My sister took her dog here for the first time and her and I were really specific about the haircut for her dog. I am a Master groomer but unfortunately I live to far to accommodate her so I was on the phone to make sure she got what she wanted. My sister picked up her dog 4 hrs later ( which is crazy for a small dog) but if he had looked half decent it wouldn't have been a problem. Second he looked like he was in the kennel for 3 1/2 hours and taken out 30 min before it was time to go and no finished work was done. Third they cut him shorter without calling or letting my sister know in advance . Fourth , he didn't receive a bandana or smelled like he had spent 4 hours to get beautified . Then the assistant manager that I spoke with later said that if she paid more she could've gotten a master groomer.. like what? So the most basic clip in grooming history requires a master groomer for him to look decent?!!! I'm sorry but I'm tired of groomers charging and giving half ass results. He did not get a show groomed or hand scissor where I could see where it would require more experience. He got a basic clip. The explanation of why made even less sense. The groomer should have greeted the new client and did an assessment before my sister left on what she could and could not do. That's standard practice here anyway. This was a great disappointment. Train your groomers to hold higher standards in their work and maybe have the "Master" groomers do a once over their work instead of sending them out the door looking crazy. read more

Horrible experience. The groomer that worked on my dog did terrible. Upon getting my dog to my car I looked at her nails, they weren't filed down and the dew claws weren't cut. I went back in to get her dew claws trimmed and the person cut both nails way past the quick. My dog was hurt and bleeding (see pic). I emailed the owner twice and no response. I recommend you go ANYWHERE else to get you dog groomed. I cannot abide someone hurting my dog. UPDATE: It's been over two months. No return phone call, no return emails. Nothing from the owner at all. Cannot stress enough how bad of a place this is. Terrible customer service and an owner that doesn't care how their employees treat customers pets. I would give a negative 5 if I could, a 1 star is too good for them. read more

Gave the OWNER specific instructions regarding the cut for our toy poodle. We asked to NOT cut her ears. She did not relay that instruction to the groomer. The groomer not only cut her ears short, but she also cut the entire back of the ears off, quite shabbily, which I have NEVER seen on any poodle. We have had poodles in our family for 30 years. Paid $130 ($22 in tip) before we saw her cut. The owner admitted to the mistake but would not take responsibility nor offered ANY concession. It was an infuriating experience. Her attitude was awful and callous. She could care less. It will take a year for our dog to grow her ears back. ZERO customer service and responsibility. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. Pup n cute came highly recommended and decided to try them. On 2/26/26 we dropped off my Toy poodle Teddy for his scheduled appt at 12 noon. Was told it would be 4 hrs. We were very specific with our request. We asked for the Toy Poodle "Teddy Bear" cut and showed a reference photo to ensure there was no misunderstanding. We also clearly stated that Teddy's tail and ears were not to be cut. Upon pickup, I paid and then they brought my Teddy back to me. What they did to my dog was terrible. They had shaved him down. His tail was shaved and his ears were cut. I expressed my disapproval of their service. Told them they went against my wishes and there was no reason for him to be shaved down like this, because he was not matted. Candace did not offer no apology and said she would find out what happened and get back with me the following day. She never did. On 2/27/26 around 6pm I emailed them, it took the owner Anita 3 days to respond back. Didn't offer an apology for my terrible experience, or a resolution. All she said was " Thank you for reaching out to me about this experience. I will speak with my team today to gather a bit of information as well as review footage. I will follow up with you today. It is 3/11/26 today and I have not heard from her. Ignoring a customer's attempt to address an issue demonstrates a level of disregard that is both unacceptable and unprofessional. What has been most troubling is not only the service itself, but the complete lack of accountability, professionalism, and communication afterward. I would have happily given them another opportunity, if they would have taken accountability. I will never recommend this grooming location not matter how many awards they win. I was excited that I found him! To take my 3 dogs to him... like "always", like before... but then I came across the worst... you can't talk to anyone, you have to leave a voicemail... their website is crap.. they did not let me talk to my groomer (I always did that before)And the owner... Their late appointment / no show / cancellation policy is unnecessarily rigid and punitive - they seem way too eager to charge the $40 with no attempt to be flexible (in my situation, it would've been about 45 mins late due to an unexpected childcare issue). We love pup n cuts! Their staff are friendly and the prices are very reasonable. They always do a great job with my two girls. Our go-to groomer is Kristin and she's able to get both of my dogs bathed and trimmed within 4-5 hours. They usually place a bandana or hair bow as a finishing touch which is cute. They don't accept phone calls but you're allowed to leave a voice message. They are very responsive via email though and send you a text when it's time for pick up. read more

Our first time using Pup-N-Cuts and they were great! We wanted to get our golden retriever a hygienic grooming as well as take of some layers so he's more comfortable with the summer heat. We have been loyal customers to pup n cuts for 10 years x2 dogs, countless referrals, and even continued to commute for their services after moving to west midtown 3 years ago. I'm deeply disappointed in my recent experience. We were told on arrival that we didn't have appointments, and that because we hadn't been in so long, for legal purposes, would need to send proof of vaccinations. Mind you, our last visit was 3mos prior, with accurate records on file. I let reception know that I had received confirmation emails and texts days prior to the appointment. Meanwhile, both of my dogs are escalating in anxiety and freaking out while waiting to be taken back. While trying to find vaccine records on my phone, I stated a little heads up could have saved my dogs the in person meltdown down. They again reminded me that I "didn't have an appointment." I physically had to pull up my confirmation texts stating the date and time of my appointment for both dogs. We were basically treated like oh well bye. Needless to say, we ended up leaving, and they ended up losing a loyal customer(s). read more

Otherwise it's a good shop but buyer beware.. They recently moved to a new appointment payment app that is terrible. They user experience sucks, the calendaring function caused them to drastically over book appts. They collected my deposit, cancelled my appt and would refund my deposit despite several attempts via app and phone. I had to dispute via Amex. It's a shame because the staff and location are great. While I've never been very satisfied with the grooming services here, the lack of availability at other groomers in the area sometimes obligates us to use Pup N Cuts, however this is the last time we'll make this mistake. My dog came in with some matting despite my best efforts, and we were told they'd need to cut his hair down substantially. That's fine and it happens. However - when we picked up the dog, his hair was long in some places and short in others - he looked ridiculous and completely disheveled. We arrived early because the staff seemed adamant about getting out before 6 pm, but were told he wasn't ready - also fine. But when he was handed off to us, he was still damp and had hair flying off of him. I paid for the "Top Dog," costing me $125 before tip (I did not tip after this experience) and his nails were not fully trimmed, his ears did not appear cleaned at all, and I'm doubtful they touched his mouth at all. The groomer trimming his nails said she couldn't finish because he was biting - however we literally observed this interaction and it was very non-aggressive and the dog was irritated, but very reasonably behaving and non-threatening. But, if the groomer felt she couldn't finish the job (which she didn't, his nails are only partially done) then we shouldn't have been charged for the service and she should frankly get a different job. You don't become a plumber and complain about sewage, you don't drive a taxi and drop your passengers off in the middle of the ride because you don't like traffic. Pup-N-Cuts is the highest priced groomer we've been to, and the absolute worst quality. I already had an appointment at Pet People for my dog's next groom, and after this experience, called Pet People to make my next 2 so that we'd never have to return. Edit: The owner of this business, via email, said my dog was "aggressive" (and called him a completely incorrect name) - but he has passed the temperament tests swimmingly at Lucky & Lady, Camp Run a Mutt and Puppy Haven. Also, we just spent 1 hour fixing what this business destroyed and he literally fell asleep... read more
