BBQ Chicken Flatbread, Brussel Sprouts, Sliders
    Joevi F.

Bar and Grill located in Kentlands. I came by because they offer Happy Hour from Sunday through Friday, 3:30-6:30 which are great times. I tried 3 appetizers from the Happy Hour menu and they tasted great, portions are reasonable as well. Drink selection is also great as shown in the picture included. Service was good as my waiter was super attentive, never had an issue asking for something. My only complaint is that when I was here they did not play the music loud enough throughout the restaurant so it felt like you could hear everyone's conversations... I'm sure if it's busier it wouldn't be an issue. I will be returning to try other items.

BBQ Chicken Sandwich & onion rings
    Jessica A.

Had a late lunch/early dinner here on a Sunday afternoon. A friend asked for the WNBA finals to be put on a tv and they were so kind and accommodating - they changed one of the TVs By the bar to the game AND changed a tv by our table to the game. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Our waiter refilled my water glass countless times. My bbq grilled chicken sandwich was perfect - not too much bbq sauce. The onion rings were so good I ate them all. The decor fits the theme and the beer menu looks like a lot of great options. What a delightful experience for my first visit to Brews and Barrels.

    Chocolate Martini - June 2024

I visited during Happy Hour, but seemed to have ordered from the dinner menu. Sat at the bar and tried the Swedish Meat Balls. It is described as tender meat balls freshly made with ground beef tossed in creamy lemon and thyme sauce. It was okay. I was not a fan of the creamy lemon sauce. I also had a Chocolate Martini - described as having Vanilla vodka, Godiva chocolate liqueur, and Kahlua. This drink is not sweet, but rather strong. I am a fan of Martini's but will have to try a different drink on my next visit. Service was great. 3.5 stars Visited June 2024

Taco Tuesday deal (chicken taco and Caesar salad)
    Jaime O.

The Taco Tuesday deal is not in the menu, but my friend knew about it. 2 tacos, salad and margarita for $15. We got doubles and totally worth it! It all tasted so good! Servers were wonderful! Can't say that about host staff. 2 girls sat behind the desk and just looked at each other like "who's gonna get up and take them to a table". Wasn't the best first impression.

Highly disappointed with my entire experience here. The waiter didn't seem interested in helping us. He kept trying to rush us and it felt like they wanted us to leave as soon as possible. There was barely anyone there for them to be rushing us. I wasn't even done with dish and they were about to take it away. On top of that, my friends wagu burger was well done when he had asked for medium rare. I felt rushed the entire time. I was even thinking of getting dessert but due to them asking us 6 times if we were ready within a span of 5-10 minutes was ridiculous. I would not come back.

Great food and service from my friend Kyle always a great time, the shrimp is the best in the area and drinks are fantastic as well, love the low key feel this place has.

So, many of you know me as true to the word: if I don't like my experience, I just don't write. If I love the experience, i am all praise. Today, I all praise! Service! Wings! Beer! Win! I am often in the Maryland area, especially Gaithersburg. Stumbled upon Brews and Barrels in the Kentlands! Thank you, Lawd! There were only a few in the place as it was past Lunch and pre Happy. Nice clean decor. We asked for advice on an IPA. Our waitress named Clarissa(?). Asked if I wanted to sample 2 different IPA's. I ended up choosing and ATLAS. It was an excellent choice to go with. My garlic/parm wings. My dining. Partner had the traditional Buffalo. both were amazing crispy, tasty and juicy - DAMN. we hit it big with flavors!!!!! They had REAL blue cheese dressing and the ranch was great too!!!!!!! WIN, WIN, WIN! The WOLVES are happy! Clarissa was such a delight in talking over the beers and the menu. Will surely be back and sample more foods!!!!!!

It feels upscale but still warm and welcoming. We tried the lunch buffet and it was absolutely delicious. The food wasn't overly spiced, salty, or sweet, everything tasted balanced and made with care, like something your grandma would cook. I went around 1:45 PM expecting the buffet to look picked over or dry (like many places that late in service), but everything was fresh and fully stocked. Great variety, very flavorful, and the meats were well marinated. The staff was friendly and attentive, my water glass was never empty. Lunch buffet is $24.99 per person and absolutely worth it. We made reservations since we were a group of 6 including 2 infants, and these were warranted as the restaurant progressively filled up as we got closer to peak brunch hours. My wife ordered the Pork Belly Benedict, which offered tender-crisp, thick slices of braised pork belly atop soft, buttery focaccia and coated with well poached eggs and creamy hollandaise. We both highly enjoyed my Broadlands Breakfast Sandwich, a clever take on a standard bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich swapping crispy, perfectly sweet French toast for standard bread. The breakfast potatoes served alongside were crispy on the outside with fluffy interiors and good seasoning. Our friends enjoyed their sandwiches as well. As the name alludes, the drink program is strong and offers something for everyone. In addition to wine and whisky, a solid selection of both cocktails and draft beers are available. Prices for both food and drinks were quite reasonable given the quality of what we received. I do dock a star for just so-so service. Our waitress was a bit MIA during the first part of our meal when we were trying to order, and then kept checking in on us every 5 minutes once our food arrived.
