I saw a couple of chicken feet but then she was telling me about the different varieties of food that they have and vegetables you know can pumpkin stuff like that that I give my dog as well so I ended up getting a few chicken feet and I ended up getting some duck grind raw food for my fur child and they gave me a few samples of some other items that he really enjoyed. I'll definitely come back here to get some treats or food for my dog because they was very knowledgeable about every brand of dog food that they carry but also just they cater to you and give you the ultimate customer service so they get a five hour five and most definitely be back. It's great to have places like this in your community. That's strive to make you happy but also make your dogs happy.

I can't speak to what those negative reviewers received, but my experience at this location has always been really positive (I live really closeby, so I periodically pop in to buy random treats for my dogs). Today was my first time though taking my two medium-sized dogs here for nail buffing (i.e. ground instead of cut). I actually went twice today because I took my dogs separately. Both experiences were absolutely positive. The groomer Brittany was soooooo awesome! One of my dogs has been orthopaedically-challenged since he was a puppy (he's now 12+-years old) and has never been able to walk a lot, which unfortunately means it's hard to wear his nails down naturally (i.e. his quiks are pretty long). Plus, he has all black nails. Despite that, Brittany still managed to give him a really nice pedicure! I literally cannot recall the last time his nails have looked this great (he's been in our family for 12 years...). Previously, I always took him to his vet or doggy daycare's grooming for his nail trims, but they never managed to give him such nice pedicures. Brittany is AMAZING! Brittany gave my other dog a lovely pedicure as well. Marcus at the register was also super awesome, helpful, and friendly =) Please don't be dissuaded by the negative Yelp ratings for this store - the store may have been less-than-pleasant in the past, but I can wholeheartedly say that my experience here as been quite positive! Please give them a shot (and give positive Yelp reviews if you're inclined) so that they stay in our Buckhead neighborhood. It's really nice being able to take your dogs to the nearby Blue Heron park, then stopping by here for some treats.

We took our chihuahua mix to the Petco in buckhead for the Vetco vaccination clinic last month…read more the vet sent a prescription for Heartguard+ through email to us. When we tried to fill it at Costco, we were told that a hard copy of the prescription was necessary. Costco tried to call the Vetco vet to authorize over the phone, but the vet at Vetco refused to cooperate citing that they only do that in house. We were told that another vet was going to authorize the prescription at a later time (maybe one business day?). After three days, we contacted Costco about the med, and were told they were unable to fill it. Out of desperation, we returned to Vetco in Buckhead to fill the prescription and were told by the staff that Petco Buckhead did not have any prescription meds or foods, and that we would need to go to Petco Sandy Springs to fill the prescription. We drove 8 miles down the road to Petco Sandy Springs and were told that they were a clinic and a hospital, but not a pharmacy, and that they could not fill a prescription written by the vaccine clinic vet. They told us to go back to Costco, and they were nice enough to print out the Heartguard prescription on their printer. Finally, back at Costco with a printed prescription, the Costco pharmacy took 45 minutes to put a label on a box and sell it to us. So several miles on the car and several gallons of gas later, a $50 prescription took over a week to fill, and no one at any of the stores really knew what to do. The idea behind the vaccine clinic is great, and it helps cut down on vet visit exam fees and other overhead. However, this is not the way to accommodate your customers, and it put a bad taste in our mouth for using Petco/Vetco vaccine clinics again. I would definitely not recommend them. Maybe Pet Supermarket instead?

I think this location is on the smaller side compared with other PetSmarts I've been to. I come here to shop for my dog, and I've brought her to the store before. This location has grooming and boarding services, but I don't use either of these services. This location also has a Banfield Pet Hospital onsite, which I haven't used. PetSmart is in a long strip mall with lots of big businesses. Parking is readily available in the large, free parking lot, as the parking lot is way too big for all of the stores. Good customer service is hit or miss here. Some of the employees readily seek customers who need help in the store, while other employee seem to actively avoid customers, hurrying away whenever they feel a customer needs assistance. This store seems to carry mostly quality items, and much them come with higher prices. However, many of the same items can be found at Walmart and Target for much lower prices. However, PetSmart provides price matching (with limitations) with competitors' prices, so check with the employees to see if this applies to your circumstance. This PetSmart store has lots of live animals for sale. Not only lots of fish can be found here; I saw hamsters, mice, snakes, lizards and birds just waiting for someone to take them home. PetSmart has things to keep your pets healthy, clean, fed, clothed, groomed, housed ... and I think that about covers it all. I'm amazed at how many different items PetSmart actually stocks in this store. There are so many types of dog food available here, and at different price points. The most recent time I was here, a few weeks ago, I was looking for a specific type of shampoo for my dog, but I looked at the price and knew I could get the same thing for a less expensive price at Target just down the street. Overall, this store is OK.

Absolutely appalling treatment of the betta fish at this PetSmart. These animals are living…read morecreatures, not disposable decorations, and the conditions I observed were completely unacceptable. Bettas deserve clean, appropriate environments and proper care, yet they are often left in tiny containers with little to no enrichment or attention. This is not responsible animal care. PetSmart needs to do better. If a store is going to sell live animals, it has a responsibility to provide humane conditions and proper care while those animals are in its custody. I strongly encourage management to address these conditions immediately and for customers to report animal-welfare concerns rather than ignoring them.

We decided on a gift certificate from Wild Bird's Unlimited and the Buckhead store manager did not disappoint. Jake was helpful from the minute I walked through the door. I have always had such a positive experience in the Buckhead store. Jake showed me where the gift cards were located, I picked out the perfect card, and we chatted while I got things ready to present to my friend at our lunch. While I was in the store, I asked Jake a lot of questions which he answered well. I also window-shopped a bit, looking at items I plan to purchase in the future including some gifts for other friends. If you love birds, old-fashioned customer service, a knowledgeable staff, and a store fully stocked with everything you could want - then I highly recommend the Buckhead Wild Bird's Unlimited store. They can get a little expensive, but you can get a VIP card and then you get discounts. We also have a turtle, and although they have less stuff for exotic pets, they still always have what we need. I really recommend this Pet Supermarket - the staff is also really friendly and will drop whatever they're doing to help you find what you need. My wife went there right after we spontaneously adopted our puppy... I stayed home with the puppy and she was pretty nervous about buying everything by herself. But she says that someone working there talked to her about what kind of dog we just adopted and how old/big he is, and he walked around the whole store with her picking up everything she'd need, including stain and odor remover, potty pads and potty bags, and the right kind of leash and collar.
