It was my husband and I's first time. We had an amazing experience with Darwin our bartender. He made us feel very welcomed and constantly checked in on us to make sure we are okay. He is an amazing bartender and overall chill and down to earth person. We were welcomed the minute we walked in and sat down. Our drinks were amazing and we were so thankful for the service. Pros - Ate lunch here on 4/28 around noon. Welcomed when we entered and thanked when we left. Food was fine - no complaints. Cons - The floor was sticky as we walked to our table. I think they are using too much chemical when they are mopping at the end of the night, but it gives the impression they might be dirty for the lay person. It also smelled strongly like the deodorizer tablets that are used in urinals throughout the restaurant. A big turn off. I hope ownership corrects these two things because I can see it causing folks not to come back. read more

Food is hit or miss. The brisket seemed like undercooked bacon -- not even edible. The tacos are not flavorful. I do love the buffalo chicken flatbread. Don't look for a good mixed drink; stick with beer/wine. It is a fun atmosphere though, esp on Tue nights when there's trivia. That's a big draw for lots of people and it's fun! Bar and Grill located in Kentlands. I came by because they offer Happy Hour from Sunday through Friday, 3:30-6:30 which are great times. I tried 3 appetizers from the Happy Hour menu and they tasted great, portions are reasonable as well. Drink selection is also great as shown in the picture included. Service was good as my waiter was super attentive, never had an issue asking for something. My only complaint is that when I was here they did not play the music loud enough throughout the restaurant so it felt like you could hear everyone's conversations... I'm sure if it's busier it wouldn't be an issue. I will be returning to try other items. read more

Had a late lunch/early dinner here on a Sunday afternoon. A friend asked for the WNBA finals to be put on a tv and they were so kind and accommodating - they changed one of the TVs By the bar to the game AND changed a tv by our table to the game. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Our waiter refilled my water glass countless times. My bbq grilled chicken sandwich was perfect - not too much bbq sauce. The onion rings were so good I ate them all. The decor fits the theme and the beer menu looks like a lot of great options. I visited during Happy Hour, but seemed to have ordered from the dinner menu. Sat at the bar and tried the Swedish Meat Balls. It is described as tender meat balls freshly made with ground beef tossed in creamy lemon and thyme sauce. It was okay. I was not a fan of the creamy lemon sauce. I also had a Chocolate Martini - described as having Vanilla vodka, Godiva chocolate liqueur, and Kahlua. This drink is not sweet, but rather strong. Highly disappointed with my entire experience here. The waiter didn't seem interested in helping us. He kept trying to rush us and it felt like they wanted us to leave as soon as possible. Nice clean decor. We asked for advice on an IPA. Our waitress named Clarissa(?). Asked if I wanted to sample 2 different IPA's. I ended up choosing and ATLAS. It was an excellent choice to go with. My garlic/parm wings. My dining. Partner had the traditional Buffalo. both were amazing crispy, tasty and juicy - DAMN. we hit it big with flavors!!!!! They had REAL blue cheese dressing and the ranch was great too!!!!!!! WIN, WIN, WIN! The WOLVES are happy! Clarissa was such a delight in talking over the beers and the menu. I haven't been to any Kentlands restaurants in a while. Went here for a Happy hour meeting with a friend. The restaurant wasn't crowded at 6 pm. A very pleasant hostess, gave us a nice booth by the window. The appetizers tasted good. Service was very friendly. The restaurant got busy by 730. Prices were reasonable. The only reason to remove a star are: 1. With a name that has "Brew" in it's name should present the beer menu with every menu. 2. I got a laminated beer menu on request but the beer on the menu was not available. I would recommend a manageable beer menu. Of course I commend this restaurant for having local craft brews. read more

She evidently did not want to be there, and she didn't get better through our entire time there. The juice is not worth the squeeze. I never thought of B&B as a great restaurant, but it was okay and it was at a reasonable price point. However, times have changed, the prices have skyrocketed, and the food is still just so-so. It is hard to justify getting food from B&B when I can walk half a block over and have better food, for the same price, at a dozen other restaurants. Take for example, last night. I ordered fish and chips. Attached is a picture of the three soggy "chicken finger"-sized fish fillets. This entree cost $26! Went here for brunch this morning and got seated immediately . Decided to order the all American breakfast which came with eggs, toast and bacon/sausage. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles which later we found out they were "out of" so he ordered the same thing as I did. The meals came out and there was no butter on the toast and the scrambled eggs were GOOPY, on both plates. I asked for butter and the server brought out literal liquid butter. Like melted butter in a cup... for my toast. I ended up asking for my eggs more well done and the server said he would bring some out. They came out and they were slightly more well done which were tolerable in texture but one bite of the eggs and I could tell that they were cooked with massive amounts of that liquid butter. Me and my girls came here for HH yesterday and we were really looking forward to their drinks and food. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the following: 1. Their HH margarita - it was DISGUSTING. Usually, if it's bad, I'll just suck it up and drink it, but this was horrible and I was unable to even take a sip after tasting it. It tasted like a Long Island iced tea gone bad or just something rotten. The good thing is at least our server was honest with us and told us it was premade (which usually they all are at all bars), but this was a really bad batch. 2. Vegetarian Penne Pasta - bland and uncooked veggies. It looked okay at first but then when you take the first bite, it's like why did I even bother. The veggies (broccoli and carrots) were uncooked, the sauce (or lack of) was bland - no flavor at all, unseasoned - we had to ask for hot sauce/crushed red peppers to add even a little bit of something, 3. Jambalaya - lacked flavor. There was no Cajun flavor whatsoever, as jambalaya should have. It tasted like tomato paste/spaghetti sauce - plain. Only 2 pieces of shrimp in the entire entree. 4. Alcohol tax - 2 of my friends are pregnant and they were charged alcohol tax. Like what in the world?! You know you ****ed up when you charge the pregnant women alcohol tax. He said he would fix it right away but never did. It shouldn't have been added to begin with. Even though the above was unsatisfactory, I will say that our server was very calm, accommodating and patient with us. He always had a smile on his face and never gave us attitude. I can understand the stress to accommodate 10 women asking for certain things at once, and maybe even repeating certain things, but he never once showed that he was over us lol. To be honest, I don't think I'd come back here for HH/dinner. I'll just stick to staying in the bar area and getting beers - no cocktails for me. read more

I ordered the Asian Xing chicken wing appetizer and I really liked it. The wings were hot and juicy, and the sauce had an extra kick to it, which I loved. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very welcoming. I especially loved the live band at the front entrance. The staff were friendly too! We went on a Thursday evening so it wasn't crowded. We were seated quickly. They have a limited cocktail menu and the margarita was liquor heavy. They were also out of the two flavors I wanted. They had short rib on the menu but didn't have that either. The crab dip did not have lump crab but was very tasty. We enjoyed that very much. We ordered Wagu burgers which were ok. They could have been seasoned more robustly. It didn't come with lettuce and tomato so remember to request all the fixings you want. I will say that their house salad with goat cheese and vinaigrette was delicious! The ambiance is casual and comfortable. The service was adequate. Overall I would go back but there are better places for drinks and food in MoCo. read more

Came on a Tuesday while happy hour was still going so decided to make a meal of appetizers. Hubby and I ordered the Brussels sprouts, yum yum shrimp, southwest egg rolls and the bbq chicken flatbread. He also got a new fashioned, I drank soda. He enjoyed his cocktail, I didn't try it so can't say. Of the food probably the weakest entry was the flatbread, it wasn't bad but I think the bbq sauce used was a bit too sharp and dominated the dish a bit too much. I enjoyed the others more - the Brussels were great, well charred, balsamic based dressing with chopped tomatoes and black beans, drizzled with an avocado aioli. The yum yum shrimp were just that, saucy and crunchy and cooked just right. The southwest egg rolls were pretty standard for that dish, but the dipping sauce had a surprising amount of kick for MD. The service was quick and friendly and the ambience more upscale than dive bar, and of course it is located in a newer suburb. Plenty of parking available. They are rumored to have trivia on Tuesday night but I suspect it starts later than we were there as we were out by about 6:30. If you live nearby it is a nice place to get bar food and drinks. read more

I have frequented your spot on a regular basis for music and drinks I brought my daughter there 8/2 On the lunch menu it says 2 for $12. With a few exceptions. I choose this place to go with my daughter to get the lunch special. When I got the bill I asked why the exclusion of the watermelon salad was not on the menu, and I was told he told us. Neither my daughter nor I remembered hearing that. So instead of spending $30 for lunch we spent $45 incl tax and tip. Please re-write the menu with clarity so customers like me do not feel misled by an unclear lunch special menu. Tell us please in writing what is excluded and what your rules are. Thanks. read more
