BUYER BEWARE: We dropped off our dog in perfect condition, what we got back was a fractured hip. We noticed right away that our dog did not look right, she was limping and very inactive. We went to the vet and spent $1000 on xrays. When we called the owner to find out what happened during the grooming session she was extremely rude, loud mouthed and unprofessional to say the least. read more

I rung the bell to ask them a few questions and see if in the future I can bring my animals there to be groomed and woman who was talking to me was abrupt and at the end pretty rude. She clearly did not like me asking questions. They groom cats but use dry shampoo which in humans found to be causing cancer, likely in animals too. I have brought all my cats here for grooming. The place is very clean--u have to remove your shoes to enter the salon. There is plenty to engage the senses while waiting in the waiting area, including the cats on sale (which i don't promote-- I hate breeders), the decor on the shelves, and posters on the walls about different breeds of cats and dogs. The place smells very nice. My problem is with the woman who runs the place. She barely speaks English, making it very difficult to communicate with her. She is so rough in the way she handles the dogs and cats. Don't get me wrong, she cares about them but i get the feeling she views them as 'objects of our amusement.' If you feel that way about your pets, fine. I know my cats are not going to make any scientific discoveries or run in the next presidential election, but they're contributing to my life and adding meaning to our friendship in incredible ways. I am NOT going to let ANYONE rough handle my babies. On one occasion i went to pick up one of my cats after he'd been groomed. He was terrified and refused to come out of the cage. I was horrified by the way she dragged him out, even though i was protesting in her face not to do that. The last time i was there, i had a huge argument with her because she was yelling at one of the groomers while the groomer was doing my cat's cut and my cat ended up getting nicked! I told her to keep it down because my cat was freaking out due to the shouting. She tried to tell me he's an animal and that i shouldn't mind! I was so angered by her attitude, i told her to return my cat and that i didn't want the cut for him and she acted like i didn't exist. I have not gone back since and I'm not missing a thing! I found a nice groomer who allows me to bring my cats over her house when they're ready for cuts. She's calm and gentle, which my cats love and appreciate. read more

Sucks. Should have known better. Was there a few years ago when she had siamese kittens. The drunk woman who runs the place grabs one of the poor kittens and shoves it in my face and screams "vite siamese....z best!" There is no such thing as "vite" or white siamese which is what she was referring to. Siamese are all white when they are kittens. Not that she would know that. So recently a woman in my building says she brings her dog to this place to be groomed and they do a very good job. So I think what the hell. Ill give it another shot. Maybe things have changed. Wrong! I bring my little Japanese Spitz in. 18 Lbs. the first thing she says is "so big". Really? Im looking around to see who she is talking to. Too much hair! She clog my vents! Are u kidding me? DONT GO THERE!! Yesterday I brought my 1 year old yorkie puppy kaylee and my 2 year old yorkie bella there. As usual I asked for a simple hair cut and left. I noticed that she was takin longer than usual so I called. She told me 1 more hour (2 and a half hours together). Wen I went to go pick up the dogs bella seemed terrified. She yold me to hurry and pick up the dogs off the ground so they dnt pee. On our way home I noticed kaylee trembling but I figuered she didnt lik the car ride. Wwen u got home I gently put kaylee on the floor and she began to limp m she didnt wanna put one of her back legs on the ground. I immediately called her back but there was no answer. I massaged her leg and put her in her bed for the nighy. Normally kaylee jumps up and down and runs around but she just stood in her bed and looked sad. The next mornin I called her to explain that my dog is limpin and she began to blame my other dog (which bella doesnt move at all). I then told her that she will pay for her bill to the vet. Wen I got to the vet the doctor told me that kaylee has a broken pelvis and might need surgery. We asked the doctor that can the injury b from pullin on the leg and the doctor said that the only way it can b broken is if they threw the dog or kicked it. My poor dog had to suffer in pain till they determine if the dog needs surgery or it can heal since shes young. Please do not go here. Ur dog will either come out terrified or has an injury. I dnt know how anyone can even hit a dog that just wants to b loved and giv u kisses. I am soo upset. Please dont go!!!! read more

I give them this one star for even answering the phone on me . After my groomers closed down, I was in search for a neighborhood friendly groomers, I came upon doggy dog world called in the morning to schedule for that same day, the old lady whom answered the phone told me she wouldn't have anything till the evening around 5:30 so I took the appointment . I had inquired a quote for the dog grooming I was asked how big was the dog, I had mentioned my dog was between 12-15 lbs I explained what breed he was and she said it wouldn't been more than $45-$50 I accepted that quote because that's what I've been paying for his grooming for the past 6 years of his life. When I showed up for my appointment, not only did I wait outside for about 15 minutes for her to open the door and let me in . Before I even walked through the door the woman was unstable and flipping out how he's a 50lb dog and he's huge and it's going to cost me over $65 dollars . I felt that this was absurd and she didn't want to even listen to me, I would never recommend this place to anyone . read more

Awful! I called them in the morning to see if they can groom my teacup yorkie who weighs 4 pounds. They told me to come in at 2 so I did and asked them how long it would take. The owner told me that it would take 2 hours and that she would call. At 4pm I called to see if she were dine and I was told she wasn't and that I should just wait for the call. At around 430 I went there and when I walked all he'll broke loose. The groomer instantly said to me "why are you calling every 5 minutesbi am trying to work." please keep in mind that I called once and even if I had called every five minutes ITS mY DOG. Anyway, she then said that myndog kept scratching her and when I said that she thought it would be over by now(a clear joke) the groomer replied "with a normal dog it takes 2 hours but with something like this it can take all day." At this point I asked her to takevthe muzzle off and give me my dog. She took the muzzle off and the dog at me. Please keep in mind that the owner was standing there not saying a word. I could only imagine how they treat dogs when their owners aren't there. Very disrespectful and awful staff. There are tons of other places and I stronglybrecommend taking your pets there. read more
