What I got in my order: moldy sweet potato
    Justin O'Keith H.

I've held off as long as I could with this review. I kept thinking things would get better or it was a simple mistake. However, that is not the case. I moved back to Meyerland about a year ago. I've been ordering curbside and delivery from HEB since. Going into the store is pure madness. Even the curbside is crazy with the parking garage. So been doing delivery since. The issue is the quality. I've noticed a huge decrease in food quality at HEB. Mostly with my ground beef. After a day in the fridge it begins to turn grey. This happened a couple times. After that I got bad produce. I mean spoiled tomatoes that literally fell apart in the bag and liquid everywhere because it was bad. The last order I got a moldy sweet potato. This is bad. Just because we order delivery doesn't mean we deserve the worst quality items about to go bad or spoil. Do better HEB!

I love visiting all the different HEB's locations and this one was nice. They had plenty of parking, fresh products, and overall clean inside and out. They have everything one is looking for so highly recommend.

I was looking for a quick grab at H-E-B on Endicott and Beechnut. Because there are no fast food restaurants at Meyerland Plaza. I thought to get a bottled water here would be quick. Not so fast. Parking wasn't bad. But getting upstairs from escalator was a trip. Then, walking through the grocery section to the main shopping area took me a while. By the time I get to cooler section, my hands were full with groceries. Then, I had to hunt for a basket. So, you see, quick grab is never possible for me. I like shopping here during late afternoon when young people getting off work. In contrast, I avoid coming here during holiday weekends. That's normally packed.

This is a huge HEB. There is adequate parking in the parking garage. The store is upstairs so you have a choice of using stairs, escalator, or elevator. So it's definitely accommodating to all. Check out lines were short because there were numerous of cashiers working.

This is our favorite HEB in our area. Parking is located in an adjacent parking garage. You can park on ground level (and then take an elevator up to the second floor, where the store is located) or drive up the ramp to park on the second floor. Tip for people with young kids - there are car-shaped shopping carts on the 2nd floor! The store itself has been great about sanitizing carts and ensuring masks are worn during the COVID pandemic. It is comparably a smaller HEB to others, but it has everything we need from fresh squeezed juices to meats and cheeses. Lines move quickly and workers are all attentive!

This is a new H.E.B in the Meyerland area. I was excited to buy sushi. The parking was empty. I visited here on Monday, June 8tharound 930am. It was slow after the weekend. But J.C Penny was closed for good. It was sad. The inside was clean. There were many handwashing stations. I was really grateful. The first floor was a garage, and the second floor was a shopping area. It was high. Here in Meyerland was a flood-prone area. I think I might swim to the shopping area during flooding.LOL. I found California rolls. It was $7.99.It was high for me. I should have visited in the evening, I might have got a discount.lol.I checked Asian groceries. I saw a couple of Japanese foods. I found nori-seaweed,furikake-seasoning, and sakiika-snack. They were a little bit high. You may check them. The California rolls were great! Overall, I liked it here.

545am, opening day, and all of Bellaire and Meyerland is still asleep!

I mean my pocket book is probably better for it because I want to buy the whole store but honestly I've been missing out. The place is cute and welcoming from the corner sign on the building to the moment you step in- bright, inviting, great displays so you know where to go. You can't get lost in here with the signage, but you can't definitely get lost in the aisles with all the great, unique choices. The ready food display has so many Mediterranean treats, some I've had before some I've never heard of and everything I tried was amazing. We got the cabbage rolls and Armenian veggie dolmas. Great flavor, both specific items I haven't had before. Nice citrus, spiced flavor to these. I'd say they're have to try items. Not only found jarred tomato paste, which I've been on the hunt for but they had choices in this category and that's another first for me. Will have to go back and try the others. Also got the cured Serrano ham -amazing. And I thought the prices were going to be insane having a spot right in the middle of the city and nope- pleasantly surprised for my goodies, great prices even less than some of the other stores I frequent in the suburbs. I'll be back again and again and again until I try the whole store lol. Definitely give them a try, you won't regret it

Nevertheless, it had most of what we were looking for, basically just drinks and snacks for our 2-day stay in Houston. My father wanted bakery items for breakfast and settled for the usual Hostess and Hostess-like choices you'd find at, again, a convenience store. However, the gentleman behind the register was pleasant and helpful. A customer came in and while checking out casually mentioned he had a close friend die the day before in a car crash. The cashier was very sympathetic and listened to the guy without interrupting or trying to hurry him along. In all, the store has the basics. I know it seems backwards, but you're way less likely to get approached by someone asking you to buy them something. For the record, the store doesn't feel unsafe--homeless unsafe--but sometimes, you just want to grab your groceries in peace. Now, something that never fails to annoy me: one of the entrance doors is always locked. Every time. So you're forced to walk around to the main entrance. Minor, but annoying. Thankfully, the elevators from the garage always work, so silver lining there if you park downstairs. Today I was reminded of another classic Randall's feature: the smell. I stopped in on my bike to grab some veggies and, like clockwork, was hit with that signature aroma, somewhere between a porta-potty and a city park at noon in July. I think it was coming from outside this time... but I've definitely caught a whiff inside before too. Is it overpriced? Yes. Is it so conveniently located that I keep coming back anyway? Also yes. To be fair, the prepared food section and the bread game are on point. If carbs are a love language, this place is fluent. Bonus points: they've added EV charging for our green-driving friends. But I think they shrank some of the parking spots. I watched a jacked-up truck on stilts struggle to park in a handicap space. Waiting for the driver to hop out onto the hood of the next car over.

Big mistake. First off, I get that Houston was bracing for a snowstorm (crazy, I know), so I wasn't shocked that a lot of my requested items were out of stock. Fine, not their fault. But what was their fault? Not actually giving me half of the things I did manage to order! I got home, excited for my stash of groceries, only to realize I had basically made a charitable donation to HEB. No cheese. No sour cream. No coffee. NO MAPLE SYRUP. The donuts? Trash. Stale, lifeless, and the long john with "cream" filling? A cruel joke. Either it never got filled or the cream evaporated from old age. Tried calling the store--no answer. Couldn't go back because the entire city was frozen over for two days. At this point, I just accepted my fate. Maybe they were overwhelmed that day. Maybe it was just bad timing. But I won't be back to find out. Until Montrose finishes its never-ending construction, I'll be looking for another HEB--or honestly, another grocery store altogether. The beautiful trees in the parking area makes shopping here feel like such an outing. But my most recent visit let me down supremely, while trying to shop for a surprise. I asked for help from several folks for the flower shop and was told they would find someone about 3 times. The last time a woman came by and seemed as if she worked there, relieved I approached her and she stopped abruptly and asked if I needed help. I told her yes if she could help me with some balloons, I remarked I had been waiting over 20 minutes and she rolled her eyes at me and in a strong tone said" I am trying to help you " I reinforced that I was not trying to be disrespectful. I just needed assistance. Still proceeded to wait, then a gentleman named Chris came to the flower area and assisted me with the balloons finally. By then it was almost 40 minute mark. His interaction with me at first seemed as if he was upset, then he lightened the mood, and actually sang while blowing the balloons up. I love HEB but this interaction left a sour taste in my mouth. If they would have just communicated that no one was going to be able to help I would have left. I had yet to have had a negative experience here till this time around.
