Friendly staff at the bar. Haven't tried the food yet. May come back and order some food. Update: response to Dog Haus reply...nothing was wrong during my visit. I only came by to have a beer. Next visit I will try something off of the food menu.

Always a big fan, so when national cheeseburger came around and they had a special, we had to jump on it! It's called the Hook Up lol. Grabbed our Hook up BoGo and Hot Tots, basically your tater tots dusted in cayenne pepper, delish! We came a little later after 8 so not that crowded as usual. Most people stayed by the bar inside, we decided to be outside as usual.

Took advantage of the dual restaurant and ordered a breakfast burrito and a couple hot dogs. The place is pretty nice, with a full bar and plenty of craft beers on tap. Since they're a breakfast burrito place inside of a (gourmet) hot dog restaurant, they're open earlier than other places in the area. It's in a busy shopping center so parking can be tricky. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest, so I had to knock one star off. Food was a solid 5-star.

Honestly, at this location it was very hard to get the attention of the employees because of how packed it gets during rush hour (4:00-7:00) or should I say, "happy hour" it was a good thing I ordered for carry out but even then the employees were not asking the customers who walked in for carry out only what the name of the order is, so make sure you get their attention first. Quite disorganized. The glizzy itself was scrumptious no complaints about that, the idea of using Hawaiian rolls as the hot dog bun was genius, paired with creative toppings such as avocado, crispy onions, tomatoes, & arugula complimented the beef dog. The spicy garlic aioli was the cherry on top yo. Giving it 3 stars because the service could have been better, there's room for improvement!

Saturday 3/15/25 A quick little updated review. For my birthday reward, dog haus gave me a free burrito of my choice so I got the chachi burrito which had a $16 value and it turned out being the best item I've received from them. After my recent visit, I think it's only fair to raise my review for the birthday gift and for the chachi burrito being enjoyable.

It's currently 8:45 and I came for national hot dog day. They close at 11pm. I'm very disappointed at their customer service. I came to get a hotdog and waited a while in line until I finally get to the front and they tell me they're not taking anymore orders at 8:45. The worker told me their "kitchen is closed and they're not accepting anymore orders." I find that very hard to believe more than TWO HOURS before they're supposed to close. I understand that it's days with promotions that make places super busy and crowded which is why I was understanding and stood in the long line. Restaurants should expect the influx especially because of a promotion and be prepared for it. What I don't like is the fact that I think the worker just shrugged me off and lied that they're closed so I wouldn't order. I was excited to order a lot of food because I was waiting all day and I love the dog haus in college park so I wanted to support. I also saw a woman order a little before I did so that made me even more upset. How did she order five minutes before I did if the kitchen is closed? The place was also very dirty with order bags everywhere, even on the tables. It looked and felt like chaos and disorganization. I was very excited to go but I don't think I'll ever return to this location because of this experience. I do recommend other locations, JUST NOT THIS ONE!!

Another round (photos may be combined w first visit). My husband and I stop by for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place had several other groups, but accommodated everyone really really well. We ordered beer, cheesy tots, the hangover, corndog, potato fries. Everything was great, but I would've liked sea salt on my potato fries and a different type of stick in my corn dog. I've been into my corn dog. I was slightly pierced in my mouth with you sharp skewers.

It was our first time here and it wasn't great. The service was nonexistent as soon as we walked in so that should've been our first clue. You just walk in and seat yourself which is fine if we knew but we kinda just sat there waiting for a server since there wasn't a sign or any type of direction of how or where we should place our order. Eventually, a kid who was sitting at the bar turned around and said hi. Would've never guessed he was our go-to person. We got onion rings, chili tots, chipotle honey wings, fried corn dog, chili the kid and the holy aioli. The food came out room temperature and not much flavor. All of it. It was all just okay. The experience and food was overall disappointing. Especially for the prices. We probably won't come back or recommend this place to our friends.

Hot BYO Beef Dog

Shameless Disclaimer - one of my favorite foods is a hotdog- like, I would choose it over a steak! Did I just lose credibility instantly? Overall- I can get down with a hot dog from a microwave, a gas station, or dressed up for special occasions. I would consider the hotdog pictured below to be wearing a tux just to go get gas. It's unnecessary. It's over the top. And it's complicated - when it doesn't need to be. The hot dog itself was good- a nice snap to it. Too much bun, though. You can order off their list of about 6 different combos of toppings or build your own. I built my own: sauerkraut, caramelized onions, and pickled peppers. It was just okay. My friend ordered one of their special dogs and it was globbed with mayo and ketchup. Sweet Potato fries were decent - but maybe add an aioli dip to level those babies up. Service was friendly and the inside is clean and inviting. The front window opens to the sidewalk - excellent for beautiful weather days.

Nice little Biergarten in Kentlands. Nice to go on a sunny day. Wide selection of beers/cocktails and Happy Hour discounts are good as well. The tater tots portions are huge, so I'd say it should be for at least 2 people.

Beyond Brat on French roll (vegan) and Fries
Molly K.

I knew Dog Haus had vegan options and was eager to try their menu. Overall I was disappointed with the service and execution of the vegan brat. I looked up vegan options at Dog Haus before arriving and it said to substitute their buns for the French roll on their beyond sausage options and impossible burger. It looked like the Beyond Brat had the least amount of modifications to make vegan so I decided to order that with the vegan bun. When I asked the person at the register if the beyond brat was vegan once the bun was swapped he said he thought the mustard may contain dairy. I asked him if he could double check that information. When he asked in the kitchen he learned the mustard did not contain dairy so hopefully this meal was indeed vegan. I ordered a side of fries and a beer as well to enjoy with my brat. The brat took a long time to come out. I visited at 4pm and there were about 4 people in the restaurant. It seemed strange this order would take over 15 minutes to make. When the brat arrived it had an excessive amount of mustard on it. I understand it was drizzled on for an aesthetic but it was just too much of that flavor and not enough toppings to balance it out. The vegan brat was just the standard Beyond sausage taste. The bun held up well and there were no issues. Was this meal memorable? Yes because I have never consumed so much mustard in one meal before. Would I go back? Only if my friends really wanted to. From my experience it is not something I am excited to try again amongst the other options in the Kentlands.

This is a really good place to get a crazy hot dog or burger. The food is outstanding! They have tons of beer on tap! You walk in and order from the counter. The people on staff are excellent. I really liked the way this place is setup. It's like an outdoor facility with roll up doors and picnic like seating. I wish there was one local I'd be there all the time.

CORN DOG TATER TOTS

You know when you are out and about and you just want to have a somewhat relaxing meal where you got lost in it? You have been out all day shopping for gifts and need to find a place to unwind while blocking out the outside world? This might just be the place for you. I now know that this is somewhat of a national chain. But prior to my visit and some internet searching, I know different. I'm still trying to find a local hot dog shop to make my regular place, but until that comes along, this place will do. Not being here before I stood back for a minute to look over the menu and make an informed decision. When I was about to approach the counter this dad comes in, walks right past me as I am at the counter and orders food. Irritated at him I gave the side eye the entire time he took to order. With two kids under the age of three by the looks of it, it took him forever to order. He was finally done ordering and on his way I was finally able to put my order in and take a seat. I got my drink and table top number and found my way to a high top table. I enjoyed the aesthetic of this place. It is that industrial garage feel to it. Nicer weather allows for the garage door to open to the outside and it also doubles as a table top for diners to enjoy the inside or outside for their dining. Was waiting for my food and found out that WiFi is available and played around on my phone. When my food arrived I was happy to see it coming out from the back. I went with a corndog with a side of tots. I wanted to feel like I was at a county fair that day, so I guess that's why I went with this instead of an actual hot dog. I haven't had a corndog in a while and I was attempting to feel a bit nostalgic that day. The mustard served with this did not look like a mustard I have ever tried before, I was skeptical to use it at first, but I did. The tartness of the mustard melded with the sweetness of the corndog coating. Lord, when I first bit into this thing, I was about to spit it out. Not because it didn't taste good (it was immensely good), but because it was searing hot. I started eating this like I just took the pizza rolls out of the microwave. I would alternate between the corndog and tots. The tots were equally searing hot. The outside were extra crispy and then the inside was a tender bliss of potatoes. Thank god for the napkin dispensers on the tables, that corndog was greasy and I had to keep pushing it up the stick to take bites. I continued alternating until the entirety of the meal was consumed. Choosing orange soda to go with this was a nice county fair pairing. Between searing hot bites I would take a sip to cool my mouth down a degree or two. Overall, a good meal to get me through the rest of my day of shopping.

They have one guy working the bar and the counter where you order food at the same time. Wildly unfair to him and the customers.

Came in, was ignored by bartender, decided to leave. You need to either hire better people or train them better.

Does this place require masks for customers and staff?

Dog Haus follows Montgomery County regulations. So... yes for now.

Why are the prices listed for the menu for delivery higher than in the restaurant? Prices for burgers etc. shouldn't be higher just because of delivery should they?

It is like a convenience fee. Other places do it all the time. Chipotle is notorious for it.

Okay first things first, I'll say the food is AMAZING here!! Came with my boyfriend looking for…read moresome late night food and this was the only thing that wasn't fast food open late. It was JUMPIN' this night! It was a Saturday - they had a DJ, waitresses dressed in matching outfits, and it was packed in there. Disco lights went crazy. Somehow we were able to get a table and sat down to order food. We thought we could get good margaritas here but the only flavor they offered was lime unfortunately. Our food took a really long time to come out but when it did, omg it was worth the wait. It was hot and you could tell everything was fresh and quality. Side note: knowing Spanish will help a lot when coming here. It's a mainly Spanish speaking establishment. Luckily, I'm Latina so I could communicate with the waitress once I noticed her English wasn't strong. All in all, this is a good spot for good Mexican food and late night food. I just give it 4 stars for the lack of cocktails...they didn't have a lot of what showed on the menu (pina coladas, etc.) and for the long wait for food when most people were just drinking at the bar.

While waiting to get it fixed we Found Antojitos, a little Mexican cantina in an older strip mall. It was early aftternoon, and there were several groups of men and families eating and drinking. I sensed that they had been there for awhIle, and intended to stay longer, as if this www how they usual spent their Saturday afternoons. Scanning the menu for something interesting my eyes caught the word Mondongo. Reading the menu details ( in Spanish only) I conFirmed that this was a rich tripe stew. I think my son had a steak and egg burrito. Our meals took a while to arrive. Maybe 20 mInutes. The Mondongo was served in a large bowl. The rich orange broth was brimming with large chunks of glistening honeycomb tripe. I Waac also thrilled to encounter chunks of cartilaginous knuckle bones, and a medley or recognizable and non recognizable fruits and vegetables. First, the broth. It was rich with Umami suggesting hours of boiling down pigs feet and knuckle bones. It had a tomato background, but also tasted of pumpkin, and even roasted pumpkinseeds. There was a hint of masa harina reminiscent of tamales. I couldn't identify the other flavors, maybe star anise or allspice. There were big chunks of yuccaa, and plantain slices skin and all. There was some green, maybe chayote. But the Honeycomb Tripe. The three times washed washed cow's stomach was soft and soothing. For the FIRST TIME EVER, I enjoyed a bowl of stomach without any odor or flavor of offal. I keep trying without success to replicate that recipe. Fortunately we have another soccer tournament in two weeks. I'll be back. Jim L

Unfortunately, he took the overall win, but I did beat his score in one round by a landslide, so I'm counting that as a small victory. There were five of us, and we grabbed a quick bite while we played. Both my competitor and I ordered the Parmesan Garlic Chicken Caesar Salad, and I have to say--the chicken was outstanding. Crispy, well-seasoned, and easily some of the best I've had. Definitely not what I expected, but I'd order it again without hesitation. We also went with the Eat & Play Combo, which includes a $10 play card (40 chips) and one of six food options. The website initially made it seem like a flat $20 deal, which felt a bit misleading, but upon rereading, it does say "starting at $20."
