    Happened to be on this side of town after attending a Black Market event around the corner. Saw the shopping strip and asked my husband if we could check it out, and I am so happy we did. We have been looking for an abstract portrait to go in our dining area. This place was full of wall art for the house, thus we found the perfect picture. Lines were long, but that's any Burlington in Houston after 12pm. All in all, if I need something else for the home I will come back because they seem to have slot more inventory than most.

    10 lanes and two cashiers 40 ppl in line and 3 workers just standing around on phones this has to be the worse shit show

    I was looking into getting new countertops in kitchen, reached out to Milestone and explained to…read morethem the type of material I was looking for, which was quartz with grey veining and repeated mentioned I wanted veins going the same direction through out kitchen and no visible seams, I was assured they could do the job. Day of install came and one of the panels was going vertically and everything else horizontally. Reached out to John and after a little back and forth he agreed to replace the panel at no extra charge. When day of replacement came it was only a crew of 2 guys, they struggled a little to move stove and were concerned about gas line as they were unsure how to close it, the guy in charge took them outside and told them to be quiet, stop complaining and get it done. 3 months after replacement section was installed and final payment was made my countertops cracked! I reached out again via email to John, several people from his team came out to look at countertops a couple of times and I was told they'd replace them once they had the same material leftover from another job. That was over a year ago! I repeatedly reached out to John and James who now no longer works with John and I was just given more excuses. I consulted with another company and I was told the reason for counters cracking was most likely bad installation since there were no signs. We also paid for cabinet lighting and lights went out a day after installing after having guy come out multiple times we gave up. I have recently filed a complaint with the BBB, countertops should have come with some type of warranty for at least a year.

When we walked in we were pleasantly surprised that they remodeled, added a Starbuck's, and put cash registers by the doors. That's a huge improvement. (Well so we thought) The registers are very close together so you are standing very close to the other customers who are paying) I am giving one star for the remodel; After that it was all down hill!!!!! --- I jumped in line to do a return. I had my receipt, tags were still on everything. So this should not take anytime, right....well wrong! The cashier (Dessie) was RUDE. I did not realize it was over 90 days from my purchase. (Duh, COVID) So she said she would have to change the prices on everything manually. ...ok. She called another cashier over for some unknown reason. I asked her if she could put it on a gift card/store credit, she replied, Yeah with an eye roll. During this time my daughter walks up and asked why they are taking so long and another lady walks up to the cashier right next to us. This woman was talking really loud to the cashier and my daughter just looks at her. This woman went OFF on my daughter. Asking her what she is looking at and telling my daughter she needs to mind her own business then asked me WHAT I was looking at. (Wrong move) My daughter told me that the only reason why she "looked" at that lady was because she was thinking is she having problems with Macy's like we are. This set the mood for our shopping in Macy's. Rude cashiers is not a way to get me want to spend my money here and we didn't. We left immediately. Macy's needs as many customers as they can get. They have been close to bankruptcy for years. Having rude employees is not a way to get me to shop here. WILL NOT RETURN.

    My review is from the standpoint of a potential consigner. I tried for a couple of months to move…read moreforward with consignment of a collection of items, Cambodian antiques. I submitted the form for a collection to the art department. The confirmation of submission email I received indicated it might take up to a week to get a response, so after a couple of weeks I sent a follow up email. I never got a response to my submission or to my follow-up attempt. I then forwarded the email to the main email address for The Guild, and again, nothing. I waited a while and then reached out again to follow up. No response. I also attempted to reach someone by phone. This process was really exasperating, and I eventually gave up and took my items somewhere else. At the very minimum, their confirmation email should've indicated it might take weeks or months to receive a response, if that was the issue. If they did not want the items, all it would've taken would have been a one-line email to let me know. I followed all the instructions on the website. I couldn't bring the items in because the website indicated you could only bring one or two items in on the designated art day, and that if it were more, that you had to submit that form to the art department. It is bizarre to me that I would receive no response to my submissions through these official channels. I also sent a follow up email indicating how unhappy I was with my experience, and I received no response to that either. My advice is to take your items somewhere else for consignment. It is not worth the trouble to do it at The Guild. It was a complete waste of time for me.
