IMPORTANT KNOWLEDGE FOR ANYONE WHO DIDN'T KNOW:…read more DID YOU KNOW FURBUSTERS AREN'T A FULLY STAFFED WITH GROOMERS? DID YOU KNOW UNCERTIFIED PEOPLE ARE BEING LEFT WITH YOUR PETS ALONE? -FUN FACT... IN ORDER TO GROOM CATS THE FOLLOWING MUST BE DONE: Cat grooming certification validates expertise in handling, bathing, trimming, and managing feline behavior, with key organizations like the National Cat Groomers Institute (NCGI) offering titles like Certified Feline Master Groomer (CFMG) through comprehensive online/in-person training, while International Professional Groomers (IPG) .... THEY'RE NOT REGISTERED! BUT THEY'RE ADVERTISING CATS SERVICES. I wasn't aware of this at the time, but You can easily search a groomer's name, or a salon's name to see if they are a "FULL SERVICING SALON." I'M GLAD MY NEW GROOMER IS KNOWLEDGABLE AND TOLD ME A FEW THINGS.... --THEY'RE NOT EVEN CAT CERTIFIED TO GROOM CATS!!! GROOMERS LEGALLY HAVE TO BE CERTIFIED FOR CERTAIN SERVICES FOR CATS. FURBUSTERS WERE NOT EVEN LISTED ON THEIR ORGANIZATION . IF THEY ATTEMPT TO REMOVE ANY OF MY REVIEWS I'M SEEKING LEGAL ADVICE.-- DISCLAIMER: This is a real, human-written review based on my personal experience. This is not automated, not AI-generated, and not spam. I am sharing this honestly because I believe pet owners deserve transparency. Review (if I could.... I would put 0) I brought my cat in for grooming and had a really disappointing experience. The handling felt rushed and rough, and I didn't feel like my pet was treated with the care and patience cats need. As a pet parent, that was extremely upsetting to witness. What made this worse was how the situation was handled afterward. Instead of taking accountability or addressing concerns professionally, negative feedback appears to be reported or dismissed rather than acknowledged. That lack of accountability is concerning and discouraging for customers who are simply trying to speak up for their pets. I do want to acknowledge that not every staff member was the issue -- some were kind and tried to be helpful. Unfortunately, the overall experience left me uncomfortable, and I won't be returning. I'm sharing this so other pet owners can make an informed decision. Our pets can't speak for themselves, so gentle care, accountability, and compassion truly matter. This was my first time ever going to FurBusters, and it was honestly one of the worst experiences I've had with a groomer. I only took my cat Tux in for a bath, nothing else. When I picked him up, they had completely shaved him down and even cut his whiskers. If you know anything about cats, whiskers aren't just for looks -- they help them balance and feel safe. Cutting them can really mess them up mentally and physically. If I did that at home, it would be called animal abuse. The fact that a professional grooming place did this like it was normal is just wrong. When I called about it, Layla brushed me off saying "he probably moved too much." They wouldn't even let me talk to or educate Bunny, the groomer who did it. No apology. No accountability. Just excuses. Tux came home scared, confused, and uncomfortable .... all from what was supposed to be a simple bath. That's not grooming, that's neglect. I really don't understand how they can do that to an animal and act like it's okay. If I were to do this to my own cat it would be considered animal abuse. This was my first visit and definitely my last. If you love your pets, please don't bring them here. They clearly don't care about the animals or the owners who trust them. BEWARE: FURBUSTERS ARE TRYING TO DELETE ALL BAD REVIEWS! PLEASE MAKE SURE YO PUT A DISCLAIMER THAT YOU'RE A HUMAN LEAVING A REVIEW! #CatGrooming #FurBusters #AnimalWelfare

My sister took her dog here for the first time and her and I were really specific about the haircut…read morefor her dog. I am a Master groomer but unfortunately I live to far to accommodate her so I was on the phone to make sure she got what she wanted. My sister picked up her dog 4 hrs later ( which is crazy for a small dog) but if he had looked half decent it wouldn't have been a problem. Second he looked like he was in the kennel for 3 1/2 hours and taken out 30 min before it was time to go and no finished work was done. Third they cut him shorter without calling or letting my sister know in advance . Fourth , he didn't receive a bandana or smelled like he had spent 4 hours to get beautified . Then the assistant manager that I spoke with later said that if she paid more she could've gotten a master groomer.. like what? So the most basic clip in grooming history requires a master groomer for him to look decent?!!! I'm sorry but I'm tired of groomers charging and giving half ass results. He did not get a show groomed or hand scissor where I could see where it would require more experience. He got a basic clip. The explanation of why made even less sense. The groomer should have greeted the new client and did an assessment before my sister left on what she could and could not do. That's standard practice here anyway. This was a great disappointment. Train your groomers to hold higher standards in their work and maybe have the "Master" groomers do a once over their work instead of sending them out the door looking crazy.

He asked what type of pet I have and then explained the layout of the store. (I have a Pittie btw). There are a lot of products in this store! They have all the usual suspects: kibble, wet food, treats, refrigerated, etc. What sets them apart from other pet stores is that everything is neat and tidy and in their own specific sections. Everything is easy to get to and the selection is fantastic. But what really made my visit special was William. He was warm, cheerful, informative and genuine. As I waited in line I saw William interact with EVERY customer that walked through the door and those that waited in line. He had an intimate conversation with each of us but not too long so that we weren't kept waiting in line. He signed me up for their pet program for future discounts and even gave recommendations on hiking trails for my dog and me. Most of all, it was so relaxing in the store. I didn't feel rushed and there was no music blaring or dogs barking. Although there were a couple of cute ferrets sleeping, rabbits burrowing and parakeets chirping in their cozy little homes near the register. Thank you William and Pet Supermarket for making my first visit a great visit. Have a lovely holiday weekend!

Would not recommend for long-term boarding, especially for dogs needing coat maintenance…read more I boarded my Shih Tzu here from July 11-22. She has a drop coat that requires regular brushing to prevent matting -- I know that's not something a boarding facility can do for free every day, and I never expected that. At drop-off, I explained this to a young woman, possibly Haley (who was doing intake) and the groomer, who happened to be there. I even brought my own brushes and asked for her to be brushed 2-3 times during the week. I was told they'd check with the groomers. We also scheduled a mini groom for pickup day, July 22nd. Over the following days, I checked in on the webcam when I could and noticed she was looking increasingly disheveled. On July 19th, I reached out again to confirm the grooming appointment and to ask if anyone was brushing her, since she looked matted on camera. Haley responded right away and said she'd ask the groomers. On the morning of the 22nd, I got a call from the groomer explaining that my dog was severely matted and would need to be shaved down. When I reminded him I had specifically requested regular brushing at drop-off, he asked who I'd spoken to -- it became clear that the request had not been passed along or acted on for the entire two-week stay. He was apologetic, waived the dematting fee (which I would never have paid), and said he'd try to save as much coat length as possible. When I picked her up, it was obvious he'd tried, but the result was thinned out, uneven and choppy -- chunks clipped short around the mats, with a longer matted section left near her neck and tail and her top knot was a dreadlock. She looked worse, not better, and I had to book an emergency appointment at PetSmart of all places afterward just to even out her cut. What frustrates me most is that this was preventable. A specific, repeated request was made at drop-off and again mid-stay, and nothing happened until the final morning when it was too late to do anything but shave portions of her coat. Why not just do a proper cut? I was hoping this could be a regular daycare spot for my dog since I'm heading back into the office a few days a week, but after this experience I won't be returning. I don't care about the money. I'm hurt and disappointed more than anything. Photo 1: "Discovery Day" on July 8th. The "before" after a full day of daycare. No problem. Photos 2-3: During the stay. Photos 4-6: The "after" on pick-up.
