Quick service and a full glass with limited ice. I've know Jess, a bartender, for years and she is freindly, attentive, does a good pour. My comnpanion got the burger and said it was juicy and delicious. I got the Ruben with tot's (my companion got tots, too) and they were hot and fine. Just as you'd ecpect. The Ruben's bread was coated with special sauce on the corned beef plus cheese dripping out due to it being freshly made and cooked. The crowd on Tuesday is rambunctious b/c they do Trivia Night. Tivia Night is well organized with a Leader who has control of the speaker system and large TV above where the questions are posted and easily seen by all. Very cool! read more

Haven't been to Quincy's in some time. They changed the menu and thought the food was decent. Couple folks got steak and cheese, French onion soup, white pizza. Service was fine. One comment-not sure if it was a manager or who...but our server never took our menus. Wasn't a big deal to us, however to the gentlemen who works there and told my husband they weren't placemats was rude. He had 5 stacked up, clearly not as placemats and clearly not collected by the server. read more

Went here the other night for dinner . It's a small local spot tucked away in town. Somewhere only the locals know about . If I could write this review solely for Pat and Jose, it would be 10 stars. Unfortunately, Quincy's has more than two employees, so we're averaging out their 10 stars with negative 2 stars for a net 4 star. Pat and Jose are both incredible - attentive, knowledgeable, speedy, and just all around great guys. If you ever get the chance to go see them, you should absolutely seize the opportunity. However, if you have to sit in the dining room, I would suggest just leaving instead. The turn around time for food and drinks is infinitely longer than at the bar, and the accuracy is non-existent. If I had left instead of sitting in the dining room, I could have gone grocery shopping, cooked dinner, and done the dishes in the time it took to receive what we ordered. One fun quote from the waitress when the smash burger arrived (with the wrong toppings, and also without having smashed patties) was, "oh, they don't actually smash the patties here." She was kind enough to have them remake the smash burger (albeit it still not smashed), and it still came out with the wrong toppings. If you have ever seen me eat mayonnaise, you're a liar because gross. I digress...sit at the bar, have Pat or Jose make you a drink, and listen to some banging tunes (pending DJ availability) that will bring you back to your high school days and make you wonder which of your (arguably questionable) life choices led you to the bar on a Thursday night. read more

Hope Marty and Alexis read this review. Arrived at the Gaithersburg location yesterday mid afternoon on a Saturday and have been a customer for over 30 years (still remember Ernie's Pub). Ordered a cheesesteak sub with chips and meatball sub with fries. I am honestly saying that the quality of the food has gone downhill this past year. The meatball sub was tasteless and the cheesesteak somewhat warm and similar to what you might get at the Shell gas station, just bland. The surprise was getting a 1 ounce baby bag of UTZ potato chips! The fries used to be quite good and homemade chips are a long gone. We likely wont be back and wonder if they are trying to save money with higher groceries prices, or save dollars for the new location hopefully coming to Kentland's. This was our go to place after our weekly volleyball match. However, due to the pandemic, it's been a while. We seated outside in their tent. I wish that they would have cleaned the tables after each guest. We had to ask the table to be cleaned. I heard another table asked the same thing. It was a little slow but probably due to pandemic, it is hard to staff the right number of people. I do have to say the food was on point. Not many places have potato skins any more. Not only was it on the menu, they were delicious. Perfect amount of cheese, bacon, and scallions. For the entrees, we got their specials- shrimp basket with fries and French Dip with tater tots. The shrimp was perfectly fried and tasty. This was my first time trying French Dip. OMG- why did I wait so long to try this dish. The dish was so big that I had leftover and had another meal. It heated up well. I look forward to returning weekly after our volleyball game. read more

Good place for happy hours and group meals. Menu items are standard American fare (pizza, burgers, salads, steak, pasta, ect). Have been here for trivia night one pre-pandemic; made for a fun night. This time was a farewell gathering. I had their Greek salad. It came with a heaping serving of greens, topped with peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese and Kalamata olives. The lemon dressing was on the side and very tangy and light. It was a perfect light dinner. Service was helpful; they were able to do individual checks for the whole table. read more

It was later in the day when I went to Quincy's, so I was surprised to see the bar completely packed. No worries, after looking around a bit (weirdly everyone I looked at for help just ignored me) I found a high top. Sat down, was eventually given a menu, and started hearing the table beside me. A woman was yelling to her party anti-Semitic comments and jokes. The people at her table laughed while no one else around did anything. "Just drunk bar talk". I got up, grabbed my things, and left. Went last week, sat at the bar, amazing service and delicious food. Grilled pork chops with plantains and watermelon! It seems no matter what I order there it is always delicious, The bartenders are attentive yet not intrusive and the locals are very friendly. A great place to watch a game, play some trivia, or hear live music. This review is solely for its Togo experience! My company ordered a large food order and they mentioned it will be finished in 20mins, which they did! When I came into the restaurant John John assisted us and he was amazing! Super friendly and helpful. The people who placed everything together was accurate and we did not have one missed order. They have loads of seating inside this restaurant. There is also a bar are as well! When we came in during lunch hour it was dead but I'm sure they get busy over the weekend or nights. Parking is not a problem! Lol it's in a shopping center. Now the food!!! My coworkers meals looked amazing!! And they enjoyed it! They mentioned that it's the regular items that they order. I got the armrest salad and it was real steak on top. I recommend getting the steak "medium " if you don't want it "dry". My steak was medium well and it wasn't bad it could be better. Lol the crispy onion were kind of greasy and honestly )15 for a salad is a bit pricy lol. It's steak so I get it! Overall? I had a great experience with the staff and the food! read more

I'm a fan of Quincy's! I met a friend here on a Friday around 5pm for happy hour. We were initially attracted by their great drink specials which last until 7pm and reviews of good food. There were a couple bar spots open, so we grabbed a seat and were greeted immediately by the bartender. He quickly riddled off all of the drink specials they offered and man, were there alot of them. Drafts, bottled beer, wine, and rails were all on the HH special. We decided on a couple of $3 rum n cokes -- they were made well; strong but not overpowering! The food is solid, not amazing but good. There are no happy hour specials for food but we were hungry and went with an order of wings and some potato skins. We split our order of wings into two flavors, old bay and buffalo -- both were good! Overall, the atmosphere is fun and friendly. We had some nice chats with the different bartenders, enjoyed the multiple tv screens, and even connected with a couple other bar goers. This place is pretty close to work, so I could definitely see myself returning. read more

Nestled in a shopping center, Quincy's Bar and Grille is a unique find. When you go inside, the bar is off to the right and has a separate door. Plenty of TV's available for viewing. We were seated immediately and our service was fantastic and friendly. I tried the Triple B burger and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was very clean including the bathrooms. I would definitely recommend Quincy's Bar and Grille and would stop by if I'm in the area. read more

I am a huge fan of outdoor dining! The atmosphere outside is quite relaxing. There are tables with fun string lights, and tv's to watch the latest sporting events. The mango salad was ok, I would have enjoyed it more if it had darker lettuce or spinach. I also had the steak and cheese with sweet potato fries and they were a hit!The staff was friendly. Stopped by for lunch. Sat at the bar. When I didn't order a drink immediately because I wanted to see the menu and order first as i was in a bit of a hurry the waitress seemed to cop a bit of an attitude. The menus were so old the print was actually fading off and was hard to read. Ordering - This was a bit strange. The waitress walked over to me to ask if I was ready to order. When I started to tell her what I wanted she walked to the opposite side of the bar from where I was sitting and then again asked me what I wanted from there. We were shouting back and forth to each other to place my order. That was weird.... But, she did get the order correct, so.... The food was good, fresh and served hot. When the check came the prices listed on the check were not what was listed on the menu. That was kinda annoying. To wrap this up, time to print some new menus but your food is good and came out quickly. read more

Happy is fun here! Bar staff are friendly and attentive. They know how to mix drinks right!! I love tots! Fried perfectly! Thin crust pizza is awesome! Wings are great too. I recommend sticking to the traditional sauces and definitely skip the Korean BBQ sauce. I don't know what's in it but it's not Korean. read more

I've been to the restaurant and really enjoyed it, but my delivery experience was not the same. Food was not made to order, the deli meat on the hot Italian was over heated and hard, no mayonnaise, no lettuce, and no peppers, so super plain, Caesar salad was made as a normal salad with huge chunks of tomatoes and cucumbers and was thrown in the same box with sandwich, crab dip was not fresh. Hopefully this was just a one time issue, but won't order delivery again. read more

Well, to set the mood, it's 12:55, a friend and I have been driving for 5 straight hours and really wanted to unwind with a couple beers and shots. Unfortunately that was not the case this evening. The bartender made sure to acknowledge that we showed up after last call on a Saturday(online says open till 2:00a...) no worries we were promptly greeted and billed. Not even 2 minutes after we received said drinks were we pressured to finish and leave. The bar had 16 people. It was a Saturday. Both of us are bartenders and I had to make this review twice because I never do this. We literally spent 5 minutes to get in and feel unwelcome. If this was a Dick's last resort at least give me a hat! Since it clearly said Quincy's I want expecting to be so unwelcome at a new bar! Dog Haus is 6 minutes away with way more beer selections, a full bar, a last call at 2, and beer lines that have been cleaned since Covid! I used to go to Quincy's a lot then stopped after they stopped making their great deep fried onion rings. They were the best in town. Thick cut (sometimes 3/8"). I stopped going to Quincy's before they got rid of them actually. For years you could substitute the onion rings for the French fries that came with the burgers for a slight increase in price. But later they wouldn't let you make that substitution. You had to order them extra so you'd have to deal with both the French fries AND the onion rings. That was enough for them to lose a customer in me. I had always been good for the burger with onion rings and a few beers. As a result of their lack of customer service I stopped going there. Dogfish Head Alehouse is right around the corner and their customer service has always been excellent. Fast forward to the past couple of weeks. Over the big gap of time when I was not going to Quincy's I had started ordering groceries online and a lot of delivery food. I order a lot on Yelp and on Uber Eats. For years the only places near my apartment where you could get a burger cooked Pittsburgh Rare were Quincy's and Dogfish Head. More recently, a lot of places have started offering delivery using 3rd party services, and Quincy's has become one of them. I decided to give them a try again after at least 5 years of taking my business elsewhere. Last week I ordered a Charbroiled Rare Burger from them with Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayo with the following cooking instructions: "PITTSBURGH RARE: Charred on the outside, super rare on the inside. Ordinary rare is overcooked." Although it was not as warm as it should have been (I can see the back of the restaurant from the front of my apartment building.) it did come rare enough. Definitely a good sign. Unfortunately, they completely missed the lettuce, tomato, and mayo, so it was a bit lackluster and not that pleasant to consume. Very disappointing from the aspect of being coldish and not including everything, but hopeful because of the acceptable rareness. Last night I order another one identical to the one I had ordered a week ago except this time I called the restaurant as soon as I placed the order to remind them that I needed it super rare and this time with the lettuce, tomato, and mayo that they left off last time. I got a little attitude from the girl on the phone who asked me if I had made those indications in the order. I assured her that I had and that the reason for my call was because they had ignored those indications previously. Well, this time I got the lettuce, tomato, and a container of mayo. I have better quality mayo at home made with olive oil. I had expected them to have applied it, but OK, I can use my own better mayo if I have to apply it myself. Had I had known it was going to be on the side I wouldn't have ordered mayo. But the real killer was that the burger is what I would call medium rare, which for me is intolerable. I had to give my burger to my roommate and instead I ate the French fries with a can of Progresso soup. For $17 it was a total waste for me. $17 French fries is a bit much. Not that I used them, but last time they sent a bunch of Ketchup packets. This time, none. The whole operation is way too inconsistent. Dogfish Head is just across QO Blvd from Quincy's and still just 0.8 miles from my apartment. They seem to get the food to me warmer. I don't like the DFHA brioche bun and the flimsy piece of cheese they use, plus they are a couple of dollars more expensive, so I was hoping that Quincy's would be better. But it is not. At least DFHA makes it Pittsburgh Rare, they include everything, and it arrives fairly warm. The French fries are the same, skin on and limp, but taste good. A few minutes at 350° in the oven and they crisp up well for both DFHA and Quincy's. The DFHA burger gets to me faster for some reason even though they are farther away across QO Blvd. Ultimately, do I spend a couple of dollars more for a burger from DFHA that I can eat? Or do I spend $17 for a burger from Quincy's that I cannot eat and have to give to my roommate? It is possible for Quincy's to accomplish. They have succeeded in the proper cook before. That's why I used to go to the restaurant to have them. But I can't be gambling that I am throwing my $17 away every time I order from Quincy's. I even called them before they prepared it to MAKE SURE they wouldn't screw it up, yet they screwed it up. I'm better off sticking with Dogfish Head Alehouse for now. read more

My daughter (the steak lover) and I went to Quincy's one evening. Barb was working at the boys were with friends playing laser tag. Quincey's is in the same area as Laser Tag, so we stopped by. First off, we both ordered steaks. Probably not the best idea in a place like this. We would have probably enjoyed the Bar food more. The steaks were overcooked (we both ordered MR and got closer to MW). The fries were soggy at best. The salads were average, the veggies not very fresh and the Ranch Dressing was bitter. Overall not the best experience, but not the worst. read more

Night and day difference between Quincy's South in Rockville compare to this original Gburg location. Both are sports bars; one modern with tons of tv's and the other is well worn (remember when it was Ernie's) almost divey-ish with many tv's too. Both have live music (Rockville one needs sound dampening) and Gburg location has just that homey atmosphere with people dancing to live music on the weekends. Wings are great in both locations and pizza is good too. And how about them tater tots! Dining room is empty in Gburg (maybe knock down the walls and create one big open space with the bar?). Great happy hour specials and good prices even with premium liquor. Good bar to come for a drink and eat some pub grub. Check out their Taco Tuesday special too! read more

I used to frequently eat at this restaurant when it was Ernies Pub . I don't remember eating here after name change . When I walked in with my wife Monday 13 2019 there was a strong smell of stale cigarettes in the place it's clear they are breaking Montgomery County Ordinances. The place was a ghost town should have been my first clue . My wife ordered the Pasta Pesto. I noticed her noodles were old and rewarmed hard to conceal . I thought being from New England let me order the Fish and Chips . The waiter brings its out as it passes under my nose all I smell is ammonia.. no way this is bad . The definition of fish that smell like ammonia : I would post for you guys The ammonia-like smell is because the fish is not fresh. It is a product of decomposition. Don't eat it if it smells like that. It might not make you sick, but then again it might. read more
