Yay. I love this H-E-B in Bellaire Texas. I am here often when I needed something and away from those crazy constructions in Chinatown. I usually go after sunset because I don't like to deal with traffic coming here. The store is spacious and always clean. On the occasions, I get to compare prices in the store because there are more variety of same product on the shelves. I couldn't get the opportunity at other H-E-B stores. Service was so-so. But I am okay with that. I especially love the parking garage. I usually park downstairs because I like the up-and-down escalator rides. The entrance is kind of confusing though. I always get mixed up with which door to get back to my car. The parking garage is pretty big. I just didn't like the entrance from the street. There are so many of them and traffic won't slow down for me when I exit. read more

This has slowly become my go to HEB. All the locations are each a little different in their own way. I prefer this one for 2 main reasons this one really feels like community - anytime I have had questions about something everyone is happy to help not just the staff. Found this amazing garlic butter from someone's recommendation that way. Also they seem to have restock the rotisserie chicken on a more regular basis - I actually went to a few different ones and tracked it - mostly because I eat a lot of chicken and want to know its going to be there if I go. Plenty of parking no matter the time of day and people are actually pretty courteous there and of course there are escalators and elevators. And in the event you ever do have to use the restroom while you are shopping - you could probably eat off the floor - it was that clean at the time. read more

But after getting a close parking spot, I entered the downstairs doors, took an escalator upstairs to the store (the main entrance was closed because it was late), and went inside to easily find what I needed. Horrible Service at this place. They really should be drug testing these cashiers. The cashiers at the self-checkout are so high they can barely properly function. Their eyes are bloodshot and some of them you can actually smell the weed on them, it's like they all smoke before and during work. Each H-E-B have a unique catering to their community needs. This is no exception. Located between Meyerland and Bellaire, it serves the large Jewish community. You can find a lot more kosher breads and goods in house than others. Don't be fooled by the size for the first floor is the parking lot. The store is on the second floor. If you need easier access to the store from vehicle I recommend parking upstairs. There are more spots too rather than down stairs. Since it's limited in size, you will feel it a bit narrower than other large H-E-Bs. Yet the staff is friendly and the freshness of veggies and meats are always dependable. read more

This HEB is a lot like the one in Meyerland a couple of miles away where they have a parking garage and the store is on the 2nd floor where you come down with the cart and such. It's got everything you find at the other HEB stores and they're clean but I was not terribly happy with the staff in my first visit because while I was in line, there was a lady behind me with a wheelchair cart and she was asking them for help to put her groceries on the conveyer belt and being ignored by the cashier and the bagger so she was asking me to put her groceries on the conveyer. I was taken aback for a moment because people who are using the wheelchair cart shouldn't even have to take out their things because....THEY HAVE MOBILITY ISSUES so I asked the cashier if they had a procedure setup for that and just looked annoyed and just pointed to the belt so I helped the lady and put her things on there. I really felt bad for her that she had to ask strangers for help rather than the store accommodating her. Other than that, the store is fine. read more

This is our preferred H-E-B despite it not being the location closest to us (but it's not far by any means). Our little area of town has been desperate for an H-E-B for years and then all of sudden, we are graced with two of them. Lucky us! Anyway, this H-E-B is a two story one with the parking lot and pharmacy on the first floor and the main shopping floor on the second floor. The second floor also has a The Roastery location with free WiFi. The husband is an especially huge fan of the oatmeal latte there. I guess overall, this is a pretty run-of-the-mill H-E-B, in terms of the never H-E-Bs. But it's always felt very clean, orderly, and spacious whenever we've made our weekly grocery trips. (It used to be more crowded but since the Meyerland Plaza store opened it, it feels less so!) I've only had positive interactions with the staff and the layout is pretty align to other H-E-Bs. I will mention that this location is even more awesome now that the seemingly-eternal road construction around it has finally been completed! read more

I enjoy coming to this H-E-B because of the covered garage and the wide variety of treats! If it was on my way home I would come here more often but unfortunately it's pretty out of the way. During my latest visit what stuck out to me was that they made an announcement that the card readers were lagging. They apologize for the inconvenience and even gave water/cookies due to the wait even though it only added a couple more minutes. While I wish I could give this HEB 5 stars it does get more crowded then the other HEB's so popular items often fly off the self. It can also be a nightmare to find parking during rush hour so come early in the morning or after 8pm. If you're not comfortable driving in Houston I wouldn't come to this HEB since it can sometimes be hard to exit due to its location. read more

There is plenty of garage parking - over 300 spots, two escalators and cart escalators. Find ALL your grocery shopping needs here. HEB (A San Antonio based grocer) is known for their "Made in Texas" products. It has the largest kosher selection of all the HEBs. They have a floral section, a large wine and beer section and hopes to add a coffee shop soon, a deli, cooking demonstration, bakery, sushi and much more. Omg... am I in love with this new HEB or what! I drove to this HEB to find the sinful vegan foods. And much to my surprise the super small HEB that was in this area I've been replaced by this massive awesome wonderful HEB that I'm now in love with o my gosh! This HEB reminds me of the Whole Foods in the Galleria area in that the parking garage is automated sorta. The spaces tell you when they are occupied by a red light and when they're free by a green light of course they are censored. I was also amazed to see extra wide elevators of course for the baskets and an escalator for customers and for the baskets. Yes you heard me right, my basket has an escalator! I don't know why but I thought that was the coolest thing. The good thing is they haven't attended there to help your basket go through the escalator to make sure that it doesn't topple over and all your goods spillover. The layout of the HEB is very similar to all the newer H-E-Bs with a cooking connection the deli area the bakery, Sushi stations, etc. The layout felt very familiar and that I was still able to get in and out of the store and I was not walking around and around looking for the normal everyday products. Also, the produce was comparable to Central Market, which I love as well. That is a great thing because some of the HEB that I've gone to recently if not had the best produce, But Central Market and this new HEB did not disappoint. Wow, post re-construction this HEB took it to the next level-- figuratively and literally since it's now on the second level as well. Parking was easy and getting in and up and down the escalators too. They have curbside pickup which is cool, but I prefer roaming through the aisles. The store is massive, well organized, and includes a cooking station, a wine tasting station, and a couple other perks that are now common in larger grocery stores. There is such a wide selection, and a large quantity of each item too. I think I spent well over an hour this trip combing through aisle by aisle.. Highly recommended, even if its slightly out of the way, selection was just amazing! read more

I had a terrible checkout experience at HEB (Bellaire) today. The woman who checked me out forgot to put four purchased items (a frying pan and three plastic bins) into my cart. When I called the store, they were not willing to deliver the items to my house even though I only live a mile from the store. This was a complete time waster and shows the lack of ownership to responsibility of a mistake. It is okay to make a mistake, but not owning up to it is poor customer service. HEB pit their foot in this store I went on the grand opening...it was a hot mess of course but how could i miss it! Went back Friday night at 8:30pm much calmer so I was able to take my time and explore...this HEB has everything! And they even introduce some products I've never seen before, fresh strawberry lemonade anddd cherry lemonade yummy! Bakery section is cutttee, produce expansive, health section is huggge. I'm going back early Sunday morning to explore some more. The thing is it's HEB y'all it's normally crazy packed in general and because this one is shiny and new with fancy additives it's going to be a little crazy in general so try to go during off hours to avoid the chaos for now. I do most of my grocery shopping at H-E-B this specific location is in my neighborhood so of course it's my fav! Unfortunately parking can be a terror all though it has 2 levels of parking I swear since it was remodeled all of Houston shops there! I cannot remember our little old H-E-B ever being this crowded! Although I love H-E-B today I was at the self serve beer section (I got distracted per usual looking at beer!) I was doing the pick 6 I grabbed a bottle of Pacifico and immediately felt a pain on my ring finger I looked at my finger and I was bleeding there was a sharp small piece of glass on the neck of the bottle. I wiped the blood off at first but the cut keep bleeding so I was like I'll just go and ask for a bandaid and I'll give them this bottle so no one else will get cut. First I asked a girl giving out samples if they had bandaids she sent me to the self checkout, person at self checkout said they didn't have any and directed me to someone else, that employee said we don't have bandaids or stuff like we have to buy our own stuff. I was alarmed and concerned that they either A. don't have simple first aid items or B. 3 employees have absolutely no knowledge of safety or first aid items yikes! The employee who said they didn't have a first aid box produced one of her own bandaids and let me have it. I informed the person at self check out that the bottle had sharp glass pieces on it and should not be put back on the shelf her response was "oh" and walked away. I noticed that some of the other bottles had these sharp pieces of glass on the bottle and neck of the bottle hopefully someone actually inspects them before someone else gets injured. read more

This is a good store that has a nice variety of products. It is annoying, however, each time I go there is a person at the bottom of the escalator pitching people to switch their electric providers. They are obnoxious and will follow you to the door. HEB must be getting quite the commission from these guys, and I will drive a little further to go to the Kroger on Buffalo Speedway. read more

I was excited to hear that Houston was getting it's first "2 story" HEB, so I came the first weekend it opened and wow was this place packed. I opted to park on the 2nd floor, less chaos. Walked into the 2nd story and walked around, it was like most other HEB in town. So I was excited to see what was downstairs...sadly just a pharmacy and the parking garage, it is not truly a 2 story in the sense of shopping area. I was super saddened that I was almost tricked. The escalator was silly, it kind of locks your cart in a separate ramp. The one at whole foods is suffice. read more

This is my new go-to grocery store. Lovin' it so much that I'm actually writing a review for grocery store. Here are the reasons why. 1. PLENTY of parking space on the first floor garage. 2. The staff here are actually sooo much nicer than any other grocery store. I don't know if they just hired really happy employees or if they got special training but they're really friendly and welcoming. 3. Poke bar inside HEB? YEssss. 4. Parking on the street is a challenge, unless you park 2 - 3 blocks away. They have a down escalator thingy that the store attendant pushes your shopping cart into on the 2nd floor. As you go down the steps your shopping cart is locked in and goes down with you niiiiiiiice. I live at HEB for the quality and the pricing. This redone HEB location is a hit. See the pics I took. I took so many pics that the managers asked me if everything was ok. I told them, absolutely it's a good thing for you. The manager was kind. He smiled and left me to taking my photos. I tried to post these pics the other day on their grand opening, but this location wasn't loaded on Yelp yet. Check location out. It's a night and day difference. 4 Stars from me. On 2023, October 7th around 7 PM I had a family emergency that required travel, so I went to this location to return the perishable items. Note that I bought 1500$ + worth of grosseries. Not only that I paid with a debit card, but I was there not even 24h after purchase. The cashier was very kind, but the General Manager was very rude. He approached already screaming how he was not going to give me cash back when my card was prepaid and I was leaving the country next morning. H‑E‑B has polices and this manager does not care about them. We all have life emergencies, but it seems that this manager at H‑E‑B Bissonnet does not care about costumers or their money. He really is very unprofessional. He thinks he's at home where he can scream and dictate how a statewide company should be run. "I will give you a gift card only this time" Really? No Sr. Money really does not come from a tree and you should be working anywhere else but dealing with people. After spending 1500$ worth of groceries and returning about 200$ I deserved a little respect instead of getting treated like some thief. Anyone deserves respect. Next thing you know I had to give the gift card to someone that would actually use it. It just made me think that affordable prices aren't worth my piece of mind. I was embarrassed. read more

Sorely NEEDED in Bellaire, no doubt! They have a great selection of foods, super friendly staff in all areas, parking attendants AND indicator lights to let you know if it's worth your time to turn down that row in search of a spot. It is a parking garage...the parking is on the bottom level. You ride an elevator to the grocery store level where you also get your cart. After shopping, you and your cart enter the ginormous IKEA sized elevator to ride back down to the parking garage. They have a full bakery and deli and lots of prepackaged heat up meals for one, which I because they are real food + quick and easy. There is curbside pickup which I will probably do from now on since I have seen the 'brand new store'. My only negative is that it doesn't seem like have enough handicap parking. We couldn't find one that day. For the physically challenged, it may be a laborious Trip. :/ read more

I have mixed feelings about this HEB. I never know what kind of experience I'm going to have. And trust me, nobody was more excited to go check it out on opening day than I was. I went to this HEB on opening day (even though I just had an invasive surgery), and I've been a loyal customer ever since. I honestly can't really recall a time that I had a bad experience here due to staff. The staff is always nice to me and my son. The young girl in the bulk section even gives me all the samples of nuts and candy I want. But just like opening day, I often have really bad experiences here due to the customers. I went on opening day expecting to get banged around a little but I risked it anyway. I had no idea I would leave bloody! All due to angry, impatient customers trying to knock you over. And that's not the only time, either. Almost half the times I've ever went, people have deliberately hurt me there in the hustle and bustle of grocery-shopping. And it starts in the parking lot!!! The customers get nasty about parking and nearly ran over my 7 year old while they try to dive into a parking space going 30 miles per hour. It's insane. I hold my son now and he's heavy. The guy in that big gray F350 should be happy I was able to pull some mommy matrix moves to swing my kid out of his way so he could get to that precious parking space. On the inside, it actually gets WORSE! If you can believe that! Let me tell you a tiny bit about how I shop so you understand. I like to find the best produce I can visibly see, sometimes look at coupons or compare prices, and check out different cuts of meat. Pretty basic, huh? I thought so. So tell me why old ladies in buggies like to ram into me while I'm looking for that perfect cantaloupe. Or why they try to knock me over by repeatedly driving their buggies into my ankles.. STARING AT ME WITH ANGER WHILE THEY DO IT!! I'm not even making this up. Also, the young soccer moms of Bellaire and the young father's who obviously hate shopping like to assault me as well. If I don't get out of their way when they come speeding up, having to halt their cart quickly because they seem to be ALWAYS running, I'm glared at like I just murdered their dog. Then they usually suck their teeth and sigh. If I'm not out of their way in the allotted 3 seconds they usually give to clear their path, they just barrel right through me. One guy even clipped my elbow so bad that it bled pretty darn bad! Who then told me to "WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING" as I have tears swelling up in my eyes. He had plenty of room and I was just looking at the Chocolate trying to decide on Lindt or Godiva! I didn't even want chocolate after that. I just wanted to go home. I could go on and on with insane story after the next but I will spare y'all. I'm not a huge, slow person. I'm a normally sized, young, moderately face paced individual. I just don't rush when I'm making purchases like any other frugal person. But the customers here.. the people who shop at this cool HEB in my lovely home of Bellaire.. they make me dread going there. Always in a huge hurry, constantly angry and taking it out in the world, perpetually more important than anyone in their tiny little worlds. Get a grip, citizens of Bellaire. I may not live in those massive castles that you do, but that does not give you the right to treat me like a speed bump. Or run my son over with your gas guzzling monster machines. Shame on all of you. However, to the cute middle aged couple who stopped in front of me in your sedan as I was leaving - to take pictures of the flowers growing on the second floor car ramp - please keep being you! Please stop to smell the flowers and take pictures of them more often! I do not mind waiting a moment and it was beyond cute. You guys are a much needed breath of fresh air at that store. read more

HEB this location had wonderful food items and specialty items. Kind of wish that some of the fellow shoppers (not all) were a bit more respectful of other shoppers. A little more civility would be nice versus stampeding through the neighborhood market. Some shoppers enjoy taking their time to find items and it can be difficult to do that with a stampede of customers behind me in a major rush. It's very intimidating. read more
