Crispy, well-seasoned, and easily some of the best I've had. Definitely not what I expected, but I'd order it again without hesitation. We also went with the Eat & Play Combo, which includes a $10 play card (40 chips) and one of six food options. The website initially made it seem like a flat $20 deal, which felt a bit misleading, but upon rereading, it does say "starting at $20." **Updated Review: Dave & Buster's** We stopped by on Thanksgiving. The place wasn't packed, but it was definitely busy with a good energy. We started out in the bar dining area, where our waiter was great--friendly and attentive. We ordered the 10-for-10 wings and a burger, both solid choices. After eating, we played a few games, which is always entertaining at Dave & Buster's. We ended the night with some shuffleboard. I haven't been to a Dave & Buster's in a year or two and this was the location I last went to. There's been many updates including several new dining areas away from the main bar that were empty the 4 hours I was there even though they all had reservation signs, guess they just didn't want people sitting around and making a mess and needing to clean up. I saw lots of kids sitting around on game machines but not playing or just resting while eating their dipping dots or other snacks instead. Would be nice if these extra dining area were opened for people to rest when clearly not in use. Also a water fountain because there was a lot of running around and all the kids got thirsty and didn't know how to get water. I went for a nephew's birthday party and the dining area is large and includes private rooms that are great for events. Most of the food was ok, a bit dry but usually expected for these kinds of catered food, but the pizza was abysmal - even Chuck E Cheese has stepped up their pizza game and now even has stuffed crust pizza - D&B are the quality of $1 frozen pizzas. The staff were friendly at the party section, but again it would be nice if there was a self-serve soda fountain because the kids didn't know how to ask for refills. It was a super packed Saturday afternoon/evening. Lots of new games, great for young kids and adults. The party package included unlimited arcade games for the day, but it was hard to figure out what's an arcade game, so we went around just tapping, it would be nice if these machines were marked. The games have gotten expensive through the years with a wide range of points needed, so definitely look for promotions like half-priced Wednesdays. This is the cleanest Dave & Buster's I've been to in years. It's good for kids and families and the staff was friendly. This location had wing specials and I ordered dry run lemon pepper. The wings were crisp and the celery had life. If you plan the time properly you can wear out your kids or significant other have a bite, play a bit more and go home with laughter and giggles. Very impressed with their upgraded venue! They have upgraded their interior and it Joe includes shuffleboard bays and virtual dartboard bays that you can rent out. The bar also looks much better giving it a better appeal. Menu has slightly changed and all that we ordered was good -- chicken nachos, flatbreads, wings and fun beer kegs! I wish they had a salad on their menu (what I wanted that evening) but they do have protein bowls. Came here on a Saturday night and much less crowded here for a bar sports night than the neighboring restaurants with 1+ hour waits. I have eaten here 3 times since I got the summer pass. All 3 times the server said I would get the discount and the game play credits. I never got either one even once, and none of the servers could figure it out. The manager offered game credits but that doesn't put the money back in my pocket. I kid for the discount card and it doesn't work so I'll be contacting my company to dispute this summer pass. They don't know how to cook. I ordered medium rare ribeye, came out well done. I re-ordered it rare. Came out well done. Everyone in my group agreed they are simply not capable of making anything but well done steak. The manager even agreed with us, got his best cook to redo the order, and he sent out a well done steak. They simply don't have a heat source hot enough to char the steak without overcooking the inside. They either need better equipment, or to stop ordering 1/4 inch thick steaks. The cooks have no chance of serving proper steak. I know it's an arcade but the ribeye is their pinnacle menu item, by far the most expensive thing they offer. They put a picture of a thick steak without overcooking a pink center on the menu, then serve you a dog food quality piece of leather. Unfortunately my some loves the pizza so I keep having to eat here but I haven't found a single thing that's good other than the sweet French fries. read more

I hadn't been to a D&B in years and took someone who had never been before. We used the new member deal where you buy 100 chips and get 100 free (only good for 30 days once you create your account) and this definitely made the experience more affordable. As far as food goes, I had bbq boneless wings with fries and my friend had the grilled chicken sandwich. Both were surprisingly good and were a decent value. Our server was amazing and we really liked the vibe of the dining area. I'd definitely come back to watch a game sometime with all of the TVs around. After eating we spent about 1.5 hours playing games. The arcade has a great variety of games and our favorite ticket winning games were bowling and dodgeball. Top Gun and Mario Kart were our favorites for a head-to-head battle. The prizes were actually really good here compared to Chuck E. Cheese where 500 tickets gets you an eraser or plastic ring. This was a men's fellowship outing for the men in our house church. We all attend Hope Church in Clarksville, MD for Sunday worship and meet as a smaller group on Fridays in our homes. Three of the five of us are married with kids so they rarely get time to just hang out with other guys. This outing allowed us to connect and have fun. We enjoyed the games, food, and conversations. We all love wings and enjoyed the Nashville hot flavored wings as well as barbecue and the lemon pepper dry rub wings. The burger, nachos and fries were all good too. This Dave & Busters is at the Rio in Gaithersburg, which is always a bustling area with many shops and restaurants. It's a great place to come as a family, hangout with friends or a date, even a solo date. The servers at this D&B were all friendly. The inside was clean for the most part and overall service was pleasant. The weather was great and it was Labor Day so there was a good crowd of people out. This place always seems packed on a regular Saturday evening! Make sure you reserve a table through the D&B app if possible. The hostess has the most challenging job to make adequate seating for parties that booked through the app and those who walk in, so don't feel offended if they do not acknowledge you the minute you walk in. We were seated in about 10 minutes and since there was a boxing fight that day it was packed all around the bar & dining area. My brother and I ordered garlic parm Brussels sprouts as an appetizer; they could have been more crunchier but they were still warm once served. I also got a Chicken Caesars salad, has just the right amount of dressing, while my brother got the cheeseburger with fries. Regular American food nothing special he did not have any complaints about it. Another visit tonight! Arrived at 8:30 PM on a Monday night (11/14/2022). There were some people, but not too crowded at all. Pleasant to play the games and enjoy our time. The regular basketball machines were broke or malfunctioning as it took my card swipe, but all of the basketballs were stuck and never came down... Really had fun playing the Mario Kart game!!! The new Wicked Tuna fishing game was cool and Air Hockey is always a favorite of ours. Tons of Tickets and Tilt are nice, too. The Grab N Win game is sweet as well. Connect 4 is fun, Star Trek Coin Pusher game is always great, and other games inside are very enjoyable for all ages as well. Went to this location with a larger group and was disappointed with the service from a couple of staff members. While not every interaction was negative, there were two employees who fell short of expectations. First, our group of 12 received four appetizers to share--but no small plates. Then, our main dishes started arriving in groups of three, but without silverware. The first round was finger food, so it was somewhat understandable, but when three pasta dishes came out with no utensils, frustration set in. We asked the server who brought the food for silverware, only to receive a nasty look and an unbothered attitude. We eventually had to track down a manager just to get basic dining necessities. Additionally, one member of our party arrived a little late, and their order wasn't taken for 20 minutes because the server never checked on us. The entire place had a revamped version but not everything was updated and even if the food was upgraded the food still nasty and to top of it was extremely pricey for food bar. The servers are always on the move and making their rounds. Please add wipes to clean the surface before every game there are VR games that are place in people's face and eyes and every one sharing those with no wipes to clean them will cause the spread of bacteria and viruses among everyone. The bathrooms are in need of attention and specifically the hand washing station the water is very limited and with not enough pressure and there is only one pump of soap working. read more

First time visiting since pandemic. Our review is really for the games. They have a lot of fun games. They were all working when we were there. They have a new app too. It lets you get extra rewards for completing challenges, eating and drinking, etc. Tickets are now fully digital and it's a lot easier to share a card with a friend. You can also use your phone if you don't want a physical card. There were hand sanitizers on tables all throughout the place. The bathrooms were super clean. The only time we went into the dining area was to sit down and get a few sodas. Our server was really nice. I asked a question of a passing server, who was actually quite rude, but the manager walked over to make sure our needs were met. I highly recommend going on Wednesdays - all games are 1/2 price all day. We'll be playing regularly. They also have a brand new menu - we just haven't had the chance to try it yet. read more

They changed their menu since the last time I went. They really shrunk the number of menu items which turned out to be a good thing as their food is actually not bad compared to the previous times. I like their chicken wings, southern Cobb salad and the Fish and Chips were huge! The Fish and Chips can easily feed two people. Wednesday's are the best time to go as the games are half off. They do have happy hour specials here and I believe late night happy hour as well. I've come here several times and never have any complaints. Love the finger foods, and their late night happy hour. Everytime I've come, their happy hour menu has been different. You have to spend over $50 just to get a little trinket. The drinks at the bar that we ordered was fine and they have decent amount of draft beers (no local beers though), and didn't have to wait too long for a bartender to approach us. I always like an island bar setup for bars :). Now the food here, is just okay. It's my second time back here and wanted to eat their fried dumplings, but alas, I don't see it in their menu.Their pretzel dogs was a bigger version of the frozen pigs and blanket, but a tad better. Nachos was a hit though. This location is a much smaller location compared to others (the old White Flint location was twice the size) as well as had bowling alley and pool tables like the one in Arundel Mills. They only have 2 skee ball machines here! They do offer specials (in the mornings and happy hour). This area needed a place like this and glad to see it here in Gaithersburg! Stopped by Dave and Busters (located where Sport and Health used to be) on opening day and was pretty impressed. It was pretty busy, but not super crowded. I like the layout of this location. You'll see games and the bar right when you walk in. Restrooms and the prize area are immediately to your left when you enter. Dining is all the way in the back, with some tables and seats in the bar area as well. They had your usual games and some new ones as well. C and I were able to play quite a few without waiting for someone to finish. Games can definitely get pricey, so take advantage of their specials (e.g., half priced games on Wednesdays). We had an issue at one game and it took awhile to find staff to help us out. However, after I was able to find someone, it seemed like they were everywhere! The individual helping us was great. Fixed the issue promptly and was happy to help us out. Service at the bar was much faster and friendlier than the Silver Spring location. Was rather painless to grab a drink during HH even though they were fairly busy. Parking is available throughout the Rio, with the closest being the movie theater garage or street parking right outside. I can see that garage filling up quickly as word gets out of the opening. Will definitely frequentt this location more, especially with it being so close to home. read more
