My well groomed and happy dog
Pauline R.

Caring. .... Yes, we do big dogs!! I need an emergency apt. NO problem will tomorrow be good? Yes Falcon is trimed and he has his 'Mohawk'. I didn't realize that under all that hair Falcon has dry skin... Severe, the owner/groomer took the time and caring to give Falcon an oatmeal bath to sooth his skin. I loved the info-exchange of information seasons before and after as well as when I called to check on Falcon. No poops or peeing. He seemed his happy self and even a little preoccupied with the grooming area. He ran back as if to say bye before coming home.

The only groomers where your cat will come out messier than when he went in. Only in Staten Island...

Good prices but horrible service. Very rude and unprofessional. My dog is scared to come here. Zero stars.

Would highly recommend Shampooch for a professional job at a fair price. My dog comes back clean, neat, and smelling great!

By far best place I've taken my dogs to get groomed. When they are done they look amazing. Everyone in there is so nice too.

Doggy Spa and Grooming

Took my dog Marty here for grooming today and had a great first experience…read more The staff was friendly and welcoming. The space felt clean and calm. Pickup was right on time. Marty came back relaxed and happy. His coat looked fresh and even. Nails were trimmed clean. No heavy perfume smell after. Easy drop off and pickup. Pricing felt fair. They handled him well, which matters since he can get a little nervous. We'll definitely be back.

DONT BRING YOUR DOG TO DOGGY SPA ON 15TH ST Y…read more On May 8th, 2026, I brought my dog in for what was supposed to be a simple teddy bear haircut. I handed over a happy, healthy dog and expected to pick him up looking fluffy and refreshed. Instead, I was horrified when they brought him back completely shaved down without a single warning or phone call asking for permission. I barely recognized him. Later, they contacted my family claiming my dog had red irritation bumps, but that made absolutely no sense. My dog sleeps beside me every single night, and I check him constantly -- he had never shown any signs of bumps, irritation, or skin problems before stepping foot into this place. To make matters worse, they somehow lost his collar, something I then had to replace out of my own pocket. When I brought my dog home, his entire personality had changed. He seemed withdrawn, miserable, and deeply uncomfortable, nothing like the playful dog I dropped off earlier that day. His condition worried me so much that I rushed him to the vet, where I was given medicated cream for his irritated skin. Then, two days later, I discovered a black mark on his ear that suddenly began bleeding heavily. It genuinely looked as though he had been cut during the grooming process. Seeing my dog in pain and bleeding was heartbreaking and infuriating. When I confronted the owner about everything that had happened, she denied every single concern and refused to take any responsibility. The entire experience was upsetting, stressful, and traumatic for both me and my dog. If you truly care about your pet's safety and well-being, I strongly urge you to think twice before bringing them here. I will absolutely never trust this place with my dog again.
