I saw a couple of chicken feet but then she was telling me about the different varieties of food that they have and vegetables you know can pumpkin stuff like that that I give my dog as well so I ended up getting a few chicken feet and I ended up getting some duck grind raw food for my fur child and they gave me a few samples of some other items that he really enjoyed. I'll definitely come back here to get some treats or food for my dog because they was very knowledgeable about every brand of dog food that they carry but also just they cater to you and give you the ultimate customer service so they get a five hour five and most definitely be back. It's great to have places like this in your community. That's strive to make you happy but also make your dogs happy.

We took our chihuahua mix to the Petco in buckhead for the Vetco vaccination clinic last month…read more the vet sent a prescription for Heartguard+ through email to us. When we tried to fill it at Costco, we were told that a hard copy of the prescription was necessary. Costco tried to call the Vetco vet to authorize over the phone, but the vet at Vetco refused to cooperate citing that they only do that in house. We were told that another vet was going to authorize the prescription at a later time (maybe one business day?). After three days, we contacted Costco about the med, and were told they were unable to fill it. Out of desperation, we returned to Vetco in Buckhead to fill the prescription and were told by the staff that Petco Buckhead did not have any prescription meds or foods, and that we would need to go to Petco Sandy Springs to fill the prescription. We drove 8 miles down the road to Petco Sandy Springs and were told that they were a clinic and a hospital, but not a pharmacy, and that they could not fill a prescription written by the vaccine clinic vet. They told us to go back to Costco, and they were nice enough to print out the Heartguard prescription on their printer. Finally, back at Costco with a printed prescription, the Costco pharmacy took 45 minutes to put a label on a box and sell it to us. So several miles on the car and several gallons of gas later, a $50 prescription took over a week to fill, and no one at any of the stores really knew what to do. The idea behind the vaccine clinic is great, and it helps cut down on vet visit exam fees and other overhead. However, this is not the way to accommodate your customers, and it put a bad taste in our mouth for using Petco/Vetco vaccine clinics again. I would definitely not recommend them. Maybe Pet Supermarket instead?

I called the store to speak to the manager and was told that I could take him to the Vet if it got worse. I then contacted the corporate office after no apology or empathy. On Memorial Day I spoke to the store manager who seemed empathetic and kind until I took our pet to the our vet and was told this location sends them patients all the time and that they have a running tab??? The manager reassured me this did not happen often and to have ​our vet tell us otherwise was disturbing. I will never take our baby back there again. This was horrible. He was prescribed pain meds and antibiotics. I can't speak enough about how horrible this experience was. ​

I think this location is on the smaller side compared with other PetSmarts I've been to. I come here to shop for my dog, and I've brought her to the store before. This location has grooming and boarding services, but I don't use either of these services. This location also has a Banfield Pet Hospital onsite, which I haven't used. PetSmart is in a long strip mall with lots of big businesses. Parking is readily available in the large, free parking lot, as the parking lot is way too big for all of the stores. Good customer service is hit or miss here. Some of the employees readily seek customers who need help in the store, while other employee seem to actively avoid customers, hurrying away whenever they feel a customer needs assistance. This store seems to carry mostly quality items, and much them come with higher prices. However, many of the same items can be found at Walmart and Target for much lower prices. However, PetSmart provides price matching (with limitations) with competitors' prices, so check with the employees to see if this applies to your circumstance. This PetSmart store has lots of live animals for sale. Not only lots of fish can be found here; I saw hamsters, mice, snakes, lizards and birds just waiting for someone to take them home. PetSmart has things to keep your pets healthy, clean, fed, clothed, groomed, housed ... and I think that about covers it all. I'm amazed at how many different items PetSmart actually stocks in this store. There are so many types of dog food available here, and at different price points. The most recent time I was here, a few weeks ago, I was looking for a specific type of shampoo for my dog, but I looked at the price and knew I could get the same thing for a less expensive price at Target just down the street. Overall, this store is OK.

We've been Petco grooming customers for over six years and have used multiple locations with…read moreconsistently positive experiences. Unfortunately, our recent visit to the Sandy Springs Petco grooming salon was deeply concerning and completely out of line with what we've experienced elsewhere. Both of our dogs were checked in for grooming. One of them a calm, sweet King Charles Cavalier Spaniel who loves baths was suddenly described by the groomer as "having a panic attack," which would have been his first ever. The other dog was left at the salon for over an hour without any grooming attempted at all. It appeared they were overbooked that day and simply unwilling to handle the situation. When we asked reasonable questions, the groomer refused to give her name, accused us of not caring about our dog, and hung up the phone on us twice. When we asked to speak with a manager because the situation felt unsafe and poorly handled, we were told to "come pick up your animals" rather than being offered any solution. When we arrived, one dog was returned soaking wet in winter weather, and no one from management came out to speak with us. There was no accountability, no explanation, and no concern shown for the dogs or for us as long-term customers. We have never experienced anything like this at other Petco locations. Until this is addressed, we will not be returning to this salon.

So I did, and when I got the dog, he didn't really smell like he had been bathed... but I didn't think much of it. Anyways, I paid the tab and came back from Buckhead... when my friend saw the dog, he called the store to demand I get a refund. But Petsmart being Petsmart, they said I had to physically go in a store as opposed to getting refunded over the phone. Really disappointing experience all the way around. If Petsmart is going to offer these grooming services, do them well--or not at all. And it's the main reason why I bathe *my* furbabies at home vs. going here.

Met up with girlfriends to celebrate a belated birthday and wanted to bring a special gift. I had…read moregiven the birthday girl a hummingbird feeder, which she loves. She wanted to add to her backyard patio, and we wanted to give her the option to pick her present. We decided on a gift certificate from Wild Bird's Unlimited and the Buckhead store manager did not disappoint. Jake was helpful from the minute I walked through the door. I have always had such a positive experience in the Buckhead store. Jake showed me where the gift cards were located, I picked out the perfect card, and we chatted while I got things ready to present to my friend at our lunch. While I was in the store, I asked Jake a lot of questions which he answered well. I also window-shopped a bit, looking at items I plan to purchase in the future including some gifts for other friends. If you love birds, old-fashioned customer service, a knowledgeable staff, and a store fully stocked with everything you could want - then I highly recommend the Buckhead Wild Bird's Unlimited store. Toco Hills Shopping Center…read more I tried to return a dangerous/defective cat toy to this location less than 24 hours after buying it. The woman at the register started shaking her head "no" at me when I started asking if there was anything we could do here and didn't even let me finish talking. She then proceeded to tell me I could not exchange it or get a refund. Policy is policy; I get that. But she did not attempt to be a part of a solution at all. I know the bare minimum is pretty normal these days, but surely this store can do better than someone with a "too-bad, and I don't care" attitude. I wonder how many other chains will not let you return or exchange a product with an obvious choking hazard? Regardless, there's no shortage of bad attitude and lack of urgency here.
