I'm a number one fan of Dollar Tree stores. This store particularly, it's located conveniently in the middle of a strip mall. So, I park my car in the middle of parking lot. I gain my daily steps easily. This Westheimer store used to be an OMG store. I'm glad it's improving. The merchandise are always stocked on the shelves. The cashiers are friendlier than before. Like I said, I come here just because everything is a dollar. I often stop at nearby Michaels, Xfinity Store, McDonald's and Skechers Outlet store. If I need party favors or decorating ideas, you can find me at this Dollar Tree store. It has plenty of parking. Just watch out for cars racing through the parking lot. read more

Not to be confused with Donner Tree, which has something to do with the Donner Pass and cannibalism. Ew. This is a good Dollar Tree across the street from the 99 Cent Store. Barbi doesn't like it as much as she likes the 99 Cent store but it still serves a purpose and does a good job. It's located in the same plaza as the Academy where I usually find some pretty good shoes. So it's a decent DT with some good employees too. Barbi's main issue with it is that it's not well-stocked, which is why we usually go to 99CO or other DT locations. read more

Paresh is such a wonderful employee here, she is truly great at customer service and I hope she gets a raise or a promotion because you can tell she genuinely cares about us customers. The other employees are nice her as well, I never have any issues shopping. They store is usually pretty clean for a dollar store and they have a great selection of products. My bf & i were at michaels & he asked to chexk out the dollar store. When the holidays are around the corner it sure takes a chunk out of your wallet. We often spend too much on the little ones. In the end the kid(s) will break or misplace their goodies. Sometimes I think to myself...I'm just throwing my $ out the window. But after shopping here for his niece bday gift I'm satisfied with my purchase. His niece is in the princess stage, I was in shock to find tutu, wands, dance ribbon, cheer leading poms poms & was able to find other nifty gifts for his nephew ( if u buy one kid a gift got to buy it for the rest of the gang ) I love target but if I was to buy similar items at target it would've been 3x the price, only good thing about it is better quality. As we we're browsing the store, we found a lot of useful things only for a $1! They have holiday decor & gifts, seasonal, baby shower to wedding decor and large selection on gift bags!!! Recently I stopped buying gift bags bc I find it ridiculous to pay $3-5 for a bag when I can put it towards the gift. They even have table cloths serving utensils. Save a lot compare to party city. Even the kitchen selection was awesome. They had Betty crocker utensils!! We gave his niece her gift and she loved it!!! Dollar tree saves the day! read more

It's not the cleanest place but the selection makes up for it. The Dollar Tree has lots of handy odds and ends that make it a very convenient place to shop for incidentals. Personally, I think this is one of the best places to buy packages of thank you cards, tissue paper and gift bags on the cheap. This location offers that and so much more. But I tend to stick with just the basics. There are a couple of aisles of food and drink and even a refrigerated section, too. I try to get in and out fast but checkout lines tend to back-up at times. read more

One of the biggest Dollar Trees I have ever been to, and trust me- I've been to plenty of Dollar Trees. I went our around Christmas time, and the place wasn't organized, and I don't blame them for that... however... however... A cashier there by the name of Yo- so so rude. She was ringing up our items and my friend and I were getting the money out and we said to each other "oh do you have a quarter?" "Do you have a penny?" (What you normally would say when you don't want to break a bill), my friend and I weren't joking around or anything because we were in a hurry, and then Yo, after she's done ringing up she says to us "oh if y'all weren't chit chatting I would have the money by now. But because you two were so busy talking I have to wait." After leaving the store, my Partner in Crime and I look at each other and both, say "What was that?!" No doubt we got a good laugh at it, especially since her name was Yo, but we still thought that was rude. read more

They have an employee their that is just loud and curse very loud. It's inconsiderate to curse as loud as she does and talk horrible about dogs and blame it on her personality. She said everyone know her when they come in. I was in the store and I heard her talk to customer, when the customer approached her nicely telling her about her choice of words and her behavior. They customer told me she is regular and she never heard an employee talk like that until this morning. The employee was saying she from the country and that's just who she is, then continue to say that maybe the customers shouldn't be in her business or listening. Ummm ma'am your very loud. And I work in the animal field and hearing her talk poorly about dogs and her dog disgusts me. A manager needs to have a discussion with her. read more

I was looking for pre-K level flash cards and I had heard that Dollar Tree carries knick knacks like these. While the rest of the store is pretty organized, the toys aisle is not. So looking for stuff was very time consuming but I ended up finding quite a few toddler level puzzles and books to keep my girl occupied. I just left this store. I know that the employees most likely get paid minimum wage but they can at least be professional and treat customers nice. The staff act like they are doing the customers a favor there. Customers are paying for their items. It is not like anything Is free there. The staff need to take a class on what customer service is and how to treat people with kindness. I bought $21 worth of items there and I was placing the green basket that I carried my items to the register and the cashier told me I need to put up my own carrying basket since I was done with it. This is a really nice dollar store- they have a large variety of items, the store is clean, organized and well lit. What really made this a 5-star trip was the cashier, Yo. She was so incredibly friendly to everyone she came across. A big smile, asked each person how they were doing, wished everyone well, and seemed to know her regulars. Each year I try to do a little something for those in need. Each year Ecclesia church decides to hold a huge Thanksgiving the day after Thanksgiving and invite all homeless and less fortunate. It's amazing to be a part of, and each year I try to do my part. Usually that means donating turkeys or pies, and putting together little ziplocks of personal items such as razors, shaving cream, deo, baby wipes, ect. Last year I went to Wal-Mart for my goodies, but this year decided to stop into the Dollar Tree to check things out. I really like this location, there are a TON of useful cheap items, and everything really is $1. I walked away with a couple of bags of combs (20 in each bag) for $1. Also, got 4 pack razors $1, men's socks (2 pack for $1) mittens (2 pack for $1), and toothbrushes (5 each for $1). Also soap for a 4 pack for $1. Such a bargain! I also always get my wrapping paper, tissue, birthday cards, office supplies, and throw away tupperwear here. This year, I got some super cute decorations for both the office and my house. This is one of the largest dollar tree stores but I'll agree with other reviews. It is crazy messy and crowded. I went around Christmas time and nothing was organized and boxes were tossed onto the floor with papers everywhere. It is hard to find things in the mess. The same clerk continues t open up a line and call out "I will take the next in line" and without fail, all the people from the back of the line get in her line. This store is under staffed! The lines are always very long! Dollar tree as a corporation I would never want to work for. They put the employees in great danger. When you walk around a store for 15- 20 min and see only one employee. I was nervous and hoping no one tried anything while I was inside! The location is convenient lots of parking but no security. I usually stop here to get balloons for work. When I walked in I noticed they had mason jars would be perfect for my wedding. They were glass and had color on the bottoms. The colors are my colors for my wedding! ( I have been buying clear ones online and at Armies and Michael's for up to $309 each ) I felt like I got the lotto! I approached an employee Roshedria and explained how excited I was and if they had anymore. She immediately stopped what she was doing and went on a mission! Next I met an employee named Patricio. He was busy stocking. I asked him if I could grab a box. He was so nice. He noticed what I was buying went and found more mason jar items and even salt and pepper shakers in the mason jars. He even helped me take to my car. The lady that checked me out was awesome too. I did not get her name. I did take pictures of Roshedria and Patricio"s name tags. What a great team they have there. The customer service was better than I have gotten in at least 6 months for a purchase. The best part of this is after I left I went to 3 more Dollar Trees to get more of the jars. I scored big! I'm a Dollar a Tree employee over all we have a great staff and we try our best to keep the store clean, restrooms clean, and floors clear of merchandise and provide great customer service, but we need our customers help if a customer decides that they don't want an item could they leave it up front with the casheir once the customer checks out instead of putting it in a spot it doesn't belong imagine how many customers do this a day it leaves no time for 2 casheirs to check at all times only when the lines get long not good for staff or customers , it takes away from other customers who want the item but we can't find it because it's not in the proper place and it takes away from having 2 casheirs at all times because one has to work the floor putting misplaced items back and one works the front assisting customers though we're not short on alot of things But the hours so at least we could have 3 or 4 employees working each shift but that's a whole nother complaint! Customer complaint i give a 2 Not All but most customers come in with children and allow them to play with the toys ,break things and leave them all over the store or just in the middle of the floor once again with only 2 employees working someone has to check customers out and the other on the floor trying to keep the store in tact looking..apologies about freight being out on the floor but that's a temporary issue for store 4757..Dollar Tree Shoppers We are trying to get it together..AND WE WILL!! I will NEVER shop here again due to an employee named SHIRLEY , very unprofessional and rude to her coworkers. The line was down the snack isle and i asked the 1 cashier they had up there if she could call for back up and SHIRLEY came over and said "she got it" and then Shirley walked away and continued to chit chat With what looked like to be her friend and the lady at the register said she was scared of her and scared to give me her name.
