I would not recommend Tony for any electrical work. I scheduled him for an estimate, and while he came out as planned, he never followed through. He promised to send me an estimate by Sunday - nothing. I called on Monday, and he gave me an excuse about being busy and said I'd have it that night - still nothing. I called again the next day, and suddenly it was "we didn't have internet," but again, no estimate was ever sent. When I finally got a number from him, it was absurdly high, clearly meant to make me back out instead of being a fair quote. Completely unprofessional, unreliable, and a waste of my time. If this is how he treats potential customers, I can't imagine trusting him with actual work. read more

A day late on this review. Called in a panic as we had no power in 1/2 of our house. I was prepared to pay a service call fee and repair fees but was pleasantly surprised when I was walked through the steps for a fix over the phone. Less than 5 minutes later power was back on. They could have come to our house, charged fees for call and repair but instead decided to be fair and honest! Tony was absolutely great. He provided us with new breakers, cleaning of eroded parts in our electric panel, rewiring of our ceiling fan, repairing of our light fixtures, and saved us a ton of money. He came the same day e called him (we met him the first time during the pandemic), ordered parts, and returned the next day to complete the work. He explained everything he did in exquisite detail, answered all questions, displayed tremendous patience --and provided delightful conversation. DO NOT use this company! Anthony Dolce (owner) was here on a Friday to troubleshoot lack of electricity in my home office. A family member who is not an electrician previously identified #5 and #8 fuse as the potential problem which I told him upon arrival. He insisted that he check all of the outlets in the office first even though I told him they had all been upgraded within the last couple of months. two hours later he looked in the electrical box and said he found a loose wire, which took another hour. $330 later! Now it's 2 days later and no electricity in my office, I called him and with no apology, he told me it would be another service charge plus his hourly rate which would be approximately another $150 +. He apparently does not warranty his work! He is NOT someone I would ever refer much less call again! read more

Our pool motor started to act up. It would stop working for no apparent reason. I contacted Dolce Electric and explained the problem I was having. Tony offered to stop by and check the system out and prepare an estimate. He was here shortly after lunch, same day service! He checked over the system and discovered a few minor problems. During the process i ran into a few questions and thought i would reach out to an electric expert. I contacted Dolce Electric to get an estimate on updating our landscape lighting. Tony set an appointment but was delayed. He called to let us know he would be coming a bit later, something I appreciated. He proved very personable and we were impressed with his professional knowledge. He made great recommendations and promised an estimate within a day. We never received the estimate, so my husband called him back to inquire about it. Tony said that we would have an estimate within the next two days. We have never received that estimate either. We have no idea why Tony would have wanted to waste his time and ours by promising an estimate for work he had no intention of doing, but follow-through seems to be a problem for this firm. read more

My pool timer suddenly would not turn on. Tony spent 20 minutes walking me through (literally) different troubleshooting scenarios. He really wanted me to be able to fix it myself. Ultimately we had to schedule a service call. Turned out it was a deteriorated wire underground. They fixed it in a timely manner with least amount of disruption to side yard. I called this company to get a quote. They said someone would be out the next day between 12-1 pm. No one showed up. So I called and the man that answered said let me check on that hung up on me. I was really trying to give this guy business. So I drove to their place of business to see if someone could help me. Great company! Knowledgeable workers and prompt service! I live in a super old Condo, the power was flickering then died. I called and Tony the owner answered right away and told me he'd have a guy out in an hour or two. 30 minutes later a very professional and knowledgeable electrician named Jake was able to fix one issue right away. Due to a possible other issue, Tony the owner got SRP out to my place within a few hours to change my electrical meter and even came out late night just so he could check out behind their equipment. Amazing customer Service, very prompt and knowledgeable which is very important when you have no electricity in the heat and you work online from home! There was a second issue a few days later, as all my equipment was 36 years old and the whole electrical box needed to be replaced. Again, within a day Jake came back and replaced that all for me within a few hours. Every time someone was done, the owner Tony called after to make sure the issue was fixed and that I was happy with the service!
