I'll definitely come back here to get some treats or food for my dog because they was very knowledgeable about every brand of dog food that they carry but also just they cater to you and give you the ultimate customer service so they get a five hour five and most definitely be back. But Petsmart being Petsmart, they said I had to physically go in a store as opposed to getting refunded over the phone. Really disappointing experience all the way around. If Petsmart is going to offer these grooming services, do them well--or not at all. And it's the main reason why I bathe *my* furbabies at home vs. going here.

I can't speak to what those negative reviewers received, but my experience at this location has always been really positive (I live really closeby, so I periodically pop in to buy random treats for my dogs). Today was my first time though taking my two medium-sized dogs here for nail buffing (i.e. ground instead of cut). I actually went twice today because I took my dogs separately. Both experiences were absolutely positive. The groomer Brittany was soooooo awesome! One of my dogs has been orthopaedically-challenged since he was a puppy (he's now 12+-years old) and has never been able to walk a lot, which unfortunately means it's hard to wear his nails down naturally (i.e. his quiks are pretty long). Plus, he has all black nails. Despite that, Brittany still managed to give him a really nice pedicure! I literally cannot recall the last time his nails have looked this great (he's been in our family for 12 years...). Previously, I always took him to his vet or doggy daycare's grooming for his nail trims, but they never managed to give him such nice pedicures. Brittany is AMAZING! Brittany gave my other dog a lovely pedicure as well. Marcus at the register was also super awesome, helpful, and friendly =) Please don't be dissuaded by the negative Yelp ratings for this store - the store may have been less-than-pleasant in the past, but I can wholeheartedly say that my experience here as been quite positive! Please give them a shot (and give positive Yelp reviews if you're inclined) so that they stay in our Buckhead neighborhood. It's really nice being able to take your dogs to the nearby Blue Heron park, then stopping by here for some treats.

We took our chihuahua mix to the Petco in buckhead for the Vetco vaccination clinic last month…read more the vet sent a prescription for Heartguard+ through email to us. When we tried to fill it at Costco, we were told that a hard copy of the prescription was necessary. Costco tried to call the Vetco vet to authorize over the phone, but the vet at Vetco refused to cooperate citing that they only do that in house. We were told that another vet was going to authorize the prescription at a later time (maybe one business day?). After three days, we contacted Costco about the med, and were told they were unable to fill it. Out of desperation, we returned to Vetco in Buckhead to fill the prescription and were told by the staff that Petco Buckhead did not have any prescription meds or foods, and that we would need to go to Petco Sandy Springs to fill the prescription. We drove 8 miles down the road to Petco Sandy Springs and were told that they were a clinic and a hospital, but not a pharmacy, and that they could not fill a prescription written by the vaccine clinic vet. They told us to go back to Costco, and they were nice enough to print out the Heartguard prescription on their printer. Finally, back at Costco with a printed prescription, the Costco pharmacy took 45 minutes to put a label on a box and sell it to us. So several miles on the car and several gallons of gas later, a $50 prescription took over a week to fill, and no one at any of the stores really knew what to do. The idea behind the vaccine clinic is great, and it helps cut down on vet visit exam fees and other overhead. However, this is not the way to accommodate your customers, and it put a bad taste in our mouth for using Petco/Vetco vaccine clinics again. I would definitely not recommend them. Maybe Pet Supermarket instead?

I really recommend this Pet Supermarket - the staff is also really friendly and will drop whatever they're doing to help you find what you need. My wife went there right after we spontaneously adopted our puppy... I stayed home with the puppy and she was pretty nervous about buying everything by herself. But she says that someone working there talked to her about what kind of dog we just adopted and how old/big he is, and he walked around the whole store with her picking up everything she'd need, including stain and odor remover, potty pads and potty bags, and the right kind of leash and collar.

I asked one of the employees if I could spend some time with the female Mini Schnauzer in one of the many "let's get acquainted" cubicles that they have, and it was fun finding out what type of personality she had. I thought she had a great personality, and loved to play, but her conformation wasn't the best. I thought her head was a little small. While I was with the puppy, the employee brought over documents about the puppy, and I noticed that the puppy's sire was AKC registered, but her dam was APRI registered. I knew that this meant that this puppy was not eligible for AKC registration. Petland wanted $4,850 for her, so I knew this puppy wasn't the one for me. The price was way too much for a non-AKC puppy. She was cute, though. Parking was easy to get in the big and free parking lot that is shared by all of the nearby businesses in this long outdoor strip mall. All of the dogs looked healthy, but there were instances when I thought there were too many dogs sharing the same spaces. The store didn't smell like kennels and it was well lit. It looked like this Petland is more geared toward sales of dog and cats, or more like puppies and kittens. I had seen this store before it went through a big renovation, and there is now a lot of aisle space, but the inventory of food, supplies and toys seems lacking and is nowhere near the higher level that used to be available here.

I was told multiple times that they could. I showed up. Our family found the perfect mini Goldendoodle. Filled out all the paper work and when I went to pay was told they couldn't enter the card manually. Working in IT, I knew that was a lie. I showed them how to do it on the clover Point of Sale system they use. They then told me that the owner wouldn't allow it to happen. I called Mr Hunt, the owner, and explained my situation and what I was told. He told me his employees know better and without saying, called me a liar and scammer. I told him to pull the recordings, but I doubt that will happen. He then offered his stores financial services which are absolutely ridiculous compared to what I currently have. They lost a substantial sale and a customer for life. I'm also aware that these front counter workers make money from sales. I feel bad that the girl helping my family missed out on this commission, but unfortunately the owner prevented that. I could tell she was heart broken. I should have read all of the ratings and took them to heart before driving this way. The only way Mr Hunt keeps this store running is by manipulating people into terrible financial deals.

My pup has a chicken allergy and the first time I went in after we found out about her allergy, they were wonderful helping me find new treats that were chicken free. Unrelated to the allergy, I have to give my pup pills for something and went looking for pill pockets. You can find Greenies Pill Pockets everywhere, and every flavor, even beef and peanut butter, has chicken as a main ingredient. I went to Pet People and they took me straight to the Health Section where they carry multiple brands, including one that has no chicken. I knew I could count on them to have what I needed and I have a very happy pup now!
