I stumbled across this spot when I was trying to leave Trader Joe's without having an traffic-induced aneurysm and I'm in love. Location Pro & con. It's on Roswell Rd, just past Johnson Ferry in a strip mall type complex. Plenty of parking. But it's a good little trek from my house, so it will never become a regular spot for us. But this is a good thing, because if they were closer, I would be in dire straights financially because they have so much to offer. Interior Very well organized. Cute clothing options and toys tons of snacks and plenty of homemade doggy treats. Everything is easy to find, no clutter. Customer Service The two gentlemen who waited on me were warm and friendly. Greeted me as soon as I hit the door. Answered all my questions. Made suggestions. Told me all about their history and their pups. I felt welcomed and valued. Overall Overall, the prices were what you'd expect to pay elsewhere. Gizmo eats Fromme dog food and they had a pretty good selection - and they have the same prices as the store I typically shop at. I bought Gizmo some belated birthday treats and I gotta tell you, they look like human food - technically they are - but you know what I mean. Lol. I purchased a bag of dog food, a little argyle doggy sweater vest and several bakery items. Gizmo thoroughly enjoyed the treats I've given him so far. I'll be sure to check back the next time I'm over that way. Highly recommend.

James and the team at dog city bakery did a great job helping us with a party idea. We got bookies and frosting and had a decorating party. We are going to be donating the cookies to a dog shelter. It was so much fun. Thanks for working with us James!

This place is fantastic, we especially love James and Roger! Great selection and everyone is so knowledgeable about the products they sell. We are definitely part of their pack and glad they are part of ours!

This was my first time ever going to a dog bakery! Mr. Teddy is the first dog I've ever owned so I am new to a lot of things fur parents do. I ordered my little rascal a birthday cake and bought him several freshly baked treats which he absolutely loved. The ladies at this shop were very sweet and helpful throughout the entire selection process. I loved that shortly after we arrived several other fur parents arrived with their little ones and our dogs were able to socialize and enjoy little complimentary treats. We will definitely be coming back to get our puppy monkey more freshly baked treats and other accessories. Thank you for all of your help and kindness!

Bailey LOVES her cookies and Pup-Day cake for her half birthday!

Bailey LOVES Dog City! She loves the fresh cookies and cheese squares. We go once a week- that's how much she loves it. The cookies and all of the baked goods are fresh. We see them being made constantly. Bailey also loves how much the staff adores her when she comes in. James, knows her by name every time she comes in. I'm just so thankful to have stumbled upon this gem! We will keep recommending this place at dog parks and more!

I had always lways noticed DCB and finally dropped in to pick up some treats for the birthday of my friend's dog. Lou absolutely loved the treats and didn't even leave a crumb behind. I'll definitely be back with Lou and his mom for more goodies.

Dog City Bakery makes the best birthday cakes for your fur kids. They also sell good quality food that you won't see at your local pet store.

Stella and her bestie Lana both enjoyed the woof cakes! They even gave Stella free cookies and she loved those too!

I would highly recommend this store to any pet owner. The staff was welcoming, attentive and kind. They helped me out with making two woof cakes for my Corgi that just turned a year old. The cakes were designed just how I wanted, they were very well made and moist inside! My dog, Stella, loved them so much she almost didn't want to share with her Corgi friends lol! I will definitely be returning so Stella can pick out some goodies! The store was also very clean which I appreciate because Stella is always trying to eat any little thing she finds on the floor. Thanks dog city!

Dillon answered and provided me with really good information and making sure that the filter is soaked and that The water is filled up to the top to ensure that the water can cycle through. He was very informative about other options for the aquarium as well and made sure to let me know that even after setting up the Aquarium with the water conditioner and letting it run for 24 hours, the fish tank is not yet ready for fish. Warning: I was surprised to hear this because I've seen a lot of videos online claiming that you can just add an introduced fish after the 24 hours, but he said that there is a chance that they will not survive because the ecosystem hasn't been built up and the bacteria, hasn't been introduced long enough. I'm glad I spoke to him because he said that I would need to wait a couple of weeks get the water tested to make sure that the ammonia levels and the bacteria are within the right range to support the fish. I share this information in case anybody is also looking at aquariums and to safeguard them from prematurely buying fish only to see some of them die as a result of inadequate aquarium conditions. Dillon was so friendly and I'm thankful for all his help. He gave me a lot of good pointers. I would have definitely made some mistakes if I hadn't spoken to him. Some of the other things he mentioned were the importance of having a heater. He did not recommend the need for a an air pump because the filter should just do its job. And he also mentioned that you'd want to buy a product called stability which helps kickstart the bacteria development. he mentioned feeding the tank as if there were fish present daily. I found this really interesting, but he said that this was an important step as well to get the tank ready for fish to enter.

So I booked a bath appointment for today and made sure to have them make a note that I wanted her completely dry before I picked her up because she doesn't look good when she's air dried and I've had experiences in the past where people have brought her to me still damp. When I picked her up she literally looked worse than when I brought her in. I went back in and asked if they brushed her and the lady said yes. I asked if she blew dried her all the way (because she doesn't mind the dryer so it shouldn't be an issue) and she said she did some and then put her in the kennel with the air dryer. Which is exactly what I didn't want (the first picture is the reason why). I rated this 3 stars because I did get a full refund but I was embarrassed standing at the register with this dog that looked so bad *after* the bath. The second picture is when I brought her home and had to re-wet her and blow dry her myself -- which didn't take long because like I said she doesn't mind the dryer. Overall displeased as I didn't even want a hair cut and if my one instruction was followed I would not have had an issue. Will be returning to the Delk Road location for their self wash if I decide not to just do it at home. But sad that a professional would present me with this absolute mess of a dog.

So I purchased a fish, and I was so very excited about it I had named it and everything. I bought the fish and left. About 15-20 minutes later I went back to purchase more fish so mine had a friend. That same female said she would be with my friend and I shortly. Before she could even help us this other girl came over as I was holding my fish and about to purchase another. She came to us and started talking about how we are unable to purchase a fish if under 18. But when I purchased this first fish I was unaware of this rule. So she made me return the fish that I had already bought, and that was now my property, overruling my right that once I had purchased the fish it was now mine and I had every right to keep it. But since I was under aged she did not inform me of my rights. And was rude. But I loved the other lady who helped me purchase my fish.

Unfortunately, our recent visit to the Sandy Springs Petco grooming salon was deeply concerning and completely out of line with what we've experienced elsewhere. Both of our dogs were checked in for grooming. One of them a calm, sweet King Charles Cavalier Spaniel who loves baths was suddenly described by the groomer as "having a panic attack," which would have been his first ever. The other dog was left at the salon for over an hour without any grooming attempted at all. It appeared they were overbooked that day and simply unwilling to handle the situation. When we asked reasonable questions, the groomer refused to give her name, accused us of not caring about our dog, and hung up the phone on us twice. When we asked to speak with a manager because the situation felt unsafe and poorly handled, we were told to "come pick up your animals" rather than being offered any solution. When we arrived, one dog was returned soaking wet in winter weather, and no one from management came out to speak with us. There was no accountability, no explanation, and no concern shown for the dogs or for us as long-term customers. We have never experienced anything like this at other Petco locations. Until this is addressed, we will not be returning to this salon.
