in Houston we almost always try to pay a visit to this Target for running errands, crossing off a list of stuff to buy or even just for fun. We tend to always make a stop in the movies and board games section and actually picked up a really good escape room/mystery solving board game that had us trying to unlock clues for two hours. I hate to admit but I actually enjoyed being forced to think in a long, long time. I also loved coming across cute children's books like the picture I took of the titles "Dragons Love Tacos"...I mean..is there anything more cute and meaningful than that statement? This dragon is obviously going places. We also grabbed a few items from the produce and meat section to make a last-minute dinner and we were generally underwhelmed with the presentation but didn't have trouble finding anything. I refrained from grabbing anything from the greens section as the mint and basil leaves were already wilted (on an afternoon hours before closing). This Target is conveniently located close to the medical center. Staff are all following the COVID protocols and all of then shopping carts seemed appropriately sanitized. There is a great selection of books, which my daughter loves to peruse through every time we go. The store is overall neat, clean, and organized. However, the bathroom was a bit dirty when we went although this may be explained by the large number of people present. The staff was attentive and the lines moves quickly at check-out. There is also an attached Starbucks located inside. Everyone is always very friendly when we visit. Overall good neighborhood Target! read more

I love Target but this one is so unorganized. The workers don't know anything. I came for a month straight almost everyday because I asked for a specific product and when it'll be in stock and every worker I talk to kept saying "it'll be here", "I'll order it" or "it comes in a few days". No one actually knew or could tell me that it was never coming again which could've saved me time coming there 4-5 times a week. Or even if it's something out of their control don't give me a day of when it's coming when in actuality you really don't know! They're always out of stuff. Within that month of going I never seen the place fully stocked. Then when you are using certain payments they look at you like you're beneath them and don't belong. As I'm walking out of the store after purchasing a vacuum cleaner, I was asked for my receipt to be viewed. My husband and I have purchased many large items from target that doesn't fit in a bag and have never been checked at the door. This has always been my go-to Target since I moved to Houston several years ago. It is the biggest Target near me and has a CVS pharmacy I always use. I don't like the high traffic of people here, which causes some popular items to always be sold out. However, that is not really the fault of the store. The staff are nice here and always try to help. The people who work at the pharmacy are also awesome. It is usually a great time when I visit this Target. read more

My wife and I come to this Target frequently to recycle and buy groceries and household items, so I'd say we're pretty big fans! First, it's pretty easy to find the place, as it's just off of Main St. The parking lot is pretty huge, so it's pretty much a given that you'll find a spot somewhere. The Target itself is pretty standard and contains groceries, bed sheets, lamps, and tons of other stuff. The staff here tend to be fine - we had one bad experience with a cashier, but other than that, no complaints. One big plus for us is that they actually recycle! So we always bring our cans, bottles, and other recyclable products here. I recommend bringing some disposable bags to put your recycling in, though, as the bins can sometimes get quite full. Overall, will definitely come back to Target to do some shopping :) read more

I've been spending a lot of moo la la in Target recently due to their new clothing lines and bourgeois pajamas! I literally wore a pair of their pajama bottoms with a blouse and cardigan to a nice dinner and received a lot of compliments, lol. I've been into clothing that is flirty, feminine and a little more conservative and they deliver! I do feel as if Target is a tad bit more expensive than Walmart but I do frequent there because even with the grocery store additions there are never as many people as in Target so it's a more peaceful experience for me. Prior to the online ordering and curbside pick up, I didn't use Target as frequently as I do now, I buy weekly if not biweekly groceries from target and it's convenient because you can add additional things that you may have forgotten and pick up all of your items later. The rewards program is fairly simple and works if you shop there enough to get bonus and extra cash back. Very reliable service, this store itself is going through some major construction and changes which make it not the easiest to navigate inside however, still has everything the standard target has. Obviously, their clothing line is underrated. I personally have had many casual wear, formal wear that I use regularly. The quality of the fabric they use is very good which is why the charge higher than use price for department store clothing. read more

I showed up at 3:50 PM this afternoon to pick up an order I placed yesterday evening. The Associate dealing with drive up pick up delivered orders to multiple cars that arrived after me before she acknowledged me. After over 20 minutes of waiting, she finally informed me an associate had forgotten to pack one of my items and it would be right out. I thought this was odd since I'd gotten an alert my order was ready at 9:30 PM the night before. After a lengthy amount of time during which the associate did her best to ignore me while delivering other orders to vehicles that continued to arrive and leave with their items, I found out from a man who I'm guessing was her supervisor that she had lied to my face and she had actually given my order to another customer..... even though target had already charged me for these items AND has a MULTI-step process for identifying orders for drive up pick up including a) car color, b) body type of car, c) parking spot number, d) code on phone, e) code associated with order, not to mention, the time a customer says they are on their way and then the time a customer says that they have arrived via the app. The number of steps this associate had to skip to give someone else my order is honestly reprehensible. I wonder how she'd feel if Target's accounting department skipped steps and deposited her paycheck in someone else's account... Hmm... The supervisor then said I could either cancel my order or "wait and see" if the other customer brings my items back. ???? Is that really an option you'd recommend to someone? What kind of training does Target give nowadays? They offered me a $15 gift card but never once apologized or made any acknowledgment of their wrong. They had the audacity to blame the other customer for not checking their bags! In case you don't know, if you select drive up pick up in the Target app they automatically select the trunk to place your items and instruct you to not even open your window when you show the associate your code (you can select a different part of your car if you'd like, but the trunk is always pre-selected). The whole benefit of it is that it is supposed to be a very quick and no contact service. So getting out of your car to double check everything would defeat the whole purpose of the service. Unbelievable. There's literally no excuse except laziness. I went inside to try and replace the items myself, but they were not available in the size, color, or model I'd purchased. There were items in that order that I needed for an engagement this evening, and I was unable to attend said event due to your associates' lack of attention to detail. My order still has not been cancelled and I've still not received a refund. Worst customer service ever. Will NEVER use your drive up pick up service again! Your associates are liars, unreliable, and take no responsibility for their actions. read more

I love Super Target's for their wide variety of items for purchase... from food to clothes to electronics to home decor... they have it all! I like this specific location for their in-store Starbucks, clean environment, big parking lot, and nice location... there are many fast food options as well as other shops nearby, an ideal spot for all day shopping. If you are a frequent shopper, I suggest downloading the Target app. I believe you get $1 back for every $100 you spend (lol)... obviously that isn't much but it is still money back. If you're worried about covid you can also purchase your items through the app for pick up instead of walking throughout the store. Ok, I don't really frequent this Target but it's close to my work and they had what I was looking for- Paula Deen 18 piece signature porcelain cook set. The guy that helped me on the phone was so polite and courteous. Even though he couldn't hold the item for me, he did go and check the back to see how many sets they had :) And it was a quick in and out. The cashier was polite and engaged me in a short conversation. When I lived in Spring, I frequented the one in Humble and those cashiers were horrible. It was like you were inconveniencing them. And it didn't matter which line you went to - they were all the same. Definitely give them a thumbs up....and may make this my GO TO Target! read more

My first choice in basic shopping needs. Living in the area, I find it really convenient to have a Super Target in the area. There is a little Starbucks as well inside with a couple of chairs and tables, which was very convenient for me when I was in school as I used to set up camp here to actually study and plug in my laptop. If you come with a study buddy, you can have a pretty nice setup going with a full Target at your disposal while you study. The Starbucks seating area is rarely ever crowded and I hardly ever had to fight for an electrical outlet... oops, did I just let the cat out of the bag? read more

I wanted to make a curbside pick up order today but both my husband & I work late. This retailer is the only retailer around us that has what we need in stock which is the reason we want to place our order now. I tried calling the store to confirm if we have to be there to pick up our order right after our order is ready or if we can wait until later tonight to pick up our order? I called this location several times (8+ times) with NO answer! When the automated system asks if you'd like to be transferred to the pick up or delivery service line the call drops/hangs up. No Target in Houston is perfect (with plentiful parking, wide range of items, clean appearance in and out), but this Main Street location is the closest. It's usually got a wider range of stock to chooser from and they're open late. It's also easy to get to whether you're living in the Medical Center or Montrose. There aren't many registers open at any given time but the self-checkout makes up for it. It also has a Starbucks and grocery department if you're pressed for time. read more

I went to the San Felipe location with my son to order a usb controller for his SEGA Mini (also purchased at Target) and I was told twice the controller I was purchasing was the correct one. After waiting over a week the controller arrived and it was nog the right one. This was for a father and son weekend before he had to go to the hospital. I immediately wrote a message to Target via messenger via FB and to date (a month later) still no response. I was offered a small credit and told I could keep, trash, or donate the controller sent. So I made another trip to Target and a manager tried to get the company on the phone but the end result was that I would have to perform the order OVER again and wait. My son had called me every day checking on the delivery status and I had to tell him Target not only got it wrong but we're not able to correct their mistake. I've been going to Target for almost my whole life. I remember getting my toys there as a kid. But this experience has left a terrible taste in my mouth. read more

I'm so disappointed. I was in the self-checkout trying to buy wine and attendant told me I had to go to full service checkout. Really? There were only two cash registers open with a line on both.
