We adore Melesha and what she has done for our dogs! Since moving to Brookhaven we haven't had the best luck with grooming, we have two Bichons and most groomers disregard our wishes for their cuts and shave them, but Mel has went above and beyond for our girls! This is our second time having their hair cut and we will not be leaving!! She is very detailed and listens to concerns/wants everytime and is upfront about what she can do and it's always perfect!! Puppy Haven is awesome. Fletcher, our excitable Brittany Spaniel, has been going to weekly doggy daycare for 3 years to burn off excess energy. He's always excited to go (which wasn't the case at his previous daycare), and we trust the staff to keep a watchful eye on all the dogs. The staff are also good about getting everyone in and out quickly, which is great as l'm usually rushing to/from work. We've also been happy with Puppy Haven's other services, including nail clippings and bathes. Recently started taking my pup Wade for daycare and it has been wonderful. Hanging out with other dogs is his favorite thing and he can do it here in a safe clean environment. He always comes out tuckered out from all the playing. The staff is so welcoming and pleasant and they are always there to answer and questions you have. The live webcams are an added bonus so I can check in on him throughout the day. I've always had big, short haired, boy rescues (dogs) lucky for me if they got shampooed once a month in the backyard with a water hose. Laila Ali is my first small dog and first girl. She's a Gift from God. Spend lots of time (and $donations!) filling out applications at all the rescue places before I finally realized they were not going to let me have a young dog... at 82, they figured i couldn't make a long term commitment. We have been regulars at Puppy Haven since Chloe was a year old. The staff has ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS been so loving and kind towards Chloe. Daniel , the manager is so awesome that we actually drove 30 minutes to Roswell just so she could see him. But luckily, for Brookhaven he manages our location. Tonight, I got into a little accident and I couldn't pick Chloe up by the time they closed. I completely panicked and called. Megan was so incredibly kind and empathetic. She told me that she lives minutes away and would be more than happy to come back and re open the facility so I could take my pup home. I was already stressed from the minor accident I got in. Make sure to book in advance! We took our dog, Scooby, here for his temperament test, which they require all dogs to do to see how they handle being with other dogs. They have 2 rooms--one for big dogs and one for small dogs. Scooby, our 70-pound beast, was in the big dog room. We got to watch him on the cameras frolicking around with the other dogs. When they take the dogs for outdoor playtime, you unfortunately can't see them on the cameras. You can see them when they're inside though! He got to play all day and he came home exhausted. We boarded him there from a Friday to a Monday. Again, it was so nice being able to watch him on the webcams. They also do a great job of posting on Instagram. They post some on Facebook too, but check out Instagram for more frequent posts. It was comforting to be able to check in on him while he was there. Another great thing about Puppy Haven is their hours! You can get in from out of town pretty late on a Sunday and still pick up your pup until 7:00 pm! Customer service is great! They sent a letter to our house (addressed to Scooby) after his first day there. They also sent him home with a cute little report card. They gave me an update on his eating habits while he was there when I went to pick him up. I love sending Scooby there and would definitely recommend to any other dog parents! read more
